  1. So Shang Chi reuses Kaz face from SW. Wow, shocking twist, LEGO refuses to make accurate face for first Asian superhero. Like seriously, terrible move by LEGO.
  2. Spider-Man doesn’t need mask mold tbh. Printed mask looks fine as is. His mask is in shape of human head, ergo it’s printed minifig head. Black Panther though has much more elaborate mask, so he needs new mold more. But I’m fine with current way his mask is represented, though I wish they gave us Chadwick face print.
  3. So, we now have all summers sets . This still sounds unbelievable. Like too good to be true!!! New Benetar would be awesome for 150$, and we can get all avengers in their suits in the set!
  4. Ok, this Mcu Legacy wave sounds too good to be true! Sets based on Iron Man 1, Captain America (1 or 2?), Endgame and possibly Black Panther? Plus there's still D2c and 150$ set. Has something impossible happened? Is Lego really listening to fans? This wave just seems so surreal!
  5. He’s not one of top tier leakers out there, so I would take his statement with a big pitch of salt. Also it kinda contradicts hints from other more reliable leakers.
  6. That’s best new we as Marvel fans had in years! This would be the best thing LEGO made in years!
  7. Depends on whether you took red or blue pill.
  8. Endgame Rocket Racoon is confirmed for summer sets. This can only mean either Final Battle D2c set or regular Endgame sets. Either way this is a win for us!!!
  9. I find it curious how everyone is saying they want the one D+ set to be Wandavision. If we are getting only one D+ set this year, the most logical choice for LEGO is Falcon & Winter soldier. It much more straightforward action superhero show unlike mind bending Wandavision.
  10. You joke about this, but watch LEGO actually make it a set... Well this Shang Chi set looks awesome! I see a lot from Ninjago in the dragon build, but more sophisticated (don’t know how else to describe it). But minifigs though, I don’t know about. Pic is too blurry, but it seems to me faces are reused AGAIN, and no leg prints!!! This might be just bad picture and figs are great, so I’ll reserve my judgment till better photos.
  11. Well, you can make the argument that Endgame sets have nothing to do with the movie for the most part. Quintet while a great build and my favorite version of this vehicle only appeared in 1 scene of the movie. While Avengers compound is kinda accurate it’s really looks like City Police station with huge A on the side. Honesty I think the problem most of us have with Endagme sets is minifigs- they suck!!! Why use Quantum suits for all characters when they are only used for time travel scene?! And based on Hasbro and Funko product that were available prior to movie release, toy companies clearly had accurate costume designs for all main characters! LEGO just went easy route and reuse quantum suits for all characters. So basically LEGO is at fault here, by screwing up Endgame sets so much! They could have put more effort in those sets and we would have had something awesome, but they disappointed fans. So here we are.
  12. My thoughts exactly! I didn’t say confirmed, I said all but confirmed. There’s enough evidence to make assumption it’s something related to Endgame. Could still be something else but unlikely...
  13. So it’s all but confirmed at this point, the d2c set is Final Battle from Endgame?! If it really happens it will be first d2c/ UCS set I ever get! Curious to see if they will make accurate Thanos bigfig to fit the scene.
  14. Honestly first appearance will be better choice in my opinion. More nostalgic and not as flashy as golden figures. But who knows what LEGO will do for marvel’s anniversary.
  15. Just because polybag came out first, doesn’t mean the piece was designed for it in the first place. I mean Ant-man helmet came in dc set first, but it clearly was designed for ant man in the first place.
  16. I use it when referring to older MCU films. Legacy is similar to how LEGO brands remakes of old Ninjago sets nowadays.
  17. So we are either getting MCU Legacy sets or D2C set is related to either Endgame Or Ragnarok? I see this as an absolute win!
  18. Or even better, set should have improved golf cart with flamethrower with a sticker on a screen showing old set. That would be best selling Marvel set ever!!!
  19. So wave 2 would have spoilers scenes in them? Would be cool, but first we need to know what movie is even about.
  20. LEGO makes so many dumb decisions nowadays, I wouldn’t be surprised with bad sets and minifig selection.
  21. If we are only getting 1 Disney plus set it has to be Falcon and Winter Soldier. Easiest for LEGO to make art out of for sure. I watched all Wandavison episodes and can’t seee how they make any set based on this show to appeal to kids. Only if it’s branded 18+ they can make it work. As far as the rest go, a lot of Avengers sets! Let’s just hope they are good and aren’t based on game. But I’d rather them be based on Endgame( a man can dream). Spiderman sets are surprisingly small and not a ton of them. Weren’t we expecting them to be bigger from rumors?
  22. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. On a serious note that's great news. With CMF confirmed earlier and now advent it seems Lego is finally taking marvel license seriously. Hope we get some cool minifigs in it!
  23. I think you misread it, I mean genuine feedback from fans. And if LEGO did start design process right away, why not tell the fans something like: “Thanks for your feedback, we see that a lot of our fans really want to see 501st battlepack as a set, so we are happy to announce that due to your requests we are working on this set. We will have more info to share closer to sets release”. Instead it looks like they were deaf to this immense support for a set, and they caved in last minute, cause they were tired of reading we want 501st on every social media. To me it’s really important, but I guess not everyone thinks the same, which is fine. I think head print should resemble the actor it portrays. And think about it from designers perspective, do you really think they don’t care and just put any head they can? No LEGO tries to save a few $ and restricts them from making more accurate new prints. As far as yellow head for licensed themes go, I can’t agree, as older Sw and HP figs looks so bad with yellow faces. Honestly when LEGO first introduced flesh heads, I thought they would faze out yellow heads from non licensed themes to match. But it is what it is.
  24. Yep, the are very out of touch with fan community. The whole 501st battlepack is the embodiment of why they’re outdated and wrong. They weren’t listening for 2 years, and when they finally gave in and made it, it was best selling set SW of 2021. I mean you literally couldn’t find it on release, and it’s still difficult to find it now. It was enormous success for them, so hopefully they will learn from this precedent and improve in future, but honestly I have a lot of doubts about this.
  25. Ok here my unpopular opinion: LEGO lost their way and is consistently making dumb decisions as company. First let’s talk quality control: it doesn’t seem to exist anymore. For example they still don’t bother trying to solve issues like printing quality of white color on dark plastic ( look no further than terrible Mercy minifig head). This problem existed for at least 8-9 years still isn’t solved. So some minifigs look pale as vampires, and some super tanned. Then there’s quality in licensed series like Marvel: reusing headprints that don’t even look like the actor sometimes same face for 2 characters from same universe ( Ant-man and Spider-Man). Also they skimp on leg printing whenever they can in licensed sets! By 2012 leg print was becoming a norm for minifig, but luxury. Now it’s luxury not a norm! And don’t try saying “it’s expansive to print legs!”, it clearly makes minifigs look batter. They also have very bad community communication. They almost never listen to genuine fan feedback. Like It took 2 years of active online campaign for them to make 501st battlepack! This is something fans wanted them to make for a long time. Basically saying “here’s my money take it”. Hasbro has way better community communication, like surveys what people want to see them release in future. LEGO doesn’t have any way for us as fans to give them feedback like which set we want to see in next Star Wars wave for example. Like they could easily have 1 set in licensed line per year be fan voted! By not doing this, they are basically saying we don’t care about your opinions and don’t need your money. Phew, that’s was a long one. I just hope LEGO can improve in the future that’s all.
