Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
YellowCorvette replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I never get the "The set is inaccurate so it's the worst set ever!" argument, because most of the times the designers are depends on the concept art to design the sets, so it's likely that the final source will be very different from the set itself. Same thing also happens with the Iron Man 3 sets. I don't really think it's fair to judge a set like that because the designers are just designing the sets only with limited concept art pictures. -

The Rogue One sets is good, but I won't rush to buy them since I still has some other sets to collect first. But however, I would like to get the Imperial Hovertank first. I may be the only one to ask this, but why does everyone say that the TFA sets sucks compared to the Rogue One sets? -

From the pictures, it seems that the new AT-ST suffers for the same "useless leg articulation" problem with the AT-DP from last year. It's a shame, since many people are a sucker for walking-vehicles and likes to pose the walkers in walking position. -

The RO sets looks pretty good! The Imperial Hovertank and the AT-ST is my favourite among the bunch so far. Still didn't really know what to think about the other sets yet. Still good sets to get, through. -

The minifigures is pretty awesome, espiecallly Tarkin, the Death Star Troopers, Han Solo and Leia! I wonder where's the extra 200 pieces went through. Is the pieces used to improving the structure of the middle lift section to been more sturdier? -

That's why I say UCS sets "rarely" get discounts, with the UCS B-Wing as an example of a UCS get an heavy discount. I never heard any other UCS sets get heave discount after this. -

Since the bad reputation 75098 received among the casual fans and AFOLs, I think that we'll see 75098 having a discount easier than the other UCS sets, but not that easy as I can tell since UCS sets rarely get discounts, especially discount more than 40-50%. -

How it looks really leaves something to be desired...... especially the back cape/wing thing. 60128 Police Pursuit

Just bought 60128 Police Pursuit yesterday. The set itself is priced $20 instead of $25 in my country for...... some unknown reasons.

Nexo Knights wishlists
YellowCorvette replied to JurrasicPiggy's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Can't agree more about this. I think it'll be hilarious if there'll be another smaller mech set from this theme in the future that have more articulation than the bigger counterpart. (The King's Mech and the Black Knight Mech) -

A few regular civilian minifigures would be nice for the theme. I mean like, the villains can't just only attacking the heroes, right? -

I think people expecting 75159 to be a hybrid of 10143 and 10188, which is a Death Star playset like 10188 with an outer shell like 10143. The news of 75159 been a facelift version of 10188 is pretty much what CapnRex101 say about the "divided" thing. It'll be a good news for people who miss out 10188 and want an updated version while it's a dissapointing news for people who wants something new, so fan's opinion about 75159 will be mixed. -

Well,a facelift version of 10188 is pretty much what I expected for 75159. While 10188 is an excellent set, some of the build leaves something to be desired and the minifigures is extremely outdated. This one can't be as bad like 75098 through, since the new Death Star at least focusing on one thing instead of the tacked on models in 75098. -

The description didn't really matters for me unless I already see the real thing, so I didn't really know what to say about this actually. I already expected the new one to be a facelift version of the 2008 Death Star, so I didn't really get dissapointed. -
My main problem with the newer DC movies are with the bizarre tone the movie has. If seems like the studio through that the dark tone of the Dark Knight movies is what makes the movies successful, and throught that the same thing can be apply to the other DC characters. This is totally wrong. The Dark Knight movies can be dark and gritty because Batman himself is dark and gritty. The same thing can't be apply to Superman, Cyborg and Green Lantern because they aren't that kind of character.

Sounds promising. Really hyped for the Mercedes AMG and Bugatti set. Still hope for a Lamborghini, Nissan GT-R or Honda NSX (The newest version, not the classic one) through. -
LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
YellowCorvette replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Eh, I don't really know what to think about the "Just because we don't get a set for xxx for now doesn't mean it won't in the future", because LEGO sometimes has a very odd choices for sets like having a Homing Spider Droid that looks almost identical to the 2013 version released again in this year. Sometimes it may be because of the odd design of the source material (Loking at you, Asajj's Fanblade fighter). -

About the rumored Duel of the Fates set, I wish that it's something like the Palpatine Arrest set from 2012. But since the set is romored to been a winter wave set and most of the winter wave sets are smaller and cheaper than the summer wave, Something like this would have enough to me (But, also with a less ridiculous price tag like it). -
This is just awesome. The details are great and the interior is outstanding as well!
