The snow is cool, also nice troops! The images have some extra flair with the editing, I reckon, but maybe the blur on "First snow (2)" and "First snow (3)" is just a little too strong. Anyway, nice little scene!

Truly epic work, I congratulate you on this build, John! Large structures with multiple towers and varying elevation in the foundation are sure to impress, especially if they are as well-executed as this one here! One architectural feature that really stands out to me, is the beautifully decorated ascending bridge, wow! It also helps to emphasize the unusual location of this complex structure. Amazing rockwork and cool interior detail, as well!

I do agree with the critiques on the lack of elevation, but overall it's a nice build that isn't short on detail at all. The cart has a polished look, with subtle but elegant details. Nice set-up of wares, also.

No worries, it's great to express your creativity in more ways! Actually, I just thought you were still lurking around, seeing you were still occasionally faving (my) LEGO stuff over on Flickr. By the way, personally, I don't see a problem with continuing a saga that hasn't seen a new episode in a while. I encounter that situating quite often, so then I just have an episode set in the past, to bridge the gap with the present. It's up to you to decide if you feel like continuing the storyline, of course. May Historica welcome you at your return!

So, how exactly is talking about a (confirmed) name different from speculating? We can only imagine what the actual minifigure could look like.- 1,421 replies

So that will be the first good guy, non-flesh dwarf since, eh, 2009? I missed out on the Fantasy Era and LotR stuff, so I will try to obtain this one for sure ! -
Thanks a ton! Some things I noticed: The Magma Cube does have a non-spring form! The minecart track does indeed have new pieces (the brown ones) to bridge the gap between the tiles. Really interesting! The Slimes are translucent, which is a first for the mob head mould!

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

Does anyone know if the temporary closing of the services increases the regular waiting time for an order? I ordered on the 11th of December, it's the 19th now and the order status still says "In Warehouse". -
This is what the intial info looked like: 21129 Mushroom Island 21130 Nether Train 21131 Ice Towers 21132 Jungle Temple 21133 Witch House 21134 Secret Waterfall Escape The numerical order is always in line with the order of price point: lower numbers have lower prices, higher numbers have higher prices (exceptions to the rule are retail exclusives and polybags). Any full wave of sets has a couple of sets with a low price point. So, taken these two conditions into consideration: there was no reason to think the Nether Train could be a large set, you see? Also, my point is that the designers simply cannot ditch the side builds for more track. As far as play value goes: pushing a cart over a small track or pushing a cart over a large (uniform) track doesn't make a difference.
-
With the three Nether-based sets against one End-based set (not counting the End portal), I'd say an End City is to be expected, and it would make for a great large set! A challenging structure, lots of tan and lavender pieces, Banners, End rods (GitD bars), Elytra, Chorus Fruit, Shulkers, Ender Chest... so many things that could make it a superb set! One other thing I expect is a Mesa Biome set with a player-made structure. I think the Nether Railway is decently sized for its price point. Besides, tracks are repetitive, so for every bit of track that gets added, some side build type of thing has to get added to keep the set diverse. If you want more track, just build it with your own pieces, bricklink them, or buy multiples of this set. I do agree though: the Secret Waterfall Escape was underwhelming for me as well. Still I think this is a pretty good wave.

