Having played in forum RPGs on another board I am used to being allowed slightly more free reign with stuff, but I do understand that that isn't the point of the Mafia School. Our idea to find the camera to see if there was any clues contained in it, for example. That was a good idea for an RPG but not suitable for a Mafia game. It's finding out those little distinctions, we are all learning as we go along.

Mafia School: Fabuland Housewives - Day One
Rumble Strike replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
When myself and Gavin got to the bakery, the camera was gone. I expect it had been taken by the Mafia. They do not want to leave incriminating evidence around, after all. I can't believe that I volunteered to get it, putting myself at risk, and now someone is using that as the basis for an accusation. It's absurd, and paints you in an even worse light than before! -

That's a bit rich, accusing me. I am just trying to help the town in whatever way I can. This is an awful situation but I am trying to be proactive, not just resigned to the situation. It's a bit late in the day for you to start accusing others. -

Gavin I am so proud of you my love, for starting us off on the voting. It takes real guts to be able to stand up for what you believe in, and to be the first to do so. However I agree that Marcus Mouse is not providing much of an alibi, as the Chief would say, so I vote to convict him. Vote Marcus Mouse (Bricks2000) -

No-one who is part of the Mafia is going to say "That's right, I'm suspicious!", unless you're brazen about it like Langston's Mafia Goon Squad. We know that statistically some of us are Mafia, I don't think that anyone has acted really suspicious yet - Hunter's in his own little world - but we must convict someone or face further problems. -

You may be on to something, Chief Brody. Perhaps the Mafia staining our lovely community are the quiet ones, hoping to go unnoticed until it's too late! -

I agree Betsy! Out of everyone I must say I think Hunter is acting very suspiciously! -

Gavin, we'll go and check out the bakery. I want to be doing something rather than standing around worrying. We'll be OK if we go together. -

But how are we going to decide? We don't even know how many of us could be Mafia. It's like a horrible nightmare! -

This is terrible, just terrible! *goes across to Gavin Gorilla to hold his hand* Although on a practical note, it's a good job we have a carpenter here to make a coffin. At least, it'll be ready once the Chief has finished investigating the body of that poor FBI agent. -
REVIEW - Cars 2 - 8424-1: Mater's Spy Zone

Gotta love Holly Shiftwell! The name is spot on for James Bond's female characters and as a LEGO er, figure, the colours definitely make her a standout. -
Very cool MOC Oky, it really looks authentic. Great work as always!

The Fastest and Funniest Star Wars Story Ever Told! Part 2
Rumble Strike replied to DarthR2-D2's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I like both of them, but agree with the consensus that the first one had a better story to tell as it was OT-based. Still, this new one did a good job, especially liked the Geonosis Arena stuff. -
That BBQ is genius! Another great review Rufus, thank you for all the time and effort you must put in to take such lovely pics.

I think the farmer's face is the Viking from series 4 of the Collectable Minifigures, which is why it's not double-sided. Nice review Final Exit!

That is a very cool boat for the money. I just wish the minifig was more exciting.

Hi buddy, I really like this review, although it's a small set you have taken some good comparison pictures and covered pretty much everything.

Yeah I think they did a fantastic job on Norrington considering he's not one of the A-list characters.

Definitely want to have a go at this Mafia thing! 1. Will you be traveling between now and June 15th? Nope. 2. Have you played a mafia game before? Nope, but I have observed them (Sandy's one in particular, as I signed up but was not chosen as part of the final 16) and played them in real life. 3. What is your favorite animal (Fabuland figure or otherwise)? Has to be the giraffe, such a majestic creature, then the hippo, cute yet deadly! -
That's a really lovely MOC, you did a great job as it's very authentic to the scene.
