  1. Wow, new Boba Fett torso looks amazing! It seem Slave I won’t be based on ESB but rather Mandalorian. Good to finally have info on this set!
  2. Is he though? He appeared in 25$ Wheelbike set in 2014 and 30$ Speeder set in 2018. 2014 set was very reasonably priced so this “grievous is expensive” argument doesn’t work in this case. LEGO just choose to overprice certain sets for some reason.
  3. Lego put those dual molded legs in many 30$ sets for batman in the past, and 10$ Spiderman mech set this year, so I can't see why they didn't put these legs in Vader set.
  4. Sanctuary II is genuinely nice smaller version of the ship. I highly doubt you could make it any better unless sets Costs 200$+. Figureswise I'm disappointed that Iron Man isn't the battle damaged Verizon when he stole infinity stones from Thanos. Captain Marvel looks very plain and boring here, needed some leg prints for sure. Thanos is a nice minifigure veriosn of a character, but definitely needed new helmet mold to make minifigure great. Also since we're getting another 50$ set do we know if it's Infinity saga one or just something random?
  5. Maul looks really nice, very accurate representation of his look from season 7 of clone wars. Hope Ahsoka gets to reuse shorter lekku piece in the set as it's more accurate than longer one.
  6. Well, it's definitely better than creepy smile face from Ep 1 they overused till now.
  7. Found some interesting details in Daily Bugle designer AMA. When asked about why so few figures get leg print, Mark said it's not financial issue, but rather space issue. "The limiting factor, isn't pure finance, it's is the same one you have at home. Space. After a while you run out of places to put your LEGO. Think of each factory having a limited amount of space (I won't go into why it's limited, read 'Brick by Brick' by David C. Robertson if you want to know what happens when LEGO didn't have limits). Every brick made, in each colour has to go into it's own box. This box needs to be stored until it's ready to be packed into the bags in the retail boxes you buy. So there are thousands of boxes. Each year some bricks stop being made and this leaves empty boxes we can fill with new bricks (or new colours of bricks at least). So each team of Designers is given a number of boxes it has the chance to fill. So let's say you want some new minifigure legs. First you mold the hips, and fill a box, then a left leg - fill a box, a right leg - fill a box. Then you stick all those parts together and fill another box in the factory. Then if we print the legs it's yet another box. But consider, if we don't print the legs then, after four non-printed legs we have saved four boxes and this means we could make a whole extra set of legs. This might mean we have a whole new character we can make." Definitely interesting development in regards to leg prints.
  8. Honestly what did you expect? Most of people here are hardcore marvel fans, and when you are a fan, you want to see something you love to be done well. And tbh this wave isn't perfect, but given quality of marvel sets in last 2-3 years, this is a step in right direction. Hopefully next year wave will be even better!
  9. Wow, Benatar is definitely the best set of this wave!!! Better exterior, spacious interior, and simply looking amazing overall! Now figures are mixed bag here, Rocket is in wrong color(should have been sand blue or dark blue torso), Mantis is ok( almost same as 2017 one without any improvements like skirt piece), Chitauri(why is he here at all?). Why no Drax or nebula though? This is clearly from end of endgame where both of them were on the ship, legos choice for Minifigures baffles me sometimes. On the positive side Star-Lord looks great(still no helmet though), Groot is a drastic improvement on 2018 one, and nice to see another Thor here. Overall Benatar is amazing, and must buy, despite some obvious flaws.
  10. Back of the box pics for Iron Monger and Wakanda ship are up as well. Shuri doesn't get cloth piece.
  11. New Benatar is awesome looking! Even though I thought it would be bigger, it still looks amazing! Highly detailed and surprisingly almost studless exterior! Star-Lord looks like he has new torso print and superman hair. Now we need more detailed pictures! Thanos is jail cell is the funniest thing I've seen today
  12. From initial rumors I expected van to be big build of the set, maybe the size of Scooby-Doo Mystery Machine, so you can fit both Antman and Wasp in front seats. The base itself is nothing special. As for future proofing new big figs, sure business wise smart, but looks ugly on Thanos.
  13. So this wave is hit and miss tbh. Positives- iron Monger is surprisingly well build mech, and kinda a highlight of the wave. Dragon Flyer is good too, but as someone already mentioned, most people will only be getting it for Shuri. Negatives- Final battle set is basically police station from 2019 just smaller! Now this is obviously a set just for minifigures, but still Luis van is too small when it should be bigger here as its important part of the movie, and why do we get another police station type build here? Would rather have bigger van and some rubble form destroyed compound. Now as for the figs they seem mostly ok, again no leg prints unless you are Iron Man seems like Legos motto for Marvel sets. No skirt for Wanda for some reason, she looks underdetailed like this. And Thanos bigfig is definitely an improvement, but also a missed opportunity. Why no prior ted arms like in 2019 set? Why did they put studs on his back and head? Head is shaped super weirdly to fit the stud on it, and kinda doesn't look like Thanos head to me, probably should have included helmetsowe can have a choice how to display Thanos. Overall an improvement over past waves, but let's be honest it's not saying much, considering Marvel sets in recent years.
  14. Yep, it looks like it did in that IW set.
  15. Pics have leaked and they are super poor quality. Can’t really make out much on them. Thanos has a stud on bald head, kinda dissapointed by it. Other than that we need better pics to something else.
  16. Wow, new Greef Karga is awesome! Updated face print, and leg print, miles better than 2020 version. Mortar trooper is fine, but that new stormtrooper helmet ruins this figure for me, wish they would go back to old helmet like they did with rebel pilot helmet.
  17. It's all about light in certain scenes. Hope we get some shots of shuttle in better light next episode so color question will finally be answered. Helmet wise I think it Lego being cheap, that's all. I think Phase 2 helmet was redesigned in 2012-13 I think, and yet they didn't include same holes as Phase 1. I mean making stupid decision all the time should be Legos motto at this point.
  18. So Bad Batch shuttle is kinda nice set. Minifigures look fine, although I don't understand why Lego refuses to make new mold for Phase 2 clone helmets tofit rangefinder pieces. I mean Hunter could have used this piece here, and they could have reused it for new version of Rex and Cody! I guess we'll only get this new mold if we get SW Cmf next year. Also , I still think shuttle itself should have been dark grey and black , better color combination than what we ended up getting. But hey maybe in EP 2 they repaint shuttle, who knows?
  19. It would have been funny if it wasn't so sad and true. Lego really screws Marvel fans with underdetailed figs and lame builds compared to what say Ninjago gets.
  20. New sets look pretty good for the most part: Temple of the endless sea is my favorite set of this wave, Wojira looks cool and final form Nya is great! Kalmaar is nice as well. Ultra stealth raider is very cool build and my second favorite build if the wave , shame that we don't get serpentine generals here though Do we have any idea on price of this wave?
  21. So Wandas new eyebrows look ridiculously when put together with that WW hairpiece Lego used for her. Either eyebrows should be darker or hairpiece done in different color.
  22. Surprisingly good new face prints for Wanda! I mean smiling expression with non powered eyes looks kinda silly, but still good enough! Torso looks accurate enough, and no leg print again is expected here? Hope she at least has skirt piece like in CW Airport battle set. Now we only have Iron Man MK85 and Thanos to leak before we see every minifig in Final battle set?
  23. A gun or knife for Bucky, web blast pieces for Spiderman, Thanos Double sword for Gamora, quad-blasters and helmet (possibly) for Star-Panther, Asgardian dagger for Lady Loki or some other weapon.
  24. In a regular set I would have agreed with you, but Lego doesn't spare any expense on molds for Cmf. I mean most of Cmf molds are 1 time use only and we never see them again.