Great sigfig, @Lazer! Looking forward to your backstory! Wow! Oh, I really need to catch up on the preludes... Anyway, as promised, I delivered a build and Exetrius Saga episode: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/144720-the-exetrius-saga-12-the-ranks-are-out/ -
Exetrius Saga 1: Fallen leaf 2: Message in Kyrrath 3: Equipment upgrade 4: Subjection of a legend 5: Family Dinner 6: Attack of the Hunters 7: Taking the Runestone 8: Supplies Arrive! 9: Festival of the Ranks (part 1) 10: Festival of the Ranks (part 2) 11: Festival of the Ranks (part 3) Episode 12: The ranks are out! A month had past since the Festival of the Ranks took place. The celebration, which had fulfilled its purpose of answering the cravings for leisure of the city folk, was over. Revitalized, the people of Zotharith had slipped back into their usual, daily rhythms. The warriors and mages, on the other hand, had been less at ease, as the new rankings had not yet been established. Not all of them were able to participate in the festival's battles. Some were desperate to attract the attention of the Zotharian elite and prove their strength; recklessly accepting tasks beyond their capabilities and getting into unrequested duels with strong fighters. However, the occurrence of these events came to an end, as on this day, the new ranks were revealed. Following tradition, the 30 highest-ranked wizards and warriors were announced at the city square, by none other than Zeruko Urima. Exetrius attended the ceremony, like just about any other inhabitant of the city. Seeing the tables turn at the very top is always exciting! Afterwards, he went to the town hall, to check out the complete rankings. It turned out that he had climbed four places on the mage ranking, form 43rd to 39th, despite the fact that he hadn't won a magic combat match during the festival. He had also established a warrior rank: 121st place, which was a little underwhelming... Meanwhile, Yukino climbed an whopping 17 places, obtaining the 55th warrior rank. He went home, packed a bag, and set off for an afternoon training session in the forest, to get some piece of mind. On his way out of the city, Enzan Armafur, whom he had become friends with, caught up to him. Of course, there were important matters to discuss... Enzan Dude, have you seen Kira Derisquar today? She's hot! Exetrius Enzan, we've talked about this... But I'll tell you what's hot: the flames of my new spell, it's on fire! I'll show you in a moment. Enzan Hah, bring it on, I'll absorb them and fire them back at you and I will beat you! Exetrius Sure, I bet you can't! Afterall, I'm ranked more then ten places above you! Enzan You're pushing your luck... To be continued.... in the next episode: Taking a stand, for Nocturnus! Hi all, it's been a while since I've done a GoH build! I'm sorry that the build is unrelated to the story, but I've been wanting to physically expand the city of Zotharith, while I also really needed some story progression. This watchtower is found at the edge of the city, near the forest. More pictures can be found on my Flickr, thank you for viewing! As always, C&C appreciated!

I wasn't not talking about the torso, I was saying that the (physical) piece between the torso and legs (at the hips, if you will) is a new piece, and it looks like samurai armour. By that, I mean only hip plating, see 2. on the image below: The way I see it, it goes outward from the hips, it has three layers of scales, with a row of three silver bolts on either side printed on: For comparison, here is the new Batman belt piece: As you can see, it does not go outwards from the hips. I hope that what I mean is clear now. -
As I have said many times before: fantastic work! Some PR for GoH is definitely a great thing! As for the new logo, I will take some time to get used to it... At least it's a simpler, monochrome design that is easily editable.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 17 Rumors and Discussion

Oh my, that sounds interesting! So we have to think of a figure that: complies with TLG's policies (no religion, no violence, no drugs, etc.), is not offensive in any other way, is non-licensed, and apparently, is so unexpected, that hardly anyone has ever considered it as a possible minifigure? Wow.. Geez.... Obese Guy; Satanist; Cthulhu; Centaur; Transparant Guy; all of what comes to mind does not meet the conditions above in one way or the other. I'm blank! One guess then, just to see how far off I am : Cosplayer Guy/ Otaku- 1,421 replies

@Lazer Great to see you've come to join our Guild! For starters, here's the updated map (from some months ago) that has more locations on it, like Kyrrath and Carakath: If you (or anyone else) is interested in building in Carakath, just go ahead. It was town that appeared in my Onicius Prologue, but I don't really have plans in developing it further with builds. It's a settlement in a mountain valley, it has a small arena, but there are no further (style) restrictions. I do have elaborate ideas for my other settlement, Zotharith, though... -

@MasterofElements Thanks for the HD version! Pretty sure it's just the play of the light. It would be neat, but I don't see why they would dual mould katanas (or other swords), unless it's supposed to be special. enchanted, powerful, magical, etc. These are just cgi's, so we do not know if the heads will actually be able to turn to the side completely, but it would be really nice! I do wonder though, would a minifig head fit under the headwrap, or would that make it too fragile around the mouth (which would mean the entire head is one mould)? Anyway, Cole seems to have a brown bandana and accents, so Nya can have grey (silver?), which is nice. I don't think that's one of the new belt pieces on Nya, I think it's hip-plating of a samurai armour. The facial expressions remind me of the original ninja theme, I like that. -
