As Tarn is pretty sure Nyx will once again go for XX, he readies Lion's Heart and attacks Rogue Lion Pikeman E from the front row, praying to the Gods that he can enter his Frenzied state again. Are we targeting Pikeman C twice? WBD, is that who you asked Luke to attack cos Tanma already has him.

I would ask for 6211- Imperial Star Destroyer to give to my brother, as he had the chance to get it when it first came out and didn't. It's haunted him ever since.

So Tarn giving the Scroll and Nyx receiving it uses up both our actions? Oh well, Tarn can't use the scroll anyway do it's worth it. Tarn frowned at Atramor's words before smiling at the small Rogue as he remedied him instead of Nyx. "Gratitude, De'kra. May we all survive this one!"

"Gratitude, Nyx. It seems the Gods are intent on me suffering a fiery doom here in Dastan." Tarn gives his newly-won Scroll of Weakening to Nyx, and cannot help but smile at her comments about using it. "Skrall, Atramor,do you believe there is anyone I should target in particular?"

Tarn's annoyance at the burns constantly wracking his body was interrupted by a pink flash and the appearance of a Scroll of Weakening right before his eyes. In the calm before the storm, he calls out: "Do any Clerics or Mages wish to use this Scroll of Weakening in the coming battle? I cannot, and hope that it would be of use to us in this dire final stand."

After being consistently burned for 2 points at the start of the Quest, Tarn finally gets some SP and then gets hit with a burn effect that disregards SP! Tarn readies himself to move south wih the others under cover of the smoke bomb.

I love the hollow blade feature, it's really useful. I just wish I could transfer it to Lion's Heart along with the gems, cos that'd make it one hell of a weapon!

I loved the quest, Zeph. I thought you had a lot of fun with the characters, and gave them distinct personalities. Short and sweet is fine, I think Sandy would like to see more of these cropping up. As you say, there are plenty of epic quests around so sometimes it's nice to have a change of pace.

OOC: Following on from CMP's Special Mirror skill, if I then Remedy Atramor, it will clear all the effects, including the extra level? I would have though so, as it is a status effect. Blinking back the smoke from the XX bomb, relieved that no hero had been injured, Tarn hefts Halbaerend once again and first pours the Remedy contained in the Hollow Blade into Atramor's mouth. That accomplished, he twirls the big battle axe around in his hands and takes on XX from the front row, knowing that once again Alexandre will protect them all.

Thank you for the lovely tag, I really appreciate it. I love participating in Heroica, it's easily where I post the most on Eurobricks, and am very pleased to have been allowed to give something back as a Quest Master. It has been great playing with you all, and long may it continue!

Tarn's heart raced as he watched the willowy Battle Mage throw the XX bomb. He had been battered, scorched and seared by the XX bombs thrown previously, and hoped beyond hope that Alexandre could protect them from its terrible destructive power.

Tarn's jubliation at the success of his and his team-mates attacks is tempered by the sight of almost a dozen more enemies barrelling into the throne room. Grateful for the healing he has recieved and knowing that the Elven Knight will protect them, Tarn thinks the same as Atramor, and sees this as a good chance to put a dent in one of the enemies's heavy hitters. After his frenzy with Lion's Heart, he keeps the stolen sword in his hand and attacks Sir Lamorak from the front row with steely determination.

I have enjoyed running two "newbie" Quests and hope that the new players got a lot out of them. Certainly several have gone on to be QMs themselves, which is awesome Newbiew Quests are definitely a good idea, as they can introduce the Heroica concepts at a steady pace. Zeph, I think you are doing great in Quest#41 but are being helped by having two keen roleplayers. I always like to see that.

Tarn is a tall chap, and I do love giraffes, so, yes. A giraffe Barbarian!

Sorona was an Easter Egg that I asked Darkdragon to put in once they were in Miranda, she was never part of the quest. I thought it would be cool and with Darkdragon's amazing set building skills it looked great.

Tarn goes for Rogue Lion Commander B from the back row using Lion's Heart. He calls to the others in the throne room. "I believe Atramor's calculations are off. If we all attacked Commander D, Commander B would still get a free hit. Also if Commander D falls, your attacks will switch to Blackenord, and not Commander B. this is why I am targeting B."

Sandy only plays in Quests QMed by others.

"There are few who can match you in combat, Nyx. It is truly an honour to fight alongside you. We will take Blackenord together!"

Tarn let out a scream as he wheeled around with his battle axe, smashing all of the Chimera Guards in the area. He grinned happily at the carnage he had caused, surrounded by twitching, sparking bodies. It had been a long time since he had managed a move like that in combat, and he was pleased to see he still had it. He points Helbaerend at Lord Blackenord. "I have destroyed your infernal contraptions, now I will put an end to you!"' he calls, and attacks from the front row.

This is a real shame. How many players were you short of?

Thanks for clearing that up, CMP, that does make sense. Ignore my last post then, QMs! Tarn sighs as he once again fails with Lion's Heart, so on seeing the Chimera Guards finally catch up to them, he targets Chimera Guard C from the front row using his double-damage dealing Helbaerend battle axe.
