    The original Y-Wing is my favourite and also the reason I got back into Lego. Then it would be the Imperial Shuttle and then the Tantive IV. Also a special shout out to the Tower of Orthanc…..awesome UCS set (if its even UCS) Death Star 2 also deserves an honourable mention

    I bought all of the parts over the space of a year. As others have said, once the parts were sorted it took up an enormous amount of floor space. I sorted into part type and colour, primarily into plastic cups and tubs. Even then it took time finding parts. I ordered around 5% extra common parts and did not have any parts issues. As said before, 15,000 is a Biblical amount of parts to have sitting around you!

    Hi , I've got mine displayed on its landing gear......I didn't bother building the stand. It is displayed with wings in the closed position as when they are fully open the wingspan is just incredible...….. I went for all new white parts as really wasn't happy with the older, sometimes slightly yellowed second hand parts on bricklink

    I assume all blue parts on the re-brickable page can be any colour? This would mean that there are 4700ish pieces that can be of any colour. This plus de-commissioning a few UCS sets makes this tempting...….

    Finally complete and sitting in new home (for now). Everything about the model is just incredible. The weight!!……..I plan to fit it out with fibre optics at some point...think that will really make it pop! Also it is nice to finally tidy the place after having so much Lego pieces knocking around for 4 months!

    Got most of the second top panel finished last night. The weight of the thing at this stage is just incredible. The weight of the finished model will be something special!
