  1. Okay, I seem to be split two ways: 1420 is this Bionicle set packaged with Kabaya Sweets in Japan: Also, I seem to be #4206 9Volt Railway Track package: Odd thing is: I used to love Bionicle, but then got into trains at the tail end of the 9V era. Creepy, huh?
  2. Where do you get the mini 10219 engine picture? I see some people have them, such as pinioncorp & JCC1004. I thought this website was one of the only places to get those images. Sorry if it's off topic, I just wanted to know...
  3. Can someone make these rockets: Classic Rocket, Ninja Rocket, and Nimbus rocket? They are all Official Lego Universe rockets. Thanks!
  4. Okay Calabar, here is my suggestion for my Lego Universe rocket models. It seems LEGO will be releasing more Instructions like the ones I used for these models in the future. (They have released two more already at LEGO.com!) I didn't realy intend to make any more, so can we just forget I posted them? Also, I seems to have lost the model files anyway, so I can't post them, not to mention I haven't got a Gallery that wil let me upload somthing like LDD files. (yet!) However: if anyone wants to try makeing these models, go ahead. Here is the classic rocket, Ninja Rocket and the Nimbus rocket. Sorry I couldn't be of any more help. Murdoch17
  5. Okay, I'll keep this one short. I needed a freight train for my EMD SD40 diesel, and I saw the 2010 Cargo train had a lot of cars I liked, but so did some parts of the Hobby Trains set. So I combined the best of both worlds, and all the pieces fell into place. Those once-orderable Hobby Train cars are now orderable again thanks to some tinkering from me. Here are the pcitures of my engine, some hobby cars, and that 2010 train, plus this set: showing the whole train in a front-side view The caboose and rear of the train the side view. (Sorry it's small) This view tells you what the train cars are. (Not really much else to say...) Thanks to AndyC for the models of the Hobby Train & the Cargo Train, and the caboose and the orginal GP-38 model from Johnnhiszippy3. Thanks to thier LDD models, this setup was possible. Oh, I can't upload the LDD file at this point. Sorry! (Now I just need $330 US dollars to buy this LEGO!)
  6. Okay, here's the story. I looked at the fuzzy picture of the new Maersk train, got the LDD file of the GP-38, and then I rebuilt that GP-38 into what looks like a EMD SD40. I added a fourth fan on the roof, fixed structural issues on the front, and made a three wheel truck instead of the two wheeled trucks included in both sets. I think I did a good job, but I want your guys opinion. And yes, except for the red handrails and base, it's orderable from LEGO Design by Me. (Sorry, no LDD file again!) front view side view (it's symetrical so, the same for the other side.) rear & side view This is the It's-about-to-run-you-over-view. Enjoy, and Comments, Questions, and critisism are welcome!
  7. This train I have designed is based off of two Railway sheds my father built a while ago. The shed he built was red and white with two tracks, but the two design features I kept were the end of the track meeting with the shed wall, and the roof style. I orginally made this for my Onyx Night, which is a little shorter than a regular Emerald night. (height wise.) Anyway, I modified the shed for the last picture, that's how the shed would be if ordered it from Design By Me. (Yes, it's orderable at $185.45 US dollars, just missing the side doors.) Sorry for the long speech. Here are the pics: Front, with my figure for scale. side view. Rear view And the Emerald Night inside the shed. As I said, it was 1 brick short of fitting, but the I fixed it with another layer. (I used IlikePies' Emerald Night from the LDD official sets index for this.) Here is my bonus shot: all the pictures compiled into one. (Just so you know, the 7597 is the number of the Onyx Night, for which this shed is used. That's also why I used the black with red stripe color scheme. Enjoy the eyecandy, and I'm sorry I can't upload an LDD file to Eurobricks. Mabye someone talanted here can try their hand at re-creating and uploading it?
  8. Does anyone even want to guess how long the engine is? My guess is a 28 studs long base, with extensions of 2 studs on each end. But then again: it looks longer than the freight cars, which are 34 studs long (at least!). Mabye this is a new, longer train baseplate? And how much do you think the set's going to cost? My best bet would have to be $100 US dollars withouht PF elements. With those elements, I'd say $150 US dollars. I hope it won't be the same price (or more!) of the 2010 CITY Cargo Train. What do you guys think the price will be?
