I suddenly remember the hideous Marvel Transformers from Hasbro. Looking at the Transforming Batmobile makes me really wonder why they didn't came up with something like this. Anyway, fantastic MOC! Especially the idea to fold the Bat mask at the frond up to form the robot's head is neat. I also really appreciate how well it looks in both modes.

Sure! Just like with the Protoss Warrior I once built, I'll give you full credit for the original idea. But I'm also not sure when I'll tackle that project, since I also had some other MOCing ideas I want to start prior to that. Just checked again on Pick-A-Brick, and they're available there as well. Since I like that piece anyway, I'll might order a few of them some day. I'm actually not sure if I'll use your design to build Bulk or a complete original character, but even if I go for Bulk, I'll most likely alter the colours here and there anyway. Well, maybe I'll take the basic design to tackle Stormer myself - of course, I'm gonna need a good idea for him before I do so...

I agree with you Aanchir. I actually only suggested Kiina's mask since it's blue. Another alternative from the Glatorians I'd suggest for female MOCs would be Vastus' helmet, but this would be also too small regarding Ruki's scale.

Once again, I'm tempted to adopt someone else's digital MOC into a real MOC with a few changes for my own taste... XD Anyway, this Bulk looks fantastic! I'm seriously tempted to order this guy and changing the orange villian cores against available ones (aren't those armour pieces availabe in silver anyway?). I'm looking forward to your revamp of Stringer and especially Stormer.

I'd rather go with Kiina's mask for female Bio-MOCs, since the Kakau doesn't look that feminine to me (it looks rather neutral to me). But hey, you wanted a Kakau in it, and it works well with the MOC either way, so yeah... Anyway, great MOC! I really like the leg design!

In regard to the "Splitface is a combination"-topic: Splitface looked more like a Thunder/Nitroblast combination to me, but even that comes mostly because of the colours. Even the silver half doesn't look that much like Thunder.

Though he looks a bit hollow here and there (like the torso), pretty cool job. But he needs a longer chain. And a much larger hook. XD

That's really neat artwork you did there. I especially like your take on Rocka. ~_^ You should make a comic with that art style.

Huh, from my Glat (and Av-Matoran) heads is no one broken so far. But 2009 joints (usually the regular ones, but also a few hands so far) were doomed. I got the odd feeling that most of the 2008 ones are still intact (except with a few lime ones). Same goes for the joints of the first HF-wave, though I'm extremely careful with these.

Just out of curiosity, how often do the joints of the Glatoran heads actually break? Because all of my heads are still intact.

First of all: What is that so-called "Waspix piece"? Since I don't own Waspix I'm curious what kind of exclusive piece might own... I think I should check more often on this topic, since I was totally unaware of the new pics. Black Phantom looks definitely better now, and I really like his overall design. Depending on his price, odds are somewhat good that I'll get him (unlike Witch Doctor and Rocka XL). Surge and Breez are probably my favourite heroes of this wave. About the villains, I'm still unsure which I like the most. All three of them got nice pieces, though. But I still demand that new rounded armour piece (as used on Breez's shoulders) in white.

So there's actually still a chance that Hulk will get green shoulders, eh? I think I'll get Batman and Iron Man.

Thats one fine Lewa, -N13OS-. I dig really dig the leg design and the arms, but overall, this guy looks pretty sweet. Same goes for Takanuva as well.

I agree with Aanchir, this MOC looks fantastic! If I had Vapour, I'd try this MOC myself.

Since almost every thread about the 2011 summer wave of Hero Factory (a.k.a. Ah, then I misread it. I have mixed feeling about this. On one side, it's nice to get more new pieces, on the other side, I'd prefer the 2011-body armour for the Heroes. It looks more robotic than the Superheroes armour.

Just a short question: Did I somewhere read something about a new body piece?

Looks neat! I like what you've done with his shoulders. Though his hip area looks odd, maybe it's just because of the colours. Aside from that, good job!

Well, I'm also fine with azure. It's a colour TLG uses not often enough for action figures (I think the last set with turquoise ore azure I got was those Rahi lizards... darn, I forgot their name!). I think I should stop writing posts at 11 PM after work. I actually meant "insect-like" monster. But anyway, I like his design... and quite frankly, insect-like monsters are always cool. So yeah. That's the only thing that makes Toxic appealing to me. That and his black-coloured shoulder armour. EDIT: Also, am I the only one who thinks Black Phantom's face looks like a Piraka?

I must shamefully admit I haven't read all new posts, but anyway, here my thoughts about the new sets: - Heroes - First of all, no Stormer and no other white set -> Sad ZORK is sad. Breez - As already stated, looks somewhat like Samus Aran. Wich is very, very good. However, I need those parts in orange, not lime, to realize a Samus MOC. I like her design, except for the feet (simply because I never really liked the original HF feet, the way to attach the joint socket makes the ankles less poseable than in other cases). Furno - Not really a must-have for me, but he's well designed. However, I'd probably give him the 3.0 helmet. Rocka - Looks interesting, but since he's golden... nah. Surge - My favourite of the bunch so far, though I wish he would also get a few more new pieces. Evo - Looks nice, but nothing special. - Baddies - Black Phantom - Let us just hope that this is a really early prototype... Thornraxx - Looks neat, though I'm slowly get tired of mosquito-like monsters (he's already the third one in Hero Factory). But I like his design, and some of his colours (his arms are turquoise!) Splitface - If he wouldn't had those red armour thingies which were also used by Breez to give her that Samus-look, I would probably totally ignore him. But yeah, red is so far the closest thing to Samus' design. Aside from this, his design is... I don't know. But I'm not a great fan of the entire two-face theme in general. Toxic Reapa - I already got enough lime, but he looks nice so far. Jawblade - I don't like his proportions, but his head is awesome. Also, maybe he comes with new-coloured Furno blades? For now, I like the new wave. But only time (and proper reviews) will tell if I'll like them more than the 2011 lines.

Actually, I already thought that about Batman's face. XD Too bad that Batman really won't get a cape. But hey, I still got King Jayko's cape somewhere, that should do it as well. I'll cross my fingers for that. And after Lobo, we need a Marvel Vs. Capcom Line so that I can get LEGO Zero. And after that, we need... yes it will be almost impossible for LEGO to get all those licenses I want. XD

Captain America looks (aside from the head, something seems missing there...) quite good. But Hulk has still silver shoulders. ZORK not happy about weird Hulk colours! Though I'm also worried about the price tag, they're after all way more easy to bend in than Ben 10 was with Bionicle. Ben 10 looked stylewise completely different to Bionicle, but there weren't much sets to experiment with that new style (besides, all of them were blatantly overpriced). I'd actually like to see more of the Ben 10 pieces again in new colours (thus I'm happy that every once in a while a few Ben10 pieces get reused and recoloured for Hero Factory). But I still want Lobo. XD

I didn't mean that I'm thinking that LEGO won't release HF sets at all because of the Superheroes. I rather think that there might be a slightly lower number of HF sets, but yeah, that's only speculation. Well, it's not that much of a difference if you got a Five man band or a Six man band (even if the 6th member isn't a Sixth Ranger) for the story. If they really want to reduce the characters for a plot, they'd go for a trio. I personally rather suppose the currently missing 6th hero is a new character which still lacks a name and thus he isn't listed yet.

Maybe they're also cutting back on the HF sets because of the Superheroes figures. Back then in 2010 there were also only the Bionicle Stars alongside with Ben 10.
