    Death Star 2 is a great display set I would quite like to see a highly detailed lightsaber as a UCS set...........would be a nice change from a ship...

    Got around 10,000 pieces now......still got all those damn tiles to get tho......

    As I own a 10179 I do not feel the justification to purchase this......the interior is nice, if you are going to play with it............Almost all will use this as a display model. Is its footprint much larger than the 10179 or is it similar in size? Like others seem to have done, selling my falcon would be the only way to justify this purchase but I just couldn't.............It was a long and emotional bricklink journey putting the old girl together.......

    You will probably find that you will have to buy the bricks from multiple sellers.......I like to place a bricklink order every week to keep momentum going. I just keep a spreadsheet to keep on top of parts required.

    Love the pics I've been having a read through the manual and have found a few pages that jump to steps that seem too far ahead for where you are in the build? Have you encountered this yet?? I've managed to gather just over 6,000 pieces from my own spares and a couple of Bricklink orders...........looking forward to the build.
