  1. I'm betting for Paris' Triumphal Arch as the next landmark set. Tower of Pisa would be interesting, too, but having such a tall, leaning set would be quite scary. EDIT: Read about Big Ben a few pages back - it must've slipped my mind while writing this post. Now I'm hoping TLG makes Big Ben the next landmark set
  2. Fancy red canopies.
  3. Meh, without the other brick to make a full hinge, the truck model isn't very exciting. Although, those cheese slopes, jumper plates and different SNOT bricks are very interesting (panda)...
  4. Today I started sorting the pieces from about six unbuilt modular buildings. So far I'm up to two large tubs for bricks and plates, a medium one for tiles, three smaller ones for windows / doors, textured bricks and special plates, as well as a small organizer for other, less-common bits. I also have some large tubs with bricks (aside from the modulars) sorted by color, but I still have a lot of work to do until I finish (after two weeks of motivation and six months of procrastination) sorting most of my collection.
  5. Got Rey's Speeder and modified my 7965 Millenium Falcon to make it look more like the episode 7 one (only big mod is the antenna). The Speeder is my first Force Awakens set and I didn't want it to sit by itself on a shelf.
  6. Not really, I must say it's been a very long time since we've had any of those.
  7. The use of Stormtrooper helmets is both genius and hilarious!
  8. Would be incredibly surprised if there weren't going to be at least two Hoth sets. First one would include the shield generator, ion cannon, blast doors and all the other elements we saw in the short video from the LEGO website. Second one would be 2016's Hoth Attack set.
  9. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! Hope they're good!
  10. Sand blue and sand green (among the main reasons I like Green Grocer and Pet Shop). Also purple.
  11. First time seeing a design like that. Although, it does make sense keeping the red markings from the phase II shock troopers. Not really a fan of it, reminds me too much to episode II and III clones.
  12. Wow, this looks incredibly good and well-detailed for a medium-sized build. I really like it when people add play features to their MOCs, I think most of the features are quite creative (first time I'm seeing a feature being a moving astromech droid head, well done!).
  13. Hahah, I love the use of yellow mugs as engines Cute!
  14. Ooooh... this looks very promising. Excited to see the end result! Good luck!
  15. Even if it is, in my opinion I think the back of the real thing is too complex / has too much texture in it for LEGO to deal with it by just adding one big printed piece. I know, it's also so people can open the back but, for me, a brick-built rear would have been nicer.
  16. I hate the fact that TLG simply used another printed cockpit piece for the back of the ship.
  17. This goes to show how good TIEs look when their panels are customised. Imagine a whole fleet of stolen TIEs with green, purple, red, etc. colored wings, as well as some with brick-built drawings. With that being said, I've never seen a TIE like this, and am surprised by how much I like it when I look at it. Nice job with the yellow and orange as well as the non-color-related modifications. You've made me consider customising my own 9492
  18. This is amazing, I love the amount of story and life you managed to fit in this relatively small-sized MOC. Well done!
  19. I just came by a video which mentioned the vote TLG held concerning the release of Home One, Palpatine's Arrest or Cloud City. Obviously, Home One won but Palpatine's Arrest was still released some time after. I wonder whether or not TLG will release a complete Cloud City set or decide to make different modular sets. They'll most likely design several individual sets since there are considerably more scenes taking place is Cloud City rather than in Palpatine's Arrest or Home One (this rumored "Carbon Freezing Chamber" set could be one of a couple upcoming Bespin sets).
  20. Anyone know when and how to get the C3PO polybag (how much do we have to spend)? It looks very, very nice.
  21. The Slave I shouldn't retire until a couple of years (perhaps in 2017 or 2018) since I believe it's an early-2015 set.
  22. Hopefully there will still be some advent calendars on a big sale after christmas (maybe 50% off? I wish), since the Rebel Trooper, Stormtrooper, Jawa and Ewok are four incredibly great minifigures to get in one purchase.
  23. Oh my... those black stormtroopers look incredible. Can't wait to see what TLG will come up with!
  24. Can see the TIE now. Darn, looks like the back will be simply built with a canopy and a new print. Really wanted it to be brick-built.
  25. Am I the only one seeing only the snowspeeder?