  9. Okay, according to Brickset, this was found at LEGO.com. I don't know where, I just read the news article myself. So, yes, it's real. BUT: It might just be a Maersk Employee exclusive. Another thing: Have we ever got TWO diffrent Maersk sets in the same year? And does Maersk even own a real railway locomtoive? Then again, I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, should I? (Or in this case, a Gift LEGO set in the bricks!)
  10. Thank you so very much! I hope to get this set soon, and this will decide whether it's got any hidden secrets I don't like,. If the sets does have some suprises, then I'll just edit them out and build the set without those steps. Thanks again!
  11. Can someone please make Diagon Alley in LDD? If you don't have the instructions, Grogall uploaded the instructions at this post. I kinda need it to finish this setup in LDD. I've already got Medival Market village on LDD, and would like Diagon Alley to see if it looks good together. Thanks!
  12. My entry is going to be done very soon... maybe within the next 20 miniutes. EDIT: Done!
  13. Have a very LEGO Filled Holiday everyone! Hope you all have lot's of LEGO in the New Year!
  14. I have a Brickshelf acccount, but I got a virus from them a couple of years ago. Sorry for any problems I caused by posting here.
  15. Here are some models I've been working on. The files are not included becasue Eurobricks won't let me attach the LXF files to my post. (It says I'm not allowed to post that type of file.) Anyway, here are my two LEGO Universe rockets. I will be posting more as LEGO releases the instructions. By the way, in case anyone was wondering, I was told these models belong here by a member named Prateek. Here is the link to that topic. LEGO Universe Rocket Back on topic, here are the models, as made and changed by me so they can be ordered. (I will fix them eventually to be made exactlely like LEGO's.) Image This Rocket and this Astronaut are made into one set. This model is orderable. Image The Nimbus Rocket was released by LEGO in these instructions and in LEGO Universe. (I'm sorry I put myself in the picture, it was orginaly going to be my desktop pciture.) This model is also orderable. Thanks for reading, and I hopefully will be doing more of these as LEGO says they will be releasing more rocket instructions.
  16. LEGO just realesed Instructions for the Nimbus Rocket! This means I'm going to continue building Design by Me Rockets! Here is the link if you want to buld one for yourself: It includes instructions! Here is the link: Nimbus Rocket Link This time I'm gonna include the LXF files for both the Orange / white model and this one... at least I'll try to. I personally am excited by this: LEGO said they will be relasing more rocket blueprints! Now, enough of this talk, on to the pictures! Notice I have included myself in the model, I couldn't design a Black Astronaut and make it orderable, so Im here instead. Doesn't this rocket look awesome? Prepare for liftoff! And here we see me! Both the rockets takeing off at once! EDIT: The model file uploader says I'm not allowed to upload this type of file. (That file was a LXF) Can someone please change the title from "LEGO Universe Rocket and Astronaut" to "LEGO Universe Rockets". It wanted it changed because there is more than one rocket. Thanks!
  17. Hmm. Tough choice. I vote for 2011, simply for the Imperial V-Wing. All we need now is a Darth Vader's Sith Starfighter to go with it. Here's a link if you don't know what I'm talking about: Darth Vader's Sith Starfighter Hasbro has one, so why dosn't LEGO have one? Back on topic: The V-Wing is a very nice set and starts a (hopefully) great year. From the sets we can see, 2011 is going to be a very good year for Star Wars.
  18. Sorry for bumping this once again. This time I just want to say the bus just shipped today. I also changed my mind: I may not get Diagon Alley when it comes out. The reason being: I just ordered 2 space ships, and 2 V-wings. On the other hand: I could cancel the 2 Design by me sets and order Diagon Alley. Anyway, i just wanted to say I will update this as soon as it comes. Thanks for reading!
  19. Sorry. I did not put it their in the first place for these reasons: no LDD File, and not exactley official. (I did a bit of tweaking since I don't have the instructions.) The reason I tweaked it was so it could be orderable, but the new problem is: I can't upload it to here! Sorry once again for any problems I caused, but that's my reasoning. If anyone from the LDD place would let me post this anyway, that would be great. Thanks!
