  1. There's already been a set number, price and piece count leaked. It was pretty definitive based on that.
  2. Tbh we all discussed it back when the rumours of the set (price, pieces etc) came out. There's no new information today.
  3. The recent set, the set with Nick Fury and there was a Juniors set.
  4. 3 sets and a polybag featuring the Venom symbiote.
  5. I guess that means leaked images are due any day now. I'm not sure there's ever been a reveal without a leak, although some made it to within a few hours of the official embargo.
  6. Based on articles released about the sets: Force Awakens sets were revealed around 4/9 Last Jedi sets were revealed around 1/9
  7. We got a set that Venom was in. We did not get a Venom movie set. Plus we have had Venom fairly frequently as a minifig.
  8. Just a heads up that the Post Office MOC is doing the rounds as "this years modular" again. One of these days people will Google the set number to double check before posting that it's a new leak.
  9. Surely in the last 2 hours you could have checked the Lego website for the price. It's currently about £15 off in Smyths, so you're better off ordering it from them.
  10. Aren't the ones shown in the trailer original trilogy ISDs? They look like Imperial Class ones to me.
  11. The weapons on the side seem pretty accurate to me.
  12. Apparently they didn't surrender, the various senators simply recalled the ships to their homeworlds to defend them. Although I agree, I would expect at least some of them to be used in support of the Resistance. Tbh, the whole scenario wasn't overly well explained in the films. To someone who hasn't read into the expanded universe, it doesn't make much sense. The opening crawl of TFA says that the Resistance has the support of the Republic, but they seem more like the ragtag rebellion from the original trilogy whereas the First Order doesn't seem any weaker than the Empire. Plus other sources say the Resistance exists because the Republic doesn't support the war. You'd think they would have better quality equipment and more access to resources. Anyway, we're getting away from the topic of Lego. It would be nice to see some more variety in the ships (and therefore sets) for both the Resistance and First order. It was nice seeing the updated Star Destroyer, but everything else is more or less a very subtle redesign. The TIE Fighters are almost identical, apart from the colour scheme.
  13. He played Harvey Dent in the 1989 Batman movie. He was recast for Batman Forever (Tommy Lee Jones played Two Face). Lego used Billy D Williams in TLBM as a nod to his original casting. I believe due to the contract he was in, he still got paid for Batman Forever even though it was recast.
  14. I expect we could see a new B-Wing along with a new system scale Star Destroyer. Both feature prominently in the trailer. Plus this trailer hardly gives everything away. I expect there are a lot of scenes worth turning into sets (or at least concept art similar to scenes in the movie that we'll get as sets).
  15. Physical merchandising is very different from video game licensing.
  16. Tbh I wasn't a fan of the Death Star Gun set to start with. Seeing that it's nearly £20 has made it a definite no. I do like a Star Wars shuttle, so the updated Kylo Ren set is tempting. The Falcon I'll pass on. I have the Force Awakens one and I really don't need another.
  17. We did, but Spider-Man has always had merchandise. He's such a profitable character that Marvel kept producing merch even though they didn't own the rights. He's pretty much the only character to get that treatment. There have been a lot of Marvel TV shows to not get any merchandise at all, whereas for Star Wars it is pretty much expected. They even produce toys based on the Star Wars books, comics and games.
  18. Don't forget that Star Wars shows have always had sets produced for them. As nice as it would be to get Marvel TV sets, I wouldn't get my hopes up.
  19. If you look at the images of the back of the box, it seems there are now 4 quarter panels that open. Each one is more complex than the previous one to allow the gaps to be closed.
  20. I'm very disappointed in the Death Star Cannon set. I was hoping for another diorama style set for the fight between Darth Vader and Obi Wan.
  21. I noticed that. I suppose they had to change it somehow to get people to buy yet another one. The removal of gaps genuinely makes me tempted.
  22. I always assumed that was just to keep them "exclusive", but I'm sure people have reported them turning up in the Build-a-Minifig station in stores. Do we know if the advent calendar part is double sided? They've often made a minifig exclusive based on just the other side of the head.
  23. Or more accurately, turning down a free item because of the packaging.
  24. CMF parts get reused all the time.
