  1. I like it! It looks like Infernox's basic form, before he gets a nexo scan I like what you did with the fingers as well.
  2. To be honest, I don't see why Clay should be in there... Ava should be more visible, since she likely had a big hand in making the Rook operational. Clay seems random. However, this is still a top-notch build.
  3. But it's in the name. TLM was licensed from the start. Ninjago is likely the most (or second most) significant theme that went from licensed to non-licensed. And Ninjago definitely had to work for it. There are companies and such coming at NInjago from every direction. You don't see that with other themes. Most only have 1 or 2 other companies working with it. But not Ninjago. At least now, LEGO may put more effort into sets, since it is officially a licensed theme. And LEGO crafts those things with care. And a high price point...
  4. Yeah it sucks... Came to my attention that a ton of people are clueless about the a lot of character's abilities. So I'll put them down here: Any character with a sword can deflect lasers (including... Cole and Jay?) Cole can break cracked walls (a sad amount of people don't know this...) Bad Cop can use the purple dot scan as well. Wyldstyle isn't the only person who can jump on those pink circled spots... Geez... Zane can use boomerang switches... And super importantly, what do you do when you're bathed with too many purple studs to collect in time? Use spinjitzu! It can actually attract studs from miles away! But no one tries this...
  5. I'm just hoping that we see the ninja make remarks on their new outfits. And see the last elemental master of lightning. The Hageman brothers promised...
  6. These same visuals, have appeared in a lot of Lego game trailers. Lego Marvel Superheroes and Lego Batman 3 come to mind. It most likely is the typical TT stuff. Every game from LMSH to now has had it. I'm not counting on it. Why would they change all of a sudden? I personally despise the cutscene style they use for Lego games. It looks so... Untidy. Not only character animation, but the effects as well, like water splashes and snow drifts.
  7. Can anyone try using Legolas for vines? Since he also has daggers, presumably of a better material as well...
  8. ... Is that a good thing? Aside from the masks and the silver arms. I meant more of the torso.
  9. Kai: "A Ghostbuster? We actually could have used your help a while back." I smiled more than I should have.
  10. The monastery of spinjitzu, not the spinjitzu dojo... Comes with 3 different-looking black ninja and blacksmith Kai, plus sensei Wu. Assorted weapons. Has five rooms. One in the middle and four to the sides. Has a hidden function to spin/swing one or all the training weapons. Small mountain base as well containing the dragon stalls. Ninjago manga inside...
  11. I'm starting to think that Nya's new gi won't be featured in any sets... But that's not so bad, as I love when the old isn't converted to the new immediately (like Nya's ninja gi to airjitzu gi). I thought cole's suit was a bit lazy before, but looking closer I see that it's better than I thought. Cole's outfits always have something to do with ropes and belts like the original 2011 suit, and here, there combined with the belts from 2012! That's 2011 + 2012! However, I'd still choose any ninja suit besides Nya's repeat over Cole's outfit... Also, I don't understand why people are hating on Jay's suit, calling it empty. It's actually packed with nice details... I wasn't expecting the tv-spot to not only feature show animation, but a correct voice actor! I'm still scratching my head at every Ninjago handheld game to date, wondering why...
  12. Yup, and hopefully we'll learn more about his mom.
  13. I probably sound really weird right now, but I mean: The power one gets from nature, hence it's green and possibly golden color. And Ninjago wouldn't be without the golden weapons, which create earth, fire, ice and lightning. And the world of Ninjago = nature. The games only back this up further. Until season 5, people thought that Lloyd's power was either energy or nature, so I hope I don't sound like an debating kid or something And what I thought was that since Lloyd lost half of his powers, he only has power/energy left over... Yes! And he can go to him and talk to him about his mother! The Hageman bros said that they're saving Jay's mom for the future, this could be it!
