I had a theory about the movie, I'll share it with spoiler tags...

I would second that, but if it was that vehicle it would need Hera, Sabine, Chopper, Zeb and the Mon Calamari guy. Especially since Zeb and Chopper have been in only one set. I do hope they make that set with those figures at some point, but I doubt it would be the Ahsoka set.

Outstanding!

But where are the portion pieces in the Encounter On Jakku set?

Tydirium or Transporter. Tydirium is a classic and the transporter comes with 7 figures and is nicer than you would expect. -

So, I want to build the 10195 Republic Dropship, make my own MOD/MOC of it. I'm not committed to the original color. I open to suggestions for a re-color. Instead of white with blue, I was thinking green with blue, orange with blue or yellow with blue. If anybody has an idea of what they think would look good, I'm all ears. Or, if it would be easier to find the pieces in white? Or what color would it be easiest to find for the majority of the pieces, outside of gray or light gray. I might also make some minor changes and add more weaponry. Thanks for any input or ideas! -

@Kman860: The US LEGO website and my local LEGO store had it in stock before Christmas. It's been "sold out" for the last few months. I don't think the website had it listed as "retired product" until March 1st. I got one from Amazon at normal retail price at the beginning of November. -

I don't know if anybody has seen this or posted this but the 10188 Death Star is officially retired. No April Fool's joke. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Death-Star-10188 -
Blade Wing or a yellow TIE fighter would be great!

The "A" sticker from the 75087 set was a comedy of errors for me. As I said before, I completely botched the stickers the first time, including the long white stripes sticker on the nose. That one I got off center the first time, pulled it off, cut off the negative blue space all the way down to get rid of the crimped areas and reapplied it. It was centered, but over time it started peeling. I ordered a replacement sheet and nailed all the stickers perfectly. The original "A" sticker was slightly off center and hanging off the edge. After I put on the new one, I noticed an air bubble at the blank end. I had a "I've made a huge mistake moment when I used my fingernail to try to push it out and scratched the sticker badly. I peeled that end up and cut it off, but the cut wasn't straight and my anal retentiveness got the best of me and I kept peeling and cutting until a I ran out of room and it was crimped again. I retrieved the old sticker from the sheet, I put the old ones on the new sticker sheet when I replace them and give the old ones to my son to use. The old "A" sticker was fine, so I cut the crimped end off and re-applied it. I noticed an air bubble... I walked away, took a deep breath and left it alone.

The TIE Advanced Prototype Microfighter and I called LEGO customer service to order some replacement torsos. After discovering that my Wicket had a crack in the side and getting a replacement from LEGO, I did a quality check on the rest of my collection. I had a misprinting on the head of my Chopper droid figure and I had 7 cracked torsos. I had a replacement on hand for one, but I still had to order the other 6 and the Chopper head. Zeb, FO Crew Member, Lighthouse Keeper from Scooby Do set, Riddler, Wonder Woman and the Anakin from the 75087 set. That one in particular had a major crack which was so bad the arm was barely hanging on. Need to get another set of those.

This was the set that brought me out of the dark ages and the second one I put together. Oddly, I had no trouble with the orange circles. But, I did put the engine stickers in the wrong place. I put the light gray one on the dark gray piece and the dark gray one on the light gray piece. This is on my list to fix. They should honestly give you a spare set of stickers in every set. If it's cheaper or most cost efficient to do stickers instead of printed pieces, then give us extra. I got that one and I messed up the stickers that go on the vertical wings. I had no trouble with the others and I was able to do the canopy stickers with patience. The sticker on the top hatch of the 75083 AT-DP I've messed up twice. I've centered it both times, it's just been turned a little bit each time. You could sell those if you don't want them. The very first set I did when I came out of my dark ages was the most recent Snowspeeder 75049. I didn't look at the instructions very closely and guessed on which sticker went on the pilot console. I used the gray and orange sticker that goes on the 1 x 2 gray tile on the outside. I had to peel it off and it got crimped at the corner, so I cut off the negative gray space and it looked better. I didn't line up any of the stickers very well, so that one is next up for me to fix.

Is there a sticker that you have trouble with? A set of stickers? The stickers for particular set? Have you re-done any stickers on your sets and still messed them up? Do you cut off the negative space on a sticker that matches the color of the LEGO piece its applied to if you have to re-place it and crimp the corners? Just thought it would be interesting topic. Mine would be the stickers for the 75087 Anakin's Custom Jedi Starfighter aka the Azure Angel. I completely botched the stickers the first time and finally got around to re-doing them. My sticker nemesis is the "A" sticker from 75087. It may be the easiest one in the set, but it's given me the most problems.

[MOD] UCS Slave 1 (anti-droop/bend when on stand)
JPN366 replied to ArchieNov's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Did the Mixel joint MOD, but I had to do it differently. I had already done the anti droop MOD from the OP. And, with the changes you make to the back of the panels with the weapons that pop out, you can't do the Mixel joint MOD the way @GallardoLU proposes. I used his brace idea, reversed the joints and didn't use any of the plates on the joints. I added some grills above the cockpit seat. I hated the gap between the cockpit and the loading ramp, where you can see all the way through to the back, so I added a platform. I connected a 4 x 6 (or a 4 x 8) plate to the 1 x 10 plate from the brace in @GallardoLU's MOD. Added one of those 4 x 4 corner plates to make it a little longer, a 1 x 2 brick with a 1 x 2 clip piece, one of those handle/blaster/gun pieces and a 1 x 2 slope with a control panel print. I'm going to add that Aurebesh 2 x 2 printed tile with a bracket piece as well. -
Ordered several sticker sheets to re-do some of the stickers I messed up. Ordered some parts to do modifications to My UCS Slave I, the Mixel joint MOD and the anti droop MOD. I'm also working on a platform to fill the gap between the cockpit and the loading ramp with control panels and some minor cockpit additions. Ordered a net to add on to Rey's Speeder. Ordered some lightsaber blades for my son. Some black pieces to add to my all black B-Wing to replace the dark gray pieces I used on certain areas. Ordered three 41st Elite Corps Trooper minifigures. I have three and I wanted a few more. And I picked up another Empire battle pack for my son for Easter and I bought another Senate Commando Trooper battle pack for myself. I love the little blue guys.

Done. I'll post a picture of the guys eating around the table once I get the parts. I also ordered 4 forks for each of them. The Chinese food containers should have been part of the set to begin with. -

At least with the 1 x 1 x 1 corner, it gives a 50% appearance of the 4 open lids of a Chinese food container. http://www.brickowl.com/catalog/lego-panel-1-x-1-x-1-corner-with-rounded-corners-6231
