Marvel Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion

His drool. There are some trans round plates behind the plaque, too. In the partial build image you can see some more trans parts in the mouth. -

I was hesitant because neither Brothers Brick or Brickset are covering this. I've found it now on the US site. Lego seems to have rushed the images because one of the renders has a part out of position intersecting with other parts. Spider-Man mech, back right calf, in the image where the mechs are opposite their positions from the box art. -

Unless someone can provide a link to an official reveal, I'm going to believe this is a prank. Otherwise it would be a leak that violates site rules. -
So Lego is doing the same with Speedy and Tweety as they did with Chip and Dale.

Went in search of a love interest for Porky, and came up with Petunia Pig.

Marvel Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion

There is a comics precedent for a Doc Ock mech, or at least a version of him where his badly damaged body is encased in a large armored suit that can attach to, and remotely operate, other devices. -

I really hope Cap vs Hydra is TFA, because I want this version of Cap with the kite shield. -
Disney Properties 2021 - Rumors & Discussion

The problem is that the only thing directly adjacent to the front face of the Cinderella's Castle in Disney World is a presentation stage, and the open plaza with the bronze statue of Walt and Mickey. Since the set doesn't include the rear of the castle, which is where the main thoroughfare of the Magic Kingdom is located, I doubt we'll get an adjacent set. If they do another Disney World attraction, it will probably be Starship Earth or The Tree of Life. If they do a Disneyland set, it will likely be Sleeping Beauty's Castle. -

Spaceship Earth would be a real undertaking. It would require at least 3 new molds to reproduce some of the oblique angles of the geodesic sphere. -
You are correct about the part in the video, but I think he was referring to this part.

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

When I think cyberpunk I think of the movie Hackers, which, for a live action movie, has a very anime sensibility. Eclectic, often clashing, clothing, wearable tech, and some BDSM overlap. Wildstyle from The Lego Movie falls into this vibe. From CMF Series 19, give the Mountain Biker the Video Game Champ's headgear. -
I've seen it suggested that it's Norbert from Harry Potter.

Marvel Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion

Ben Urich (no L) got fired by JJ and started his own online newspaper. Eddie Brock was on my list. Lee Kirby as well. -
I keep seeing Disney rule being bandied about, but remember this is Warner Brothers. Character pairings do make sense in this instance, particularly with the size disparity between many of the adversaries. If we get Speedy, I see him with Sylvester, since his first appearance was against him. If we get Foghorn Leghorn, then we should get Henry Hawk with him. If all we are getting is a CMF series, then we should get pairings for the dramatic play value. If Lego doesn't do this, then the series would only be good for Looney Tunes collectors.

Fake. It uses heads from a different brand that had the license.

The rumor showed up on a Lego FB group I'm a part of, I shared it here with a caution that it came from an unverifiable source. A supposed Monica fig has shown up under the usual IG # alongside a fig verified as coming from an upcoming Marvel set. -

Or we could all be wrong, and Punisher, Daredevil, and others will be featured on tiles as framed front pages hanging on the walls. -

Four hours ago lego_fulcrum posted a close-up of the New York Bulletin box from the Sanctum Sanctorum set, which has Daredevil. The New York Bulletin is the paper in the Netflix Marvel series. If the D2C is going to give us the whole roster of Netflix series characters in their comic form, that'll be a reason for me to save up for it. Of them, only Iron Fist has had a comic accurate fig. Yes, there was a Luke Cage, but he was the version from the Spider-Man Unlimited cartoon. I would really want Luke Cage in the outfit from the cover of Cage #1, (April 1992, I have it in front of me). @Scarilian, if they give us Kingpin from that show, he'd be at most the size of Axl from Nexo Knights. -
Latest impact of other themes on historic themes

The latest Professor McGonagall has leaked. The brooch has finally been well rendered, making this fig a great boon to Celtic and Vikings MOC builders. -
That's why I think Fables would go over quite well. You get your historical aesthetic, you get your fantastical adventure, and there is enough room in interpretation of the storytelling to allow for creative play. And there's enough to do this for years. If television in the late 90s (& early 2000s) can develop 12 seasons (6 of Hercules, 6 of Xena) of adventures in the mythological past, then Lego can do plenty.

I don't expect the chess pieces to be minifigure sized, but rather bigfig or larger scale. A $250 set depicting the scene in the movie could easily have Ron, Harry, and Hermione as minifigures, and the chess pieces appropriately scaled to them. For the helmet/miter on the chess pieces Lego could make it as a single mold with the head, and limit its internal use as License specific. (I have long wished Lego would release the baldric part for non-Disney license theme use.)

Lego City 2021 Rumours, information and discussion
gedren_y replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
I had no interest in that set anyway. I see the logic in pulling it, and even wonder how it got that far into production. Bad guys making explosives. There are plenty of places in the world that this would be in poor taste, if not outright offensive. -
Overthinking the vehicle thing. When it comes to Lego, it's all about the type of play. The Harry Potter set seems to be Wizard's Chess scene from the movie. Lots of large figure parts, and collapsible chess piece builds.

Netflix Marvel is the MCU. The events of the movies directly affected the series. In Ben Urich's office there is a framed front page of byline with the headline The Battle of New York. The whole reason Matt and Foggy's office space was so cheap was because of the devastation. -
Disney Properties 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
gedren_y replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think Lego has less choice in this matter than in most themes. Disney is very protective of its brands, and exerts quite a bit of control over licenses, particularly with Disney Princesses. When the primary focus is characters that fall under the Disney Princesses brand, there is a certain standard of aesthetic that companies are expected to adhere to.
