Is it possible that the UCS Sandcrawler will still be available at Christmas? @daivader: Get Tydirium first since it has been out the longest. But do get both. -
@JekPorkchops: I paid for it. I think 50 or 60 cents US. I've tried asking LEGO customer service for replacement stickers and it was a no go. I'm a perfectionist, so I have re-done many stickers on many sets. Some I have completely re-done. The "A" sticker on the Azure Angel I have done 3 times. I don't like crimped corners on stickers, so I don't try to pull them off if I did them wrong or crooked. Unless a sticker has negative space that isn't necessary and I can cut it off, then I'll try to pull it off and reapply it. In regards to the Resistance Transporter, I managed just fine on most of the square and rectangular stickers, the vertical wing stickers and the canopy stickers were off center. They really should give you an extra sticker sheet in each set. My next set to re-do is the Mystery Machine. The stickers are centered right, my wife just kept removing them and the corners are crimped and peeling. I had to re-do the entire Naboo Starfighter for the same reason.

@Wil348: I ordered a second sticker sheet to re-do the canopy stickers and the vertical wing stickers. They were difficult.
-
@Kman860: Picked that up too, need to build it though. Got Encounter on Jakku and ordered the Kylo Ren buildable figure.

It can only be used on one regularly priced item.

You can get the TIE on sale in the US at Amazon or Walmart for $56. -
Using it on that or the AT-TE or the CTT brings them down to or closer to the 10 cents per part ratio. The other 4 sets it takes them way under. But I agree with you, the A-Wing/TIE is more palatable at $72. But 20% off the AT-TE is hard to pass up. I would have a hard time choosing between the two.
-
That way too. I have one of those TRU 20% off coupons. Trying to think of a way to convince the wife to use it on one of the new sets, Too bad TRU doesn't carry the Hoth set. 20% off that would be $200 even.

I think 75146 is this year's Advent calender.
-
If you want Captain Rex's AT-TE, that's $96. The CTT, that's $88. The TIE vs. A-Wing, that's $72. The X-Wing, that's $64. Jakku, that's $48. Star Scavenger, that's $40. Eclipse Fighter, that's $24. Or if you want something else, the regular price times 0.20.

[MOD] UCS Slave 1 (anti-droop/bend when on stand)
JPN366 replied to ArchieNov's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Yep, only one connection point. That makes the MOD from the original post even more important. -
It can definitely function as a squadron X-Wing. You can throw the generic pilot from the black and orange X-Wing in there or you can put Snap Wexley in there if you have the microfighter. That gives it value in my eyes even with already owning the black and orange one. At least get one, it is retired. Or grab all of them, keep one and sell the rest on eBay for a profit.

Found a random Battle of Saleucami set at Walmart, still sealed, a little shelf wear. Only $11.

When does the Ghost Rider/Spider Man set come out in the United States? -
@Nokturn: The biggest mistake on the TIE fighter is the lack of spokes on the inside of the wings and the lack of a rotating cannon under the cockpit.

I don't think there is a piece that would work for that. I like what I did though and I will do the same on the gray and blue X-Wing. Although, there is one frustrating difference with the new one. Black and orange uses this piece... http://www.brickowl.com/catalog/lego-slope-curved-top-2-x-2-x-1-with-dimples-44675-63277 Gray and blue uses this piece... http://www.brickowl.com/catalog/lego-medium-stone-gray-slope-curved-top-2-x-2-x-1-30602 The black one fits snuggly, whereas the gray one has a lip which sticks out. So, the gray one has to be raised by a plate thickness. -

Yeah, I got the set today and checked the part codes and they are sand blue. Which is a rare color, so I'll have to see what I can find to MOD it. I'm going to do what I did to the black and orange X-Wing, finish the engine covers, add some extra pieces and improve the wing cannons. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=117243 -
Got the CTT, Eclipse Fighter and Resistance X-Wing.

Can someone confirm if the two shades of blue used in the Resistance X-Wing 75149 are regular blue and medium azure? Need to know so I can make changes to it when I get it. -
Was at Walmart, saw a General Grievious buildable figure exiled to a clearance area. The box was fine except for a spot on the front where tape or something sticky had ripped off a small area of box art. Scanned it at the price checker... $9. Bought it.
-
A Walmart near my work had the X-Wing and AT-TE in stock, but the bar code wouldn't scan at the aisle price checker. I wish there was some way to convince an employee to sell them to me for $40 and $60.

@TitanArch: I've actually seen it more at both places near me. Not so much at Target.
