  1. Now that the biggest crawler crane, or at least Liebherr's biggest, has been done, I wanna put my bet on the next "biggest" thing that TLG will do for flagship. Given how much resources 42146 consume TLG I think they are going for something mechanically simple. Therefore I think the next flagship will be the "biggest front loader," or at least the biggest one in the current lineup of one company. Even if it's not the next flagship I think sooner or later there will be a flagship front loader. And the biggest question I have is that what will it have to differentiate itself from 42030. Perhaps even bigger tires?
  2. Even TLG uses custom livery. Case in point: 42153.
  3. Indeed, for most of the PF conversion mods I include a non-servo option to reduce the dependence on that thing. The only case in which a Servo performs better is the 42124, simply due to a constraint in space. As for the comparison, I can't tell since I haven't got my paws on my 42160 yet. And since I asked my vendor to remove the Power Up components from the set I can't compare after I get the set either. I have no use for spare smart hubs and PU motors.
  4. And it's on: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-161275/nguyengiangoc/42160-pf-conversion/#details
  5. I also have a question about the Yamaha driving ring: does the orange wave selector work with it?
  6. What are some parts with a slideable axle hole? I only know the red 8z gear from 42009,
  7. Hello everyone, this is Gadget Review from Racing Brick
  8. What are the 36 new Technic parts for last year?
  9. If there is to be a truck competition, I'd rather have the model predefined, like a semi truck/tractor truck + trailer contest. Folks can go wild with the functions they wanna put in the trailer. Or just a semi truck contest, but that might be too limiting.
  10. I wanna see a household appliances competition in which someone does a fully functional technic toilet.
  11. This year marks the 10th year that pullback models appear in the modern Technic line. There are at least 2 models a year, and let's allow B models and combination models, then there are 40 models to choose from.
  12. Contest idea: Function-ize a pullback set. Pick a pullback Technic set, remove the pullback motor, then put steering, drive train, fake engine, suspensions to it. My entry: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-96351/nguyengiangoc/42138-manual-version/
  13. The instruction is online! https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-158407/nguyengiangoc/mini-42054-claas-xerion-5000-trac-vc
  14. Imma tag Jim to see how he'd grade this @Jim If you have time, can you give this a quick scoring according to TC25 criteria Just scores no explanation needed, just for fun
  15. Photos are finally in! They are submitted by user seregiz on the Rebrickable page.
  16. I opened my first 1:5 Technic motorbike today and the tires make me feel like Shangchi lol
  17. @Zerobricks I have a couple of point I'd like to clarify to avoid future conflicts: - Am I allowed to make changes to the design to ensure structural integrity or improve building experience? If yes, what's the degree of modification that's acceptable to you? Which features would you want me to retain at much as possible. - Can I publish the instruction on my Rebrickable with proper credits to you?
  18. I'd like to do the building instruction based on this file if you allow me to.
  19. I've pretty much settled with shrunken models Got like 6 shrunken models in the work.
  20. Random contest idea: Pneumatic-ify a set
