[MOC] Toyota Hilux 1985
paave replied to paave's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
That's why I built it the way it's built. I build what I want and the way I want. That's it. And everyone is free to do the same, until there's official regulation Whatever my reaction is, you started being offensive Really? No way... I was just explaining why I've chosen exactly Hilux -
[MOC] Toyota Hilux 1985

Because I don't have to? As a good designer I use the best decisions for my creations. Coincidences are common, you are not the first to use those. Also you made 234144154 versions of the Hilux in this scale with different design decisions, which means it's impossible now to create a proper original model. And surely I don't want to downgrade my MOC just to avoid coincidences Really? 2x 3L liftarms connected together? Okay, I used that in my 911 long before your Toyota. Put credits!!!! It was inspired by the BTTF movie truck I can agree my creation is not the most original. Still it's at least 75% unique with the 100% original chassis and I don't feel I should refer to anything On the Instagram you already said like "couldn't you do better? looks like low quality fake". If it's so bad, why do you even care about it at all... -

[TC27] Airport Stair Truck
paave replied to paave's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thank you -
Here's my thing! Airport Stair Truck Features: - Boom raise - Opening tailgate - Platform extension - Platform levering - Scissors stairs (always 90°) - Working outriggers - 4l-engine - Working steering wheel + HOG - Opening doors - Opening engine bay Video: More pics: Here's the reference pic: I could not put the boom - stair extension to the model scale, it would be too massive. I added 1 more pneumatic cylinder to stabilize the platform, because it's relatively heavy, and it bends down. Also I had to add boom stand, because there's angle limit for boom when it's down and for better HOG control as well. Generally, the model is quite robust and all works well Instruction: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-193893/paave/airport-stair-truck

[MOC] Ferrari F40 1:12
paave replied to paave's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
You gotta find them! I didn't do pop-up, because the panels fit perfectly, and generally for me that's much better for the look, than a mess of micro panels/connectors -
My next creation: Ferrari F40 1:12 Features: - 1+N+R gearbox - Independent suspension - Opening doors, bonnet, trunk - Working V8 engine - HOG-steering - Modular construction Video: Model info: - Size: 16L x 17,4W x 10,6H, cm - Weight: 992,4 g - Parts: 1433 Notes: - Transmission may crackle. This is caused by 8 teeth gears and a little hard suspension + drive parts. I am too lazy to rebuild it now - Front wheels may touch the body while steering cause of wheels and suspension backlash. I suppose it's impossible to fix More pictures: Instruction: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-190464/paave/ferrari-f40-1-12

[MOC] Mechanical Grader
paave replied to paave's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thanks! I wanted to put the actuator to the ripper as well, but it didn’t fit. With these actuators it’s not really playable in general, and this was not the main point for me- 13 replies

Hi, instruction available here: https://boosty.to/paave/posts/74b4436d-55fd-4e28-bdcb-3c89c011ee0e -
Hello!! Long time no MOCs - and here it is: GAZ-21 Volga Model info: - Size: 34L x 15W x 14H, cm - Weight: 682g Features: - 2-speed gearbox with column shifter - Independent front suspension - Leaf spring rear suspension - Working 4l-engine - Working steering wheel - Opening doors, bonnet, trunk - Modular construction - Folding front seat - Moving wipers - Moving sun visors - Opening glove compartment Video: The main feature there is the gearbox shifter mounted near the steering wheel. I haven't seen it in Technic models before. So it became a challenge. Turned out simple: More pictures: Instruction: https://boosty.to/paave/posts/7339c02e-2476-4aac-9178-4c76b1fd4c45 Partlist: https://bricksafe.com/pages/paave/gaz-21-volga