  20. I redid this rocket from a picture on Brickset. No instructions were used, just me guessing at which piece went where. Bricklink was a huge help: without the piece list I would torn my hair out trying to get this to near perfection. Now, you may notice the Astronaut is not orderable, and that some pices are not in correct places or don't come in that set at all. Think of them as improvments. Usually they were done to keep the orange / white colors in order. I don't know how to get the file to attach, so i'm gonna just paste pictures. Sorry, but mabye someone better than me can re-construct it and post the file here. Thank you, and here are the pictures: The Astronaut prepares for liftoff. Here we see the side just before the Astronaut begins the countdown. Countdown start: 5, 4, 3, 2 ,1... And liftoff! The ship is now blasting towards places unknown... I hope you enjoyed my rocket. Thanks for reading!
  21. Thank you for your compliments. I really enjoyed working on this model. However, I almost didn't buy it: it was ethier this models now, or Diagon Alley later. While deciding, I saw Toys R Us had the Imperial V-Wing: I quickley decied that the LDD models would be most likely unavalible by the next time I had the cash. Diagon Alley would be avalbile for 2 years at least. (I based this idea off the Death Star from 2008, which is still buyable 2 yeas later.) And so, I bought the LDD models and 2 V-wings. I have a new picture here as well. The back and side shots needed to be updated, and the stats posted, so here they are in one go. Enjoy!
  22. Somewhere in the Space Police Galaxy, the HMS Ironwood rests at Space ouptost Tron-7 while awaiting further orders. Suddenley, three ships aproach from the blackness of space. As they approach, they are hailed by the Ironwood. The newly arrrived ships confirm the rumors: the Ironwoood is getting a new commander, a Admrial named Oswald Lyons... Okay, now on to the real story. Earlier this year, I noticed a model called the Malevolence by a user named ADHO15 in the LDD section of this site. I downloaded the model, and seeing it was unavalible, I made it almost completely black, and buyable. I tinkered with it and created this from that ship: The Ironwood, as I now call it, is on it's way from LEGO Desgin-by-Me. It has six engines, as seen here. And here's the side view: But that's not all! I also ordered Oswald's black space ship, the Avenger, shown here with some not avalible parts which I already have: Plus two Imperial V-Wing's from Toys R Us. The LDD models should be here by January, and the V-wings are comming (hopefully) soon! Also, the model of the Tron-7 is avalible. (I it made using a template from LEGO.) The model will be bought sometime in 2011. And, to finsh this very long post, I have created two pictures. The first is a shot of the Ironwood in space, And the other is a recruitment poster. Enjoy the pictuers, and I hope you like the ships! P.S. Thank you ADHO15 for the orgianl Malevolence model. Without it, this would have never happened. EDIT: I realized I forgot a pciture of Oswald Lyons. This isn't exactley correct, as that's not his head or hair. But it's the best I have.
  23. Huh. Tough choice! I would have to narrow it down to two sets: Freeing Dobby if I can't pick a set that's not buyable. (The reason is Lucius Malfoy's suit) Otherwise, Diagon Alley would be my favorite set, just by how it looks. Pics included: Diagon Alley Freeing Dobby (Remember, it's for the suit. ) Cool topic!
  24. Sorry for bumping this, I just wanted to update the topic. The bus has been ordered, and should be here around Christmas. (I ordered it on December 2nd, the last day for before Chritmas LDD orders.) I already have the windows, headlights, and staircase, so it should not take long to build. Oh, and another thing! I have Mideval Market Village and am hopeing to get Diagon Alley as soon as it comes out on January 1st. So, as a teaser, here are the pictures I have assembled. The assembled buildings with my 2007 train station. The town map and statistics. The only things I don't have are Diagon Alley and a RC Railroad switch (left). Sorry if it's to big, I didn't think anone could read it if it wasn't that big. (The words blur at smaller sizes.)
  25. Thank you eveyone who replied. I have no plans of building this in real life, sorry. (They don't make some suits in the colors I chose, such as the Classic space suit, and the open vest.) Apart from those suits, it could be done. Also, the red /white VW van was chosen because I don't have a white old VW Beetle model. The other car (the black one) is actually a MOC. It just so happens there is a black car in the background on the right hand side of the actual album cover. I was just lucky in using a model that looks somewhat correct. And fianlly, the speed limit is a little high, but it was the best I could find. By the way: It's really odd that I was listening to John Lennon's song "Imagine" when I read lightningtiger's post about the 30th Avniversary of John Lennon's death... scary huh?
