I'm actually hoping that the "Hero Recon Team" allows you to create and purchase heroes (or maybe even villains) in colours which aren't available in the regular sets, like Mata Green or several Grey tones. But yeah, it would be a good idea if they include the HRT into the next HF-Game (although I didn't payed much attention to the games anyway). And a pink hero... that's so absurd that it could indeed work. I hope the HRT allows me to make that. XD That's for sure. Purple works pretty well with black, and with a neat colour scheme, Lego could create an amazing and sinister villain.

Ah, didn't knew that... But on the other hand, how high are the chances that the Bosses from the first Mega Man X are actually trademarks?
-
One letter is enough that Lego could make an original HF villain with that name. Armordillo would also work quite well as a desert-themed villain...

Same here. In addition, I'm quite sure the first LEGO catalogues featuring Bionicle actually referred to Gali as a male character. When I think back to that time when I realized Gali is a female character, I kinda know how all the video gamers must have felt when they finished the very first Metroid Game. And as I already said in some other topic... I agree with Aanchir that Kiina is one of the best examples for a well-designed female character. Besides, some of the other masks also work quite well for female characters, like Vastus' (in fact, when I hold the mask in my own hands, my first thought was "It would work great for a female MOC!") or Berix/Ackar's mask.

And that sounds quite good actually.

I don't know why, but Rodaka didn't look much feminine in my eyes. For some odd reason, I didn't notice the Rahkshi-Head-Boobs the first time I saw her. I think mostly because of her weird head which still confuses me.

What is that thing between the Witch Doctor and Rocka? In regards to the "Rocka is a girl"-thing: If that is true, it means Rocka XL is gonna be the She-Hulk of Hero Factory.

That's also a reason why I'm kinda angry on Hasbro. Anyway, even if Lego decides to make a licensed Action Figure-line, it would be probably a license which would also suit for a younger audience. Half Life and especially Dead Space aren't the best basis for a toy that should appeal Lego-Fans of all ages (and although I'm an AFOL, I wouldn't be fond off said themes either). More important, Licensed sets cost much more than normal sets, and I'm quite sure that's also one of the reasons why Ben 10 didn't sold so well. They had less pieces then the last Bionicle sets (or the HF sets, for that matter), but due to the license, they cost much more. I also only got Big Chill due to a nice price cut (since the Ben 10 sets do feature a few nice pieces, especially the limbs and the torso are interesting, although I hadn't MOCed with them yet). And last but not least: Shouldn't we move that thread back on-topic?

Do NOT call him Barney! Frankly, I'm not very fond of the idea of an entire wave of licensed Action Figures. Single sets would be great (although I'd rather like to see something from the many Mega Man games), but an entire wave which would replace Lego's own Action Figure line would be a little bit too much.

I got spontaneously a few ideas for bad guys: - First of all, something like Drilldozer, only with more and bigger drills. - Ant Soldier. - Mad Mole. - Monster Earthworm. - Armored Armadillo! ...Uhm... well yeah, I played some Mega Man X games in the past days really often... The Ice-theme could be crossed with something like Mountains. That's also how I came up with the Yeti-Idea (that and Mega Man X8)

Uhm... what means "adscure"? I suppose it's a typo, because LEO doesn't know that word... Anyway, firefighting was also something we hadn't seen in Bionicle, so it seems that LEGO also wants to try out new things. I wouldn't be surprised by an Underwater-wave for Hero Factory either. And by the way, that carnival idea sounds kinda odd to me, but hey, why not? It would bring us lots of interesting pieces. But it got outruled by the COWBOYS. I want Heroes riding on robohorses, YEHAAAW!
-
I'd like to see an Ice-world wave. Underwater and Desert were already pulled off in Bionicle, and heroes with mountain-climbing-gear would be quite neat. For the villians, I can imagine something like a Yeti for starters.

That's a tough pole for me... I can't even remember the Time Cruiser theme... At first, I thought Time Cruiser, mostly because of the weird look of the sets. However, after reading the recapitulation of Ninjago in the original post... I indeed thought that: However, in terms of plot-idea, both themes aren't that crazy. I admit timetravel less common as the main element of a series than fantastic Ninjas, but there are quite many cartoons which got at least one episode were the characters travel through time (usually into the past). And Ninjago is a wild mix of several fantasy/Anime clichés (Ninjas with elemental Super Powers, Evil Skeletons with crazy modern vehicles) including something that reminds me of Beyblade (which I didn't really like).

The way he holds the flamethrower reminded me of the Space Marines from Warhammer 40.000. He looks awesome!

Pretty good review, Siegfried. When it comes to female characters, TLG made a quite good job with Kiina IMO.

It was the first mask that came into my head when I thought "Gorillaface". Especially in bright grey it would work pretty good. However, you couls also try another HF 2011-head, maybe in white/blue and expend it's neck (or stomach, when in robot form) with a regular HF-Limb and gunmetal armour.
-
I'm not sure, but it seems the new joints are already available in Pick-a-Brick. They list at least two different bricks with cups, but I'm not sure which one of them is the new one.
-
I just recently checked the German Lego site, and while the Drop ship is listed among the vehicles there, it's also noted that the Dropship isn't available in Germany.
-
Hmmm... well, you could try one of Whenua's masks (his Turaga or his Toa Metru Kanohi) and put them on a black head (this also means you must build a larger head piece or redo his torso armour). But that would of course mean you have to use pieces which aren't from the HF 2.0 wave.
-
It also resembles the transformation of the original toy. Although I have to admit Nitroblasts head wouldn't be my first choice for a gorilla head... Anyway, he looks pretty cool!
-
Like the MOCs you already posted in the HF 2011 topic, this MOC is awesome. I can't wait to see more from you!

I meant the new 2010 sockets. They were introduced with the first HF wave and look slightly different from the 2008-sockets. Von Nebula, Stormer and Bulk got the old 2008-sockets, while Thunder and Xplode got the new 2010 sockets.
-
As long as he get better arms... yeah! Btw, I just noticed some of my 1.0 HF sets (Von Nebula is one of them) has the older joints, not the new 2010 sockets.
-
A snake? Hmmm... why not? Sorry but I have to get a lil' bit off-topic... I recently bought Jetbug, and he got the older sockets (like most other Jetbugs), however a few days prior to this, I bought Rotor because of a price cut and guess what... Rotor had the new 2011 sockets. Oh, another thing: I never saw the Dropship here in Germany, not even in the Lego shop.
-
There's also no indication that Rocka XL will be a Shop-exclusive like the Mata Nui Titan. Okay, since I never paid much attention to the story of Bionicle, I'm perhaps wrong about that, so...
