  1. Tarn knew from his time at the Valco monastery that the pantheon of gods on Olegaia was vast, and therefore he had not heard of the God of Purity. "Let us hope we do not encounter any Gods at the top of this pagoda!" he said, whilst aiming at the Scholar from the front row using Lion's Heart.
  2. Some good analysis there Phil. My vote went on Betty early on and she has done nothing to make me wish to change it. I think we still have a couple of people left to vote and I know it's close between Michael and Betty. I hope we can get a majority here.
  3. This is what Richard handily did for us yesterday, I will update it with what we know. Please correct me if I get anything wrong. Michael's admittance that the Amateur Thieves have to outnumber the Town throws a spanner in the works of the 'confirmed not Scum' list a little, as there could easily be several Amateur Thieves in it. We don't know if they know any more names than just their partner, so it may be that this is a way for them to reach out to each other via their soft investigation.
  4. Tarn answered his enemy. "We have defeated many of your comrades, but the Prodigal Brothers never allowed us to get a final blow. Now we know why. Rest assured,we shall defeat you, and then your brothers, and give this pagoda back to the honourable Ji Pei." He aimed at the Prodigal First Brother once again from the front row using Lion's Heart.
  5. But if the investigator couldn't get a reading on Betty, then that's something to go on. For today, what other lynch could we do that tells us something about the investigator?
  6. I'm going to vote for Betty also. Her defence is weak and the day investigator confirmed Bristol yesterday. We shall see what being uninvestigatable means, it should be a useful piece of info for us to determine people's allegience with so many neutrals around. Vote: Betty (Ferrik)
  7. The way I see it is that we shouldn't be looking to lynch Michael as he might be able to find the diamond again, or if he doesn't get it, clear another person, assuming no-one kills him first. He did bring us Bristol, which turned out to be correct, even if it appears to have cost Holly, his Amateur Thief partner, her life. I am very interested in what Betty has to say about the investigation, and also as she's not added much to this voyage so far. Being uninvestigatable (it's totally a word, shush) doesn't initially sound like she could be the Godfather, but I have read about such things before, such as during my visit to Gotham City.
  8. Tarn nods his assent of Hybros' orders and takes on Prodigal Brother from the [/b]front row[/b] with Lion's Heart.
  9. OOC: No worries Sandy, we've been at this a while, a day or so doesn't make much difference!
  10. What an incredible night at the Henrys! Well done to all the winners, and well done to everyone else too because Heroica has been such a fantastic experience for me over the last 18 months. We see such vision, craft and dedication in the quests and by the players. Also Hlin has asked to make sure that his little picture works whilst he's presenting his award. He was grumbling about 'amateurs' and talking himself up in the third person, but I think that's the gist .
  11. Most of my sets are what MOC builders on here would call vignettes. The trick, as the others have said, is to only show what the camera is looking at, and only worry about that area.
  12. Also just wanted to say I am really enjoying Quest#58. The party have a great dynamic and the bar is populated with so many wonderful characters.
  13. I think Flipz could be right about Quest#52. It finished the next morning. In fact Quest#32 would also have taken place over a day, apart from the travel to Ve'er.
  14. I voted for Bristol early on, and since then a lot of claiming has come up. Babs says that the day investigator has also confirmed Bristol, so my vote won't be changing. However, I did notice, as Richard has before me, that Jonathan was labelled a Detective when he was killed. Was he an investigator too? So many extra roles due to the larger 3rd parties, it seems. All we can do is lynch Bristol and see if she turns up a Thief, which will help get some of these other stories straight too. This cruise just gets stranger and stranger.
  15. "As much as I dislike watching others fight our battles instead of me, you are a sight to behold in full flow, Tesni!"
  16. I wouldn't say most enemies are immune to insta-kills, it tends to be the important ones. Sorrow was very effective in Quest#52 in thinning the herd. Likewise Hybros has been superb in Quest#50.
  17. This whole neutral jewel thieves thing is somewhat getting out of hand, especially if they are a faction who can convert, as it seems Michael is saying. However as long as we are using them to gain good intel, and they are working with us rather than against us, then for now it's an arrangement that suits both. I have been suspicious of Michael before, but this kind of lead is too valuable to pass up. Vote: Bristol(Peanuts)
  18. At that point they could see the writing was on the wall.
  19. Thanks for revealing this, Babs. It should take the suspicion off of me and Mary and on to other people, such as Michael, who as Bristol said, has been very quiet so far this trip and doesn't make a lot of sense when he dies say something.
  20. Tarn shakes his head and reties his ponytail. "Thank you awakening me," he said, and accepted Namrrya's shield. "This should help protect me better than my current one."
  21. Yes, for roleplay reasons I would have loved to have had the chance for Tarn to return to Dastan. Good luck with your quest though JimB! Hopefully we will see more Dastan quests in future.
  22. Tarn's elegant tied ponytail had come undone, and the water had made his hair poof out and go really frizzy, which made him angrier than taking the hit from the Winged Tiger. "This pagoda is a deathtrap!" he grumbled, trying and failing to push his hair down with one hand whilst raising Lion's Heart with the other, once again aiming to hit Winged Tiger from the front row.
  23. Tarn nodded at Hybros and grabbed the hilt of Lion's Heart forcefully, aiming at Winged Tiger from the front row.
  24. Tarn gulped as he saw the enemies in this room. He really wasn't well equipped to deal with the stronger General, but perhaps the others would be more suitable targets. "Friends, would the double damage against Flying creatures mean I should use Helbaerend, or is the Stun of Lion's Heart a better option for this difficult battle?"
  25. It does take a lot of preparation to have the sets ready for Quests. My hat is off to Sandy and the other QMs who do this on a far more regular basis than I do. Also love Crocodile "Dundee" Sandy!
