Isn't the FO General supposed to be at TRU in the US?

Went to my local LEGO store and got there before they unlocked the doors. Not many people waiting, so I didn't have to hurry to the register to get Revan. Got the Hovertank and I got a Revan. They also threw in a free Ultimate Lavaria NEXO Knights figure pack. The AT-ST box is very small by the way.

Went to the LEGO store, got the Hovertank and Revan. Was there when they opened, only a few other people were there. Also got a free Ultimate Lavaria NEXO Knights figure pack. I thought it was funny how compact the box is for the AT-ST.

I hate that there isn't much ESB stuff. That is my favorite Star Wars movie. Every time I see the box of a set based on it, I smile. Looking at the Slave I or Hoth or the Carbon Chamber, it gives me good feels. LEGO is really overdue to revisit that movie. We need Dagobah scenes, Cloud City scenes and badly need a new Bespin Lando.

I'm just glad the Revan promo isn't a hoax. That's what I was thinking when I first saw it. I think I'll go to my local LEGO store when they open next Friday morning and get 1 or 2 sets, probably the tank and the AT-ST or hopefully the TIE Striker. My wife will probably want the Advent Calender.

That works for me, looked good the first time, will look good again with new figures.

I'm curious what the color scheme will be.

TRU had it for 20% off two weeks ago. I grabbed one as soon as I saw that.

Final Duel is on deep clearance at most retailers, so I assume LEGO is trying to clear out stock. Still overpriced as a "kit" though.

This one particular Walmart near my work had it for $9, and for a long period of time too. So I bought it without hesitation at that price back in June. I bought one last year and scavenged and ordered parts and stickers to build a second one a few months ago. It's sold out completely everywhere in the US, so that was my only option to have a second one. Cheers! I got it at the end of June and paid full price. Make sure to have the product page pulled up on your phone or if you have the Walmart app, look it up on there. That way the cashier can match the online price. I would recommend to everyone to have the Walmart app on your phone. You can set it to look at specific stores and sometimes you can find huge deals at certain locations. I have mine set to look at the Walmart near my work and for some reason, they slash the prices deep on LEGO sets periodically. They had a huge clearance on FA sets and buildable figures a few weeks ago, 50% off or more. Also the Target, Toys R Us and the Amazon apps are useful if you check them frequently for deals.

I'd say go ahead and get the A-Wing vs. TIE Advanced. If you are in the US, it's on sale on Walmart.com for 20% off and they will match prices in store or you can do store pickup if you purchase online if you want to save on shipping. I have it and built it. It's a fun build and there are some interesting techniques used. The black pieces that go on the inside of the TIE wings go together almost like a puzzle to create the shape. If you wait until Christmas for the Rogue One sets, you'll know which ones have issues or which ones need modifications ahead of time.

@Captain Nemo: Yeah, I saw that listed at 20% off on the website last weekend and immediately went to my TRU and got it. Great price for that set, I posted in two threads about it to let everyone know.

Maybe since we are getting a new desert skiff, then maybe an updated Jabba sailbarge or updated Jabba's palace is in the cards for 2018?

@Lewi85: Get the Sandcrawler, it's more expensive, has more stuff and won't be around as long. That's what I'm wanting for Christmas.

Seems like they would give a retirement notice if it was indeed retiring though. I think the Death Star was sold out late last year, then they had it in stock again, then it retired. I think they didn't do a retirement notice on that one because they were planning the re-release.
