Creator Expert 10252 Volkswagen Beetle
YellowCorvette replied to CopMike's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Finally a picture for the new Beetle, but I'm not too sure about what did I think about the Beetle yet. The new one looks better than the previous version, but some of the angles looks totally off for me (Espiecally the windscreen) ....... -

LEGO Star Wars Pricing Discussion Thread
YellowCorvette replied to Forresto's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Yeah, $110 is way too much for 75158. The Imperial Shuttle Tydirium comes with a similar piece count and it only cost $90. The set May worth the $110 price tag if the ship is big enough and the minifigures is new or comes with new molds. Unfortunately this isn't the case here.- 217 replies

Most of the 2016 Winter wave set's price tag is available at the Lego Shop official site (Depends on countries). -

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
YellowCorvette replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
^ I won't mind if some of the interior space in a set is been sacrificed for a more sturdy build. My main problem with 75158 is the price tag like most of the summer sets. Some of the users once said that the summer sets is been build smaller to appear for kids, but with the price tag I think it's the opposite: Why a parent want to buy a undersized $100 set while there's other sets that have a much better value out there? -

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors

The ship itself is ok and the set itself is good to get Chopper and Agent Kallus with his helmet (75083 is now retired, and Kallus's helmet is previously only available in that set). But the price tag? Not so much I think. -

You're not the only one. The summer sets are well designed (Even the Turbo Tank isn't that bad as the others mentioned), but the problem with the summer sets is the price tag. The Turbo Tank, Vader's TIE vs A-Wing, Rex's AT-TE, Encounter on Jakku and now the Rebel Frigate are $10 - $20 overpriced, and 75149 is even cost £10 more than 75102 in some countries like UK! This year's winter set with only 1 exception (Looking at you, 75139) are mostly fairly priced. -

I think that 75158 is undersized for the $110 price tag. Here's a picture of 75158: There's a couple of 2x2 R5 astromech head at the side of the ship, and now take a 2x2 round brick to imagine the scale. -
improvement

I expected the Quinjet in the set to be bigger before the set is released, but it's smaller than the previous version. So dissapointed. 70723 Thunder Raider

Thanks for the official set info, but why 75158 is cost $110? The set only comes with 936 parts as I remember. Like the other summer sets, this set is also overpriced. -
Am I the only one here who think that the inclusion of the Technic shooter in the set a little bit unnecessary? 7888 The Tumbler: Joker's Ice Cream surprise

I also like the black and orange color scheme on 75102. But the thing I don't understand is the price tag on 75149 in some countries. Both 75149 and 75102 has a similar part count and the main build (The X-Wing) is almost identical.
