  1. Since Jay is the Fritz fan, I think his word goes, so that's how you say it. I was surprised to see Jay's zen suit and some season 2 photos on the wall. It looks like this season is throwback central. But those are bigger than regular shurikens, and are light blue only on the tips. It reminds me of the cryo-knives Zane had last suit. Although there was probably elemental power imbued in them (the ice trail), or just their effect. So, i'm assuming episodes 59 and 60 are available next Saturday (and Sunday?), correct?
  2. Well, looks like it's safe to visit this thread again.
  3. Eh, alight. But to me, it's just missing a quality of a true mashup. Maybe if his wasn't a pay-to-play game it would be there?
  4. But (imo) it's not bizarre in the fun way.
  5. They lied... And said it was crowded...
  6. ... *Sigh*. Well, I guess that's a relief, and a disappointment then. But I am exited to see how the Titanium Tumbler and the Airjitzu Temple grounds will look like. I'd be surprised if the Sonic Raider 2.0 looked drastically different from the original.
  7. ... I see... Speaking, they gave Hero Factory some interesting (Brain Attack) and even fun (Breakout) games, but what about Bionicle? Why is there nothing for it?
  8. I mean, the mashups mix, very poorly. Who wants to mix Chima and The Simpsons together? And I know that that's not all. But still, the mashups are in general (to me) not very interesting, while there are a few good ones.
  9. I was looking for those videos! I could never find them... But still, I myself don't think of it as a mashup, more like "put this character here. Amazing!" Especially since there were only a few decent mashups. A lot of the franchises are pretty lame.
  10. The HD version in English is definitely on Youtube right now, so check it out! This is the first time I've seen the first episodes of a season be in HD and not out of a TV with a flimsy camera. So, nice work on that! And now for my thoughts (obviously episode spoilers) Hmm, spoiler tags don't seem to work, so... be warned!! + I liked the interaction between the characters, and I was surprised the tri-thing was actually handled decently. I was surprised at how the skeletons were actually actors. I knew Samukai wouldn't go down that easily! I liked how you could see the life in the city as well, with them blending into graffiti, and traversing the roofs. I liked the animation. It looks slightly improved from last season. The visuals are great as well. I liked Nadakhan. I can tell i'll already like him this season. He's got a unique personality. _ I didn't like how Nya handled her "female ninja thing", and how she missed Misako's advice by a mile. I didn't like how all of a sudden, Dareth turns into the generic commercial guy. I didn't like how the ninja got their airjitzu gi out of nowhere, I don't like how a lot of the time, they are not shown transitioning their suits. I wanted to see the old ones... ... And, besides those nitpicks, this is definitely a solid episode. I give it a high score.
  11. Ehhhhh, there's better choices than that in my opinion. The free roam feels restricted, the characters are kinda hollow (they're only human; nothing too special to them), and some gameplay aspects are a bit discriminant in my opinion. That's a good reason, for the customization, but still, the characters felt like a mod. They were just randomly placed in other worlds. It's like nobody took notice of them. They could have at least had more communication between characters...
  12. Nope. Closest thing you have is Jestro's giant chair, or the Fotex, without it's tank wheels. Wait until the technodrome (graduation area) set is released. That's gonna look nice... Or the actual castle...
  13. That's the big point of Dimensions, and I was disappointed. You can't actually mash up the characters. The closest things you have to a "mash-up" is putting one character in another's vehicle or having specially programmed pairs interact with each other. There's no actual customization. To me, it's one of the, if not the most disappointing game/s. _ My favorite however, is definitely Lego City: Undercover. It was the most unique, and that's saying something for Lego games.
  14. Isn't it worth the wait to catch it when it hits USA? If you guys check it out now, it likely won't even have subtitles, let alone in English. And even if it does, I myself would rather wait, even if the season actually does air on March.
  15. Honestly don't even know why BB didn't do it already... Maybe they want to contain excitement? I would rather wait to get it, than to spoil myself with an in-depth review anyway.
  16. So, US sets release March, and so does the show? Ninjago seasons usually come first. So I think we can expect the season to air late February-early March, before the set wave comes. Just a random thought, but what if Nadakhan possesses Clouse? He's apparently in this season, but so far no minifig.
  17. It's been a long time since a Smash game was released. They'd probably change things up with this game if they made it. And I honestly don't know why LEGO makes their online games so lame. It's just platform, drag, on-rails, and other simplistic concepts... With their 3D games, they're more or less the same. I can't remember the last time they deviated from those concepts. Maybe it was with the final Smash game?
  18. I haven't seen anyone use actual spoilers anywhere, except the Star Wars thread And that's pretty much a spoiler of half the season. Are they really going to spend the entire season finding some venom? No. That looks like at least 3 episodes in to me.
  19. Hmm... It looks like so far, there is no one website that has all the Smash games... There's the original in one site, DX in another, etc. And there's apparently a ton of East Asian Ninjago-themed games on this one site as well...
  20. WARNING! ^ PLOT SPOILER ABOVE ^
  21. That's a good thing then. You could get a Teen Titans level pack that comes with the TT variant of Cyborg. A team pack of Raven and Beast Boy. And another team pack of Robin and Starfire. Of course, the combinations for these characters are endless, but that can be one of them. It would promote both genders equally, without isolating one for the other. This Cyborg variant would obviously have new abilities, like hover, hack, etc. But also lose a few abilities, like swim, cracked wall break (can still rip ground), etc.
  22. Yup. The reason I liked them was that for once, they had a mechanic that LEGO made that is not repetitive/simple button presses (their online and video games suffer from this). I enjoyed them for once, because they were actually hard, required some skill, and actually made me rage quit for once, not due to a glitch, but to actual game difficulty. *ahem* Wyplash *ahem* Nukal *ahem* healing skeletons Good point. Most of the games you mentioned were unique, and not the regular click/platform/on-rails game they usually put out these days. ... But hey, at least we still have The Quest For R2-D2 and The Final Battle, right?
  23. So, everything there is free? Will there be additional member things also given to players? And, how popular is the place? This sounds like a thing not much people hear about.
  24. That's what I said. Well at least, it makes very little difference to LEGO anyway. I forgot about the add-ons. Whoops I just hope the give Jay the ghost trap ability, and Nya some water powers. I also hope there will be unlockable variants added. For instance, Jay gets deepstone armor suit, Nya gets water gi, and Cyborg gets Teen Titans redesign.
  25. That ^ sounds absurd, but it may just work. Maybe bring back the gameplay of Smash, but add different enemies, and different special attacks instead of cards. For instance, they can have Airjitzu Smash, where airjitzu can have a few offensive and defensive abilities. For instance, you can send a lightning vortex to stun an enemy, or use an earth vortex to make attacks from the enemy less accurate. There would obviously be regular elemental attacks as well. All the Smash games had them. And a big yes to new characters. Not only could you play as more, it would be better in my opinion, if you could spend the XP you gather to either get cards or purchase new characters. New characters bought could come with their own little story (extra story mode levels), and their own stats for cards, etc. I remember when LEGO pumped out Smash games all the time (original, DX, Party, Creations, Viper, ZX), and I enjoyed them. In particular, original, DX and ZX. Do you want them back? Share your thoughts below.
