  1. You can't stop the signal.

  2. I know I said I wasn't coming back here, but I really felt the need to comment on this. As I've said before, the secrecy surrounding these products is ridiculous. If they wanted to prevent leaks, they should've done an official reveal a very long time ago. They even missed their opportunity at D23. The sets are officially being released in 2 weeks, and they're still trying to keep people in the dark until the day of. I genuinely cannot see how this is good marketing. Going to a midnight launch without even knowing what the products look like is insane. I'm guessing this isn't TLG's fault. The blame likely lies on Disney. Either way, this whole thing is madness. The cat is out of the bag, so to speak. Everyone who cares about these sets already have the images saved on their hard drives, and they cannot take that from us. I do respect the fact that we cannot post them here anymore, but as others have said, that will lead to users seeking them out elsewhere. Absolutely ridiculous. EDIT: Also, what are they even hiding? The sets have very minor spoilers at worst, and it's not like any of them are abysmal. IMO, they all look great, and everyone deserves a chance to see them.
  3. I will not apologize for having an opinion. It's ridiculous that we haven't gotten official images or anything at all! I stand by that. But I will apologize for the fact that I've apparently p**d everyone off just by posting here. I won't be around any longer, specifically because it's been made clear to me that nobody even cares about me or my opinion. I thought at least someone would agree with me.
  4. I genuinely don't understand why everyone here has such an aversion to my OPINION. My dilemma is for financial reasons specifically, not whether I like the sets. I'm not "throwing a fit". I'm an adult like everyone else here. I don't understand why TLG hasn't shown off these sets and I never will. I don't understand why people here seem to think that the lack of marketing is acceptable. And I certainly don't understand why you think that it's okay to attack me ad-hominem.
  5. I'm so happy that a "million or so other people" can just go out and drop hundreds of dollars on LEGO. I can't, and I'm sure there are others who are in my position. I swear, this place is just an echo chamber for defending the lack of marketing for these sets... I thought you guys were excited about this stuff? Doesn't anyone actually want to see the sets?
  6. Agreed. This only re-inforces the point that I've been trying to make for several months: TLG needs to step it up and show the September 4th sets. The last chance they have is D23. If nothing happens during that event, my interest in these sets will be completely gone, and I will not be purchasing them due to the lack of time to plan my budget.
  7. As others have said, the Bespin Carbon Freezing Chamber set is very exciting. If I had to guess, I'd say the mechanism for "freezing" Captain Solo is going to be similar to the one in the Cloud City set from 2003. Perhaps it'll be a bit fancier and more automated, but I can't see another way of doing it.
  8. That's the only reason I'm getting very impatient. Like you said, it's close to release. If the product releases were much farther away, I wouldn't be expecting pictures. I really hope something is shown at D23. They blew their chance at SDCC to show something spectacular. Hopefully they'll get it right this time. D23 is the last major event before September 4th, and I genuinely don't see why they wouldn't reveal the sets then.
  9. I couldn't disagree more. It's their responsibility as a company to provide consumers with a product. How do they expect to sell that product if they don't even market it correctly? Only a handful of people (hardcore fans) are even aware that LEGO is producing these sets. The only reason we know this is because of leaks, really. The mass majority of casual fans likely don't even know that these products are coming. The only official mention of these sets directly from TLG has been ONE teaser in a Brand Catalogue. That's not enough, honestly. They need to ramp up the marketing for both the movie and the merchandise. This isn't just a problem with the marketing for the sets. EDIT: Also, the longer they wait, the more leaks we'll get. I don't think TLG or Disney wants that. Wouldn't it make much more sense to pre-emptively release official images before the leaks happen? That way, we can see the sets as they're intended to be seen.
  10. About 2 weeks ago, I compiled every leak that we have so far in several Imgur albums. The reason I was able to do this is because I was pretty obsessive about saving ALL of the leaks we've seen for the past 3-ish months. All pictures are untouched. The main one. This contains the most prominent leaks that we have seen. (Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle, etc.) Hope you like Captain Phasma, because that's what this album contains. The most recent leak. First Order Ground Crew, Rey, and an Unkar Henchmen. Hopefully this post is okay. Just wanted to refresh everyone's memory and give everyone a chance to see these pictures.
  11. That's a good point. It would've been awesome to see the LEGO version of the Special Forces TIE Fighter alongside Hasbro's, at the very least. Either way, the wait is really getting to me. Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one who's this impatient about this type of stuff.
  12. Personally, I hate it. I need to be able to plan what I'm going to buy on the 4th. Several hundred dollars worth of LEGO can't be a "spur of the moment" purchase for me. I realize that TLG is likely under strict orders from Disney, but that still doesn't make it any less annoying that we have to rely on leaks for sets that are being released in a month. I've noticed that I'm probably alone in this opinion, but, I need to vent somehow.
  13. We don't know at this point in time. The secrecy surrounding these sets is pretty ridiculous, IMO. I hope we get more leaks soon.
  14. Where did you hear this from? If pictures actually have leaked, they're not circulating very well. I've checked every place I can think of.
  15. Not just a chance, it's completely certain at this point. Hasbro's toy confirmed that the Special Forces TIE Fighter has two seats, back to back.
  16. He actually kinda reminds me of the Bando Gora Slaves from Bounty Hunter. Non-canon now, of course. And I agree regarding Rey's hair; that moulding is incredible.
  17. That's what it looks like to me, as well. Perhaps he's an operater/gunner/technician stationed in the
  18. Basically don't embed the image in your post. Host the image on Imgur or something similar, and then post a link. I really would like to see this image as well, I'm craving new leaks.
  19. For a lot of people, (myself included) it's not just about the film. The sets can be good enough to stand on their own, and that will be what my purchase is based off of. The source material could suck and I'd still enjoy the sets. For example, I own a lot of Clone Wars sets, but I don't like the show at all.
  20. I noticed this, as well. The new Falcon seems to be FAR more accurate and visually appealing than the previous version.
  21. The sets look incredible. I'm so happy that we finally get to see them. I bet we'll see the rest of 'em soon, as well.
  22. That's a really good point. I guess I shouldn't be so upset at the lack of official reveals; everything will just get leaked eventually anyway.
  23. Pretty exciting stuff. Glad SOMEONE delivered something cool today, because LEGO sure didn't. The moulding on the TIE Pilot's helmet is fantastic.
  24. The First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter is confirmed to have two seats, as seen in That explains the piece count & price on LEGO's version. Pretty excited to see how they handle this one.