  14. You're right about that. The only one on it's level in terms of development was year of the snakes.
  15. He didn't record it off the TV on purpose though. So may as well watermark it, I guess.
  16. Was that how they looked like in the show? I don't remember. Also, that set is a mix of tread assault + jungle raider. I personally miss the tread assault though. Good to see that Nelson will have a role in this show as well. I hope his face is new. At this point, I think it's safe to say that people are definitely wanting to see the temple grounds over the X cave, myself included...
  17. The show established that green ninja = all the ninja, explaining why he had all their powers prior to before the show nerfed him. It was also established that all 4 weapons = Ninjago. The games also describe Lloyd's element as a leaf. By nature, I don't mean plant life, I mean nature "energy", explaining the green effect. I think it was even mentioned by a few people from LEGO once. He did that so people can tell if someone stole his video.
  18. Now that I think about it, it actually may be in the Skybound continuation sets. But for the sake of minifig completion, I'll say it's from villain festival wave. As for figures, I'm thinking: 2011 ninja remix Nya Wu or Misako Skylor Cryptor Jay or Kai, since they only appear in the Stealth Raider and no where else. Hmm... Jay has a bandana and hair variant, so that either belongs in the temple grounds or the X cave. Let's assume he comes in the X cave. Where else can you get Kai? So, since all 4 original ninja but Kai are shown with 2 variants, I think bandana Kai could be in Temple grounds, hopefully with Misako, Nya, and a good villain or two (if this set is actually $20...).
  19. Excuse me? I honestly think the element wouldn't die like that. It can be like how when an avatar dies, a new one appears. But here, it's if the family dies, destiny or something like that, just has someone new born with the power. I mean, what if someone goes Japan and assassinates an entire elemental family in one night? It can't end like that, can it? Speaking of decendants, Jay's dad is Gordon, who is likely powerless. So is his mom the master of lightning? Speaking of elements, what would the purple ninja's be? There aren't a lot left to choose from. I'd say, crystal maybe? Or space/plasma/cosmic power? That's all I can think of.
  20. *mlg party* NRG Jay not only had wind power, he could also fly! So unless Jay gets his nunchucks back again, say goodbye to the wind element ( at least for a while). But let's be honest here. If the way it works is that if the element master dies with no inherits the power is gone forever, that's just silly. A lot of elements would be gone from Ninjago. Just give it a few generations. What I think is that the power simply finds a worthy vessel if this happens. Ninjago is weird. One time they all but say he controls the power of nature, then the next time, they say he controls energy/power. I think once his golden power and four elements were taken from him, he lost nature, and energy was all he had left.
  21. Yeah, they're kinda hard... But after many, many retries, I finally got everything, with the hefty reward of... Nothing! Thanks, game!
  22. It looks like the purple Ninja is going to be that one kid in the show. His legs should have healed by now... Ikr? I'm really hoping that the 2011 remix of Nya is in airjitzu temple grounds, as there's no where else for her to go. I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume Cole's scar is what will make him switch forms. Now, how could he have gotten it...
  23. That layout is okay, I guess. But I myself prefer to put my stuff on the table, pure Lego, without any cloth or backgrounds. If you could build a mini-structure or something to connect both areas, and remove repeating minifigures, it may look better. Right now, something about it is off. it looks a bit... Random. But that's just me. Maybe try adding custom-built structures to it to, spice things up? Like mini-trees, mini-shrines, etc. Things to make it feel more at home.
  24. @ing me, does not work. Normally it's quoting if you want to get my attention. What do you mean by single layer hood? Aren't all the hoods single layered? And besides, they could have just made a dual layered new 2011 mold, that resembled the original. I'm so tired of seeing the same mask, over and over...
  25. I'm really disappointed with the hoods. I was expecting multi-colored 2011 masks. Wouldn't that be cool? But nonetheless, the outfits are otherwise great. I'm disappointed that the nindroids are not white, nor do they wear optical masks. But i'll still be getting that set anyway. The bad guy builds all around look really poor. Idk why... And I do say, Chen's chair looks much better in the show and could have been represented better here. But at least we have a T-Rex to cover for that though. Cole's hands are orange with black transparent? Interesting... I guess he really is Danny Phantom.
