  1. Nice figure, good to see it's truely classic. Do we know the qualifying orders to get this?
  2. The rockwork and the pathway definitely steal the show here! It's just so natural; as if you started sculpting from a solid block rather than building it up piece by piece. Hats off to you, sir! Also, perfect representation of a French chateau!
  3. Oh... they certainly had a hilt in the show! I wish they had made those! What we got compared to what we saw: From this angle you can't really see it, but the hilt has the same dragon motif as the Golden Weapons, of which - sadly - only the Dragon Sword of Fire got that motif in physical form. I'm getting a little tired of the blade discussion, so here's a link to all the currently released blade colours: http://brickset.com/parts/design-11439
  4. Oh, that's such a cute little go-kart!
  5. Very nice proceeding of your story, I enjoy your elaborate writing style! I should do a build in Boulderbogs sometime. The walls are nice, but a little plain in some places in relation to how you describe the place in your story. The ground, on the other hand, is very well done in that aspect. Nice banner design and scaffolding. Keep up the good work!
  6. Thanks guys! Glad you like the story, Faladrin! Thanks for your compliments and feedback, Gabe! Too be fair, the foreground is just a black base, for presentation only. It helps to obscure the rough edge of the actual build, mostly. It's fun to see how others can interpret it differently! The orange tree was an experiment. I wasn't really satisfied with it (not from this angle), yet I decided to stick with it because of the time I had invested in it already and the lack of bricks to do it better. But next time, it will be better!
  7. Nice build! I like the roof section quite a bit, simple but elegant. The hatch to access the stairs is a cool detail.
  8. What an exceptional shape and the scale is absolutely massive!
  9. YES!!! That's it, thanks a lot!
  10. Pretty sure it wasn't that one, sorry. It had a futuristic track in space, with loopings and boost arrows and things like that on the artwork.
  11. Don't think they can pass up this opportunity now!
  12. You could use the golden one (from the Djin Blade in Misfortune's Keep set) for Lloyd instead, since he has the golden power element.
  13. I like Drome Racers very much, added today's graphics and mechanics, I think a modern LEGO race game would be awesome! Btw, I'm almost certain that a they announced a futuristic race game, somewhere after 2012, for some special platform, maybe along the lines of LEGO Fusion, I can't remember. I've searched desperately for one and a half hour, but nothing... Anyone knows what I'm talking about?
  14. Here is a new book, found it on amazon.ca: https://www.amazon.ca/LEGO-Ninjago-Menace-Activity-Minifigure/dp/1405283238 The summer wave is split into two: a Skybound part, season 6, and a Rise of the Villains part, based on the yet unreleased season 7. We only have a preview of the latter, here.
  15. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/144722 "Griffin Knight" Just supported this, I like it quite a lot. More historical/mythical stuff for the win!
  16. Thanks for the heads-up, but please use this thread to recommend others projects next time.
  17. No elemental blade for Lloyd, he came with the Dragon Sword of Fire instead. His kimono robe version came in the first Ninjago Character Encyclopedia.
  18. Just uploaded a new episode (nr. 6) of the Exetrius Saga: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=135696 I have many characters in my head and in the brick, but now I'm actually starting to flesh them out as persons. I hope you enjoy! Nice build, MK!
