Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation
YellowCorvette replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'm really hoping for a proper Doomsday bigfig through. The BvS sets are pretty good but the absence of the main villain (kinda) in the BvS sets lineup just makes me a little bit dissatisfied. -
What're your favorite and least favorite Star Wars sets?
YellowCorvette replied to Loco de Lego's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I through that Palpatine's Shuttle, Darth Maul's head is ugly, and the Podracer bucket is a abomination. This is until I saw this set. -
Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
YellowCorvette replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The closest thing I can think of is 75104 Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle, 75060 Slave 1 and any of the previous Slave 1 (Except for Jango's and the 1999 version) -
If Bionicle G2 continued into 2017
YellowCorvette replied to Takanuinuva's topic in LEGO Action Figures
This is a pretty good idea (Althrough I prefer the "Ekimu is evil" idea) and would have end the story better although it's rushed. For me, if Bionicle continue to 2017 I would like to see a proper Makuta set with a actual MoUP or even better....... a D2C Bionicle set (Something as great like the UCS sets), althrough the D2C Bionicle set idea is a little bit too far. -
This is the 2 things I always want from G2: 1. A proper Makuta set 2. An actual MoUP But now, with the early discontinuation of Bionicle G2, now what I and the other fans want is impossible and what I can do now is : *Sit aside and crying out loud*

This is kinda shocking, but not too surprising. Unlike G1 where we actually get a proper ending and conclusion, how G2 will end leaves more bad taste in my mouth. I didn't join the discussions in this board that much, but I brought some of the G2 sets like Skull Warrior and Lewa 2015, and I like both of the sets. The problem I have with G2 in general is the story and poor advertising. I can still appreciate TLG for bringing G2 back and designing some good sets for Bionicle fans to enjoy and having the fans something to talk about. I will miss Bionicle G2, but not so much like the others in this board.

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
YellowCorvette replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm not too sure what to think about the new hairpiece for Han yet, because something about the new hairpiece just looks "off" to me. But, I can still appreciate the effort to design a much more accurate hairpiece for Han, since the classic male hairpiece is been used for Han for more than 10 years, and it isn't that accurate. -
Minifig Review: Ahsoka from set 75158
YellowCorvette replied to DarthTwoShedsJackson's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Wait!? Some of the pictures shows Ahsoka comes with Trans-blue light sabers, then suddenly Ahsoka comes with Trans Medium Blue lightsabers!? Seriously, this is kinda confusing for me. The minifigure is fine for me, but the biggest problem I have with the minifigure is even LEGO just give Ahsoka dark grey arms and dark orange hands; that would make the minifigure looks much more better and accurate. -
(WIP LDD) Building a larger StarScavenger
YellowCorvette replied to YellowCorvette's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Now the front section is almost completed! There's 2 different versions of the front cockpit section. StarScavenger (Bigger) Completed front (Ver 2) by Armstrong X-Wing, on Flickr The version at the above is the first version. The side guns has a spring-loaded shooter intergrated and a narrower cockpit space. The side bridges section is a little bit rough. StarScavenger (Bigger) Completed front (Ver 2) by Armstrong X-Wing, on Flickr Now this is the second version. The side guns looks more accurate to the real ship but no play features intergrated, the side bridge sections is smoother and the cockpit space is wider. Which one looks better and any suggestion? -
LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
YellowCorvette replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Wow, finally something to talk about! Can't wait to see how the rumored set with Qui Gon, Obi-Wan and Darth Maul will turn out to be. The Microfighters, lando set and battle-packs sounds good too. -
(WIP LDD) Building a larger StarScavenger
YellowCorvette replied to YellowCorvette's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks for the comments, very appreciate it! The Technic structure of the side of the cockpit is only for temporary connection to the side bridges of the cockpit. here's the newest progress by far: Building a larger StarScavenger by Armstrong X-Wing, on Flickr The side bridges is now connected to the cockpit, and this isn't the final version. I plan to shaping the side bridges first and slowly make it smoother after i finish the general shaping of the ship. -
The MOC looks pretty cool! Anyway, the easiest way to adding friction to the balljoints I can think off is by adding this part (http://brickset.com/parts/6106472) to the balljoints. You can use ratcheted joints from the Exo-Force sets or adding a additional balljoint support like in several Bionicle and Hero Factory Titan sets.

Unique, but........ rubbish. 60042 High Speed Police Chase

I wonder how that rig thing can be consider as an "oil rig" with that kind of size. 75145 Eclipse Fighter

Anyone is watching the Freemakers Adventures TV series? After watching the series, I kinda like the design of the StarScavenger in the show. Unfortunetly TLG's representation of the ship kinda failed to did the real thing justice. 75147 is way too small and the set is too flimsy to been played with. So now, I started to build the StarScavenger in LDD, but larger. I started with the cockpit: Building a bigger StarScavenger by Armstrong X-Wing, on Flickr Building a bigger StarScavenger by Armstrong X-Wing, on Flickr The original set has a 6 stud wide cockpit (4 stud wide for the cockpit interior), and my version has a 8 stud wide cockpit (6 stud wide for the cockpit interior). Any suggestion?

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
YellowCorvette replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think that they're talking about what hair piece should TLG give for Han Solo in the new Death Star set. -
LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures Discussion
YellowCorvette replied to TheBrickPal's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Just started to watch the show, and it's much better than I expected . I'm now looking forward how Episode 8 would turn out! -
I may been the only one here and this may seems like a controversial idea, but I'll like to see a larger and more detailed version of the Starscavenger from the Freemakers TV show. I just started to watch the show and I kinda like the design of the craft, but I did think that the current set didn't really did justice to the real thing that well.

I never like Ninjago, but however some of the sets are pretty good and I can understand why people like them. But Chima? I never like them and set designs are getting worse. It's 2016 by now and I can still seeing some Chima sets from 2013 is sitting on the shelves in the nearest shopping mall from my house! Even with a 50 - 60% discount, nobody seems to want to get the sets either.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
YellowCorvette replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Joker's lowrider looks pretty interesting to me, but there's no way I'll pay $50 for it . I not sure what to think about the Batmobile yet. The build is awesome and the minifigures is cool, but there's something that didn't feel Batman-ish on the Batmobile. -
I may been the only one, but I actually like the mini turret in the FO battle pack. Sure it isn't the best build, but the turret looks way better than most of the other builds in the earlier battle packs as I can tell. I'm fine with the builds in the current battle packs (Except for that Battlefront Imperial battle-pack), but better builds in battle packs in general is always welcomed.

I think that Poe's Black One (Poe's black X-Wing's name) is a T-70 like the other X-Wings used by the Resistance. And also Forresto, The New Republic uses T-85 X-Wing (Which looks identical to the T-70 model), not T-75.

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
YellowCorvette replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The problem I have with the interior of the Combat Frigate is ther's isn't that much thing that you can do with it aside from storing the minifigures from missing. At least with the 2016 Clone Turbo Tank, you can still store the AT-RT walker included with the set inside the tank and with some modification, you can store at least 2-3 Clone Trooper minifigures in the tank. -
Am I the only one here that think the TIE interceptor is been introduced a little bit too early?
