  1. Yet another awesome build LJ! The colourscheme is very nice, I love all the earth-shades, while the green makes for a varation. Thee technique of the vines is also very cool
  2. as people have said before, this is a very neat build! my favoured part is the window, though the furniture is also very nice. If I may give you a tip: (though it counts for both LDD and real life images, it is especially important for LDD) try to get the image occuppy as much of the image as possible. We're nothing with a grey border, we like to see details just my 2 cents
  3. It's not you, it's the time of the year. Christmas and hollidays keep people busy, and these who aren't doing that are sqeezing everything out of the CCC. I admit that LDD usually gets less attention than real bricks, but not that less... Just keep building on!
  4. Thanks, that means a lot coming from the inventor of the technique! A bit less studs wouldn't have hurted, as you say. Thank you sir!
  5. Thank you en_zoo! Thank you sir! I really like this style, so you can expect some more half-timbered-tudor-styled houses from me!
  6. Thanks man! The woodwrok turned out pretty well, but you don't want to know how much trouble it was! Thank you sir! It's me a pleasure to work together with you! Thank you SK! At first, Shadowmere was totally black, but I decided it needed a bit of colour Skavenport turned out pretty well I think, but it was such a pain in the megablocks, I won't do it again!
  7. Did I mention that the clothing-holders are absolutely awesome? Are they a variation on the sword-holders you have used?
  8. Even withouth a concave roof, this is really awesome! My favoured technique must be the off-setted corners, these are really nice!
  9. Your base is awesome, as always, while the style of the tower reminds me of the last LEGO-pirate line! Nice job overall
  10. Nice ship! Though you say the waves don't come through, I think are awesome!
  11. well, we're glad you're back man!
  12. Ever since I saw the jaw-dropping opening of the first episode of the first season, I was wondering when someone would translat eiut into LEGO. You did an absolutely awesome job on it, I think Fort Black is my favoured. Or Kingslanding. Or...
  13. O'm not sure wether you should have changed the colours. I like it as is, it's a pretty impressive tree! The amount of plant pieces is also really cool, but maybe some other shades of green would bring it more to life?
  14. Chapter I Chapter II On yet another sunny day (that is, on a not so gloomy day. We're in Nocturnus after all), Alric was following Gal Turok's back. Because the weather seemed to be holding, that shitty piece of goblin wanted to make a ride. A ride! While his lands were being pillaged by wandering Drow, mist Turok wanted to make a ride. Gal Turok: Hey, Alric! Where are you man? I want to show you something. Alric, who's horse had stopped so he could easier think, spurred it hastily and tried to catch up with the Goblin leader, all the while trying to appear not hasty at all. Alric: Is there anything? That would surprise, in this middle of no- Gal Turok: Yes, ther's something. Look ahead of you. What do you see? Alric: Well... Nothing, actually. Why are you asking such strange que- Gal Turok: Exactly. This is what rest of the Nocturnian peasantry. So would you stop whining about your poor farmers. Be glad you have farmers left! Mutters unders his breath: Silly hippie. --------------- Thanks for looking, again CC very welcome! I hope you enjoyed the little story, and maybe Blufiji and I will add some chapters. Or maybe not, I don't like Gal Turok's "silly hippie" I need to thank @Blufiji for support by the last, say, five MOCs or so? This one is completely based on his style (though the cottage-technique is by Soccerkid6).
  15. Previous chapter On another sunny day (that is, on a not so gloomy day. We're in Nocturnus after all), Alric hasted himself to Gal Turok's offic (that is, a dark hole in the ever darker keep). This time though, the darkness fitted his mood. Now he had received a letter, and he'd tell that poor goblin who the boss is! Gal Turok: Ha, Alric. I did not expect you. Is ther anything? Alric: Well, actually, I... Euh... Let's say I wanted to - Gal Turok: Just say it man. I have others things to do then listening to Avalonian jabber. Alric: Yeah, now you say it, it is actually Avalonia I wanted to talk about. You know, I have received a letter from my wife, my love, my honey, my - Gal Turok: Oh, you mean that letter? I really couldn't stand to read it, man! How many words for "love you" do Avalonians need? Alric: He! The letters with my honey-ponny, that is: my wife, are - Gal Turok: Now stop interrupting me, damned! You wanted to talk about the Drow or not? Alric: Actually, I do. They are stealing our cattle, burning our houses, killing our men, raping our women and enslaving our children! They hung my favoured fool, how dared they? Gal Turok, trying to the best of his abilty not to laugh: Yup. How dared they. ---------- Thanks for looking, CC very welcome! Tudor-techniques by ZCerberus. I'm glad this got finally posted, it was my entry into the CBC (duel category). Also special thanks to @Mark of Falworth for organising that. More images on my Flickr.
  16. On a sunny day (that is, on a not so gloomy day. We're in Nocturnus after all), Alric hasted himself to Gal Turok's offic (that is, a dark hole in the ever darker keep). The goblin leader had summoned hime immediatly. Gal Turok: Ha. Alric. You're late. Alric: I'm sor- Gal Turok: I've important news. Today, letters have reached me from the other leaders of the Resistance. Alric: Why didn't you tell me it was important? (In fact, Gal Turok had stated it was important, but Alric tried bravely to save his face.) Gal Turok: I did tell you it was important. (So much for saving one's face.) First of all, a rider form the city of Shadowmere. Though the Spire does not yet dare to attack Lord Vladivius's keep itself, the rider told me they need to fend off scouts or foraging parties regularly. Alric: But that's horrible! What are we go- Gal Turok: Could you please stop interrupting me? A raven has also reached me from Skavenport. Lord Isentooth has the same problem as Lord Vladivius, but worse. Yesterday, he had to fend off a lost orc-regiment. Though no treath, these annoyances keep him busy, so the Spire has time to search that mystical helmett. ------------ Thanks for looking, CC very appreciated! Credit for the Shadowmere design go to @Lord Vladivus, and for the Skavenport design to @Jacob Nion. Also an overall thanks to @Blufiji. Bonus shot:

  18. This is just... sooooo gorgeous! Both story and build got me stunned!
  19. The build is as always ery cool, but what is really getting me excited is the son of the High King Bring on that new challenge!
  20. Though the tower is nice, the best part of this build is the really cool colourscheme! Great job!
  21. This is one of the best siege-engines I have seen to date! It is tall, as fits a siege tower, and the woodwork is spot on! Keep up the good work!
  22. I had seenand admired this build multiple times on your Flickr, but to see it with a story makes it only better. Awesome job!
  23. Collaboration's for the win! I'd love to participate, but unfortunately my time is a bit limited, because... ...of another collab!!! That does however mean you can start expecting some big things!