  19. Exetrius Saga 1: Fallen leaf 2: Message in Kyrrath 3: Equipment upgrade 4: Subjection of a legend 5: Family Dinner Episode 6: Attack of the Hunters Exetrius was about to head home after a day of intensive magic skill training and physical activities in the hills near Carakath. Suddenly, they appeared out of nowhere, three of them, all dressed in camouflaged robes, their arms and faces wrapped in strips of grey cloth. Ice blue eyes and blinkering teeth, sharp claws and roars like those of big cats; unmistakably sabre-tooth tigre half-bloods. Fear struck him as he realized that his mana crystal was no more than a grain after his training! He fiercely hoped they were not up to something bad... Without a call of warning, one of them charged. He dodged and ran, it was his only option. Sure thing that he would loose in close combat against three wildcats! He regretted not having studied the principles of energy flow magic thoroughly. There were enough powerful spells engraved in his staff, if only he could find a source of energy... He kept running, but his muscles were starting to feel sore, they were trying to outrun his stamina. But then, a shard of energy magic theory popped up into his mind! He used the last bit of mana to activate the writer spell on his staff. (The writer spell enables the user to create another spell via hand gestures or speech, as opposed to physical writing) He uttered a very long sentence, after which the sharp edge of his staff started glowing faintly. Now he had to hold on a little longer... He could hear they were catching up to him, but it wasn't ready yet. To make matters worse, there was a dead end up ahead! They had driven him into a corner! He stopped and quickly turned around. The swing of this staff sent one of the rapiers, wielded by the front attacker, flying, into the bushes. Exetrius used the moment of confusion to prepare for the next attack. He spotted the archer just in time... He dodged the arrows and did a few steps backwards, onto the pile of rock debris that lay in front of a rock face. The front one got up and the archer switched to close combat. But were did the the third one go, and the fourth? Wait.. which fourth, his mind was fooling him! Yet, for an instant it felt like there was a fourth... He was finally ready to strike! One blow would be sufficient to activate his spell. He also localized the third enemy to his left, who had tried to sneak up on him from a vantage point. Just in time, a seat at the front row.. for the light show! Three.. two... one! The moment he charged, a female voice, coming from above, roared: "Brace yourself, it's coming!" The fourth was none other than Deliora Asagrim! However, the impact that followed was inescapable. Deliora "It's enough, Exetrius, don't harm 'em any further!" Exetrius "M'lady! What's the meaning of this!?" Deliora "Calm down, I'll explain." "I was just a little curious about the son of the incredibly powerful leader of Zotharith, the great Onicius. I've heard quite a lot of talk about you in the pubs, about your strenght.. your looks.. Purrrr. Anyway, I thought I should check you out myself. Therefore, I brought a few of my newest assassins in training to keep you entertained." Exetrius "Entertained?! Uhm, I mean, I knocked them out in the end, but.. By the way, how did you know the exact moment at which I cast my spell?" Deliora "I'm an expert in arcane magic flows, I can sense the energy levels and concentrations in my surroundings, naturally! Just as you can feel soul presences in your surroundings, isn't that right?" Exetrius "Uh, yes.. how..?" Deliora "Ha! Good luck with your training, just ask if you need my help! Let's head back, men. See you around, purrr.. Exetrius!" Exetrius "Uh.. bye, Miss Asagrim!" Was she being nice, or just mocking him? Ah heck, what was he thinking? She's probably older, certainly out of his league and, most of all, from a different species! He could use some help, though... To be continued.... in the next episode: Taking the Runestone Edit: Additional pictures: Hi everyone, I'm back! This was a challenging build due to all the odd angles. I had to revise it a couple of times, but I'm happy with the result. I put greater emphasis on action shots, story writing and character development this time. I hope you enjoyed, C&C always appreciated!
  20. The wall section is nicely covered with tiles and has fine detailing, I especially like the shooting slits. The battle scene is even better, great posing makes it all the more vivid (your crossbow solution is very creative and works well, btw) and the scrapwood siege platform is cool!
  21. This is truly a piece of eye-candy! The architecture is amazing, particularly the wooden piers. This made me realize that pillars under piers can be decorative instead of for structural support only. The building has unusual shapes and proportions, but in a very good way! The rockwork with "studs on all sides" construction is fantastic as well. Lastly, the minifigures and their activities are all great, npu on that little table with the back of a book! Amazing work!
  22. Ah.. so that's why I couldn't find the topic thread when I wanted to suggest this as one of the best GoH creations of all times, here! It's such a fantastic moc! The clouds, the griffon, the rockface, the lion head, a working elevator... It's just incredible!!!
  23. Absolutely mind-boggling builds!!! I think I like the tank the most, but well... what does that mean among so many totally awesome individual builds!
