  1. Just like the others said, it looks fantastic. Now I'm just waiting for it to transform. XD
  2. I totally agree with you. Breez is supposed to wear battle armour, so I'm totally fine what she looks like in toy form (except for the chin of the 2.0 head, though). Besides, the current Breez does not only feature her 1.0 head and feet (which already help to make her look more feminine like the others), she also looks like Samus Aran with those bulky shoulders, and that is undeniably awesome.
  3. Pretty cool MOC, though I agree the regular version would benefit from a secondary colour. As for the head, if you happen to own two Rahkshis, you could design a head similiar to that of a Stars MOC I once built. Here's the link to the MOC itself, and here to the picture which shows the head design.
  4. Ah, I thought so. I do wonder why they didn't add some sord of shoulder armour to make his body more bulky to fit with his helmet though.
  5. Just like Kalhiki your designs reminds me of Transformers: Prime as well. Although his lower legs seem a bit too large in comparison to the rest of his proportions IMHO. But maybe I'm just saying that because I rather tend to build characters with bulkier arms, so yeah... Oh, I am the only one who noticed how BIG the armour in front of Bulk's crotch is?
  6. What an excellent idea to use all these limb pieces which I don't use for the upper arms... And very cool MOC! Although I'd maybe make the abdomen a little bit larger and/or try to separate it a bit more from the main body, it's still a fantastic build.
  7. Now THAT is The Hulk, completely with green shoulders and such. Iron Man's head looks a bit too large though.
  8. That's a fantastic MOC, Front! I'm really tempted try something similiar now. Oh btw, I didn't knew until now where that neat katana comes from. Great, now I want to buy a 29,99€ set just for 3 katanas. XD
  9. This piece could easily help covering the hollow backs of heroes and villains. I'm wondering when the new parts from the Breakout series will reach the Recon Team builder...
  10. Great work on Rocka here! I'm not sure, but I believe I already saw somewhere else a similiar hand design to yours. Speaking of the hands... where did you get the golden fingers? Another Rocka set or somewhere else?
  11. Well, in that case I have to fix my post. But that's even more awesome.
  12. Very cool MOC. The colours work very well here. Probably because they aren't keetorange, like the rest of Trasher.
  13. Once again, just when I thought "Eh, I can check Eurobricks another day." there are already new pics of the next wave's sets. XD First of all, thanks for the new pics! My thoughts so far: I really like the heroes of the summer wave (well, except for Nex, he doesn't look too appealing to me so far). Stormer is a sure buy, and I guess I'll get Bulk and Stringer as well. From the villain side, Core Hunter is my favourite of the bunch. XT4 features a few nice design ideas, but no interesting pieces. Voltix got the potential for a excellent parts pack, especially because of the multi-coloured craziness that's going on there. I have very mixed feelings about Speeda Demon. Design-wise, he looks totally awesome, and seeing the BP head in lime is also very cool. But his overall colour scheme puts me off. The bike and Speeda alone for each other look good, but together (plus all those golden bits) they don't work so well. Plus he's yet another lime green set, and on top of that, a large one. However, depending on his price, I'll might pick him up once he wents on sales. EDIT: What I almost forgot to say about Core Hunter, Stringer and Bulk... Black and silver 2.0 shields!
  14. That's good to know. Which piece did you use to attach it to his back?
  15. Don't forget that the release date in the catalogue is the German release. And in this case, it also affects the DC sets. However, it's indeed possible that the Marvel heroes will hit shelves in US around the same time, since they're probably a summer wave. Why TLG decided to release all six sets in may here still confuses me though.
  16. It almost seems the game could deserve it's very own thread... I just looked at the prelim pics of the summer wave again and I got the feeling they seem to don't have much variation when it comes to colours. Black and metallic colours are very popular among the sets, and other common colours are white, yellow and a bit blue. I hope Speeda Demon will feature also some brighter colours, like bright green or maybe even azure.
  17. I'm looking forward to see your revamp of XPlode!
  18. I agree with Front. The hunchback works fantastic for Meltdown. The Ben 10 claw on his left arm fits also pretty good. Overall, I like this MOC. Will you post updated pics of it?
  19. While I never got the first Furno, the fire blades of my Fire Lord lack the colour blending and look totally fine.
  20. I agree with you on Thornraxx, Brickthing. He is definitely one of the best sets of this wave, and he comes with azure pieces! I'm still wondering how I could dare to say that I get tired of insect-like monsters among the HF villains, especially since Thornraxx omits the necessary of the torso skeleton and comes with a great amount of cool pieces. And on top of that, he's a small-sized set.
  21. Thanks for the lovely review Brickthing. I'm still pondering about writing a review about her as well, since there are still a few things about Breez that weren't mentioned in your review. To be honest, I'm also not too fond of her colour scheme and I think Breez would had worked better with only two colours. Nevertheless, she's definitely a fantastic set. EDIT: Almost forgot to mention my opinion on the combiners. The official combiner looks pretty cool, and it also fits well with the swarm insect theme. Your combiner is also very cool, and I'd love to see instructions for some sections of it. ~_^
  22. I see... so you got the same spares as I did. I was just wondering if every sets contains the exact same spares or not, you know.
  23. Actually, I prefer humanoid builds. The vast majority of my MOCs are humanoid (although some have more than one pair of arms or legs, or I throw very often a pair of wings into the mix). But still, the official combiner looks even for a non-humanoid weird and deformed to me.
  24. First of all, I agree with SpiderSpaceman on the parts usage. I don't mind the pearly shine of the Rahkshi foot, but I have no spares in blue left. Besides, as a MOCist, Surge will sooner or later be disassembled, so I only mentioned the lack of back armour for the sake of a review. I'm actually planning to order multiples of Stormers 3.0 helmet and similiar pieces to build a unit of almost identical white knights, and I'm thinking the 2.0 shield should make a good back armour if I also get the right pieces to attach them.
  25. Thanks for the fantastic review Brickthing. Alongside with many great photos you also came up with very enjoyable text, like your interpretation of some pictures. While Splitface is an arguably clever designed villain, I'll most likely pass him unless he gets a price cut. He comes with a fair amount of interesting and useful pieces, but I don't crave red and gunmetal that much. Oh, your personal combiner of Surge and Splitface looks much better than the real deal.
