I agree with you Calabar, Please change the topic. And good idea for "natural" colours for final image of image #2. It not optimize yet, should be higher quality and less steps. I found another usage of rendering mask technique. To make wash out style instruction. LEGO 4000007 ldd instructions render test 2 Ole Kirk's House by bbqqq1, on Flickr

1) Create groups for every building steps manually. 2) Set camera angle. 3) Hide them all. 4) Use delete tool, one click to delete "bricks" of 1st hidden group in group tab (do NOT delete the group itself). Then undo, only the first group(step) will be unhide. 5)Take screenshot. 6) Use paint tool to recolor the group with just one click. 4.1) Delete 2nd... repeat 4)~6) until finish.

For some simple set, only one picture is enough as a building instruction. (flickr original pic size 2048x1536) Just found LPub version by canon03 for download here (pdf 10 pages), the builds are exactly same. So both of them should be exactly same as the official one. http://www.bricksetf...ft-instructions lego duck 2011 building instruction by bbqqq1, on Flickr

AR Augmented Reality LEGO

Thanks, 'legolijntje'. It was too late last night when I made that, so I post the tutorial this morning. ipad: Get e-drawings APP (1.99 USD), open any 3d sample model, press [AR] then [get marker] button to send the marker e-mail to yourself. Print the marker to A4 paper. Try AR with sample model. PC: Download and install eDrawings Publisher (free). Open your 3d model then save as edrawig format (*.eprt ). Then attache it to e-mail and send to youself. ipad: Open the attachment with e-drawings APP. This is fake but funny. -
Thanks Calabar. You are right, I didn't noticed that all decorations are missing. Have to manual apply decorations and missing parts/minifigs to make this pallette more sync to my real bricks collection in real world. For "more than one part for the same brick" is beacese that I have exactry those quantity of that bricks in real world. The rebrickable auto-sum and LDD manager auto-generate them. Just input all set numbers that I own. If I delete them all then the pallette become like this. For example it show all type of plates and correct quantity I have in real world. I use rebrickable.com 's my real sets list -> parts list -> LDD Manager to make this my real bricks pallette (very quick, copy & paste once only). Then got more than 80% complete pallette. Maybe it is because the LDD Manager doesn't support minifigs yet. Thanks Superkalle, for make this very useful LDD Manager! Lego LDD my real parts pallette test by bbqqq1, on Flickr
