The instruction doesn't specify how to set up the channels, but the overall idea is that one channel will control two related functions: - 1 for blade lift and tilt - 1 for ripper lift and tilt - 1 for two tracks - 1 for ladder I use channel 1 for tracks, 2 for blade, 3 for ripper, and 4 for ladder.

Where did you see this? -
That part count belongs to an earlier leak found on Reddit which has been contradicted by the current leak, which comes from a more credible source and says the part count is 2001. 42113 B model - Boeing Chinook CH-47: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-79220/nguyengiangoc/42113-b-model-boeing-chinook-ch-47-manual/

Im just gonna say there's no way there's gonna be a decent a flagship backhoe with 1 C+ hub (4 ports). If it has 1 hub, then it will turn out subpar: some functions will be either linked, or omitted, or controlled manually. I do hope TLG's not gonna cut corners when it comes to this one and instead use two hubs and charge 400 EUR for it.

Well I certainly did not mean "TLG will not produce a type of machine twice" or "TLG will not create a set's function twice", because there are only a finite amount of machines. What I meant was what you said. For every new version or iteration they will add a little tiny twist and bells and whistles to it. It's not much, but there is almost always an addition of sth. And that is enough for me to say TLG tries not to repeat themselves.
