  1. Pff, warmongering WTC profiteering from other people shooting each other!!
  2. A great idea to post another newspaper other than the "fairly" neutral KPA! That recipe is a really genuine idea and era appropriate!!! Remind me to give you a recipe for sweet wine for your next issue!
  3. Send everybody to jail! Our Gods will deem them innocent or guilty!!! P.S: That (constable?) face screaming "stop him" is really giving me the shivers! Heheheehe!
  4. Woooooooooooow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of the best microbuilds I've seen since ages!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially the sky is absolutely brilliant!!!
  5. As others have said, that building (brick profile and normal bricks really work well) and quay are really well built and I also like those strong emotions the minifig poses and faces depict!!! Needless to say we are as authoritative as we appear as a faction! Muhahahaha!
  6. @Ayrlego An excellent start! Regarding the bow section,I am with @Ragni Norgrimson on that. To eliminate that nasty gap @Flavius Gratian has observed, you can try ending up with a 2x2 beak. More often than not, it's not the most elegant solution I have seen, still you end up without that gap. Other than that, all three ships have beautiful curves!
  7. That is an really sleek gunboat and I really like that she also has a mast! Hinges ftw!! The only tiny flaw that this technique has, is that the bow has a small gap where the sides are connected but I can't think of a better way to cover it atm. Plus she is such a beauty that I really don't mind this at all! P.S: I also love the mortar!!!!
  8. Ahahahahahahahahaha! Grand scale thinking! I like it!
  9. Nice photo! And I also like that you've diversified the crew with different sailors, navigators and gun crew's clothes. Regarding classification, I am on Dee with that one, believing that all gunboats with oars (and without a sail/mast), should be class 1, regardless of factions. A gunboat is built to protect a harbor after all and cannot stand BoBS open seas simply with her oars. Still, since we are loose on the classification procedures, it's your choice should you want it to register it as class 2.
  10. Nice one! I really like that the plot gets brick built! Although I believe the jail cell has way too many windows for a ...well... jail cell
  11. @merc A nice try As Dukesc said, I would try to make the middle part more narrow ( = fewer protruding studs (one?) right and left) @Ragni Norgrimson That's a fabulous and very smartly made tumblehome , although a very part consuming one )
  12. I really like that cut out version of the crane and ofc your fully rigged ships are always a delight! I KNOW! Blame flickr for that!
  13. Yeap, that's a version I vastly prefer compared to your first one
  14. Now that's a proper and lovely gunboat! I especially like the populated version of it. Thanks for sharing as MOC instructions are always fun to watch!
  15. hey! that's a really era appropriate solution and a well built one too. Was that a real mechanism too btw?
  16. Woot! Excellent assembly and I really like that green "table" piece!
  17. A very nice and "full" MOC, coming for a really good idea As always your focused photos are spot on! It's always nice that Astrapi is growing, as it is somehow our religious hub in BoBS.
  18. A nice, sleek ship! As others have said, I also like her rigging, especially the ratlines, which coupled with the superb "messenger" figurehead, is the two features I really really really like. Only thing I don't quite like is how the main mast gets thinner midways in order to accommodate the lower mast of sail over the stern (which name is absolutely eluding me)
  19. As always, I love your buildings! Nice story too! Welcome back
  20. I love it! All those bottles, that stained glass and the light emanating from the furnace...! Great job!
  21. True! Pf... I must stop reading posts while on my mobile's screen. I keep losing details!
  22. @Drunknok Regarding your gunboat, I like how you used those profile bricks and the tiled sides but as a remark, I would like to say that you should have used (two?) more hinges to make the bow a bit more curved, instead of arrow tipped and seeing the final result on your other post, I thing your gunboat should have either had a bit more length or staying at your chosen length, it would have looked more historically accurate with a narrower profile. Seeing your (way) bigger ship in project, I am eagerly waiting for it to proceed. I especially love those dark blue curved pieces looking upwards that make a really good tumblehome! @Ragni Norgrimson Welcome matey! From what I can see, you have built yourself a really successful bow (I also like the white shark ) and we are eagerly waiting for the rest of your ship! By all means you are certainly on the right direction!
  23. A nice cottage! Colors work great and so is the cheese sloped roof. I found a hefty amount of black cheese slopes and wanted to try this style as well so I am glad you showed it to us.
  24. Great writing! Good ol' Little Hermes never fails to deliver! hehehe! ...Look guys, a mermaid! After her!!!
  25. @Capt Wolf Just PMed you some local Oleander rumours (The Eltina Courier publisher will kill me for that but apparently I was bribed by KPA)
