This is something that only tangentially relates to the current discussion; in a 4 pound lot of random Lego I just got my hands on I found one purple "Infinity Stone". Someone quite a number of pages back wondered if we'd be getting a reissue of those parts for the upcoming sets. I now would like to second that query. -

A number of the Disney character heads have pin holes to attach headgear. You can see Mickey's in the space set. Even Pluto has one, so we may see him with some headgear in the future (like he has in some cartoons). -

No, the prelim showed no printing on Goofy's legs. I remember discussing this at the time of the initial leak with someone who bought the previous version at a premium price. -

I quote myself. Come on, let's have some tension relieving banter. Is anyone else hoping Target will make the New Asgard set available for pre-order? -

I was wondering if someone would actually get the reference. I've stopped expecting Godot to show up, but I've enjoyed the discussion. -

It feels like we are in a Waiting For Godot moment. -
I just had a fun thought. The Ship In A Bottle Ideas set is still available, and the printed flag it uses can still currently be found on B&P ($2.09 per, in the US). Using that design for a Castle faction would be an awesome way for Lego to create a foe for the current Black Falcons. It wouldn't even be all that hard given that a great number of parts currently in production would work for it.

With the watermark it is entirely possible that there could be some changes from this image. Particularly since there is no set name on the box. Even if this is what we are getting, I'm plenty happy. I managed to place an order for some of the armor, weapons and legs from the Blacksmith set on B&P (though it hasn't shipped yet), so I can upgrade a few figs if needs be.

Was in one of the Lego aisles of Target yesterday, and a dad with two young boys came over to the Super Mario sets. The youngest was asking for Peach. I let them know that Lego hadn't made Peach yet, but that Luigi should be out in August. Lego knows what it is doing to appeal to it's core demographic with this theme.

If we get Punisher's van, we could get Micro. I never cared for him as the stereotypical fat guy behind the computer. I don't know his current comic look, but that's how I remember him from the little cut-away scenes in the 90s Spider-Man episode Punisher showed up in. -
There are a couple more characters that would make sense as the playable digital figure. Wario makes some sense. I used to have one of the Warioland games for the original Game Boy.

About Black Cat: while that hair piece is often described as overused, it works for her. About potential future comic/cartoon sets: Sony's Morbius is supposed to release next year. Lego doesn't make direct sets for Sony-verse Marvel, but those movies are obviously why Venom and Carnage got so much attention. I'm guessing Lego will do sets loosely based on the Spider-Man/Morbius storylines. That could include mostly human Morbius, man-bat Morbius, a Snipes-like Blade, a reuse of Punisher, and loads of vampire baddies. Heck, even Dracula makes sense here. -

She became Arachne (comics spoilers), though she held the name Spider-Woman for a time. -

Since we are getting Falcon Cap in the CMF, it is very likely he will have a new wing design that can fit into the bags. With such a probability, Vulture could be in the Daily Bugle. It isn't unheard of for parts developed through the CMF to land in sets that get released before the CMF. -

On the matter of Captain Carter: I'm hoping the CMF version will be a military uniform variant, and use the CMF budget to include a proper kite shield (neither triangular shield captures that). This would establish such a mold so that a later Infinity Saga legacy set can be done of TFA, particularly the rescue sequence. (And down the line Castle can have it.) I wonder if the Steve Rogers Spider-Man may give us a spider shaped shield, or (more likely) a web print variant of the convex round shield. I think Throg could be closer to the size of Gollum to get the body shape. I need a better Loki anyway, so I will definitely look for them. Monica could go either way. SWORD outfit (my preference), or 60s Geraldine with SWORD symbol pendant. We will probably see her later as Photon, but it's unlikely she'll still be in the SWORD outfit for that. -
I realized something. There is a storyline about Peter Parker's parents being part of an attempt to recreate the Super Soldier Serum. I'd have to check my Spider-Man lore, and compare it to the MCU timeline to see if it fits with the experiments on Isaiah Bradley.

My third favorite comic, of the ones I own, is a What If . . . , and I've only a moderate interest in comics. Please note, this --------------------------------------------------^ is part of the name of the series. -

Check the screenname. Not irrational, just a serious Spidey fan that cares about proper portrayal of Peter Parker's longstanding love interest. -
With the pink version of Yoshi, could a Yoshi's Island set be long behind?

A Spider-Man multiverse story, and I'm thinking Madame Web has something to do with it. But there are rumors of serious motivation changes to Molina's Doc Ock, overriding such a satisfactory story arc from his previous appearance, and that sounds like The Beyonder. He has a history of being behind a number of the Secret Wars storylines. His inclusion would also all but confirm my belief that the Ravagers' backstory is basically the Guardians of the Galaxy in the Year 3000, and it was their repeated time traveling that created the current MCU timeline, obliterating their own in the process. It would explain a lot, and pave the way for one of my favorite Marvel characters to make a MCU debut, Vance Astro(vik), aka Major Victory. Also his altered timeline version, Justice. I'm guessing Peter Parker, with that wonderful wired-for-science brain (good writing work-around), will find a tech way to get home when mystical ways don't work.
