  1. I checked the mpd. I still get some error messages like: LS11.dat not found. (also LS01, LS40 and LS41) Are these special parts, and if so where cen I find them. I added you pictures as update to many forums and also as update of my Lego Ideas entry: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/97642 Next to that I saw your pictures on clien.net but my Korean is really bad ;-). I did however notice the many responses as well as many hits from Korea on my youtube page. My question is therefore if this is your own post. If so I would have a request for you.
  2. Got it, I will post it on the other topic. Thanks for that, great job again!
  3. DrJB, I got it through mail. Great job there. Looks great in LDD Hopefully this link does work for other that want the LDD http://www.bricksafe.com/files/mfjnab/Autonomous%20Caterpillar/Autonomous_Caterpillar.lxf
  4. Oops, there goes my last potential functional purpose for the cube. :look: Luckily: Functionality is soo overrated. Let's just have some fun!!!! Great you appreciate my model. Makes the effort spend on making the partlist and instructions time well spend
  5. What TheLegoExpert might means is which file in the zip we should open in MLCad. I also struggle there. Also can you tell me where to store the special parts. It says that MLCad cannot find them (the flex-axles in specific)
  6. Cool, can you get the fight on video and share it?? Would be fun to see see the cube in action!!
  7. Would love to see pictures or video's of other build of my model. That's what compensates best for the extra work it takes to make part-list and instructions.
  8. That's going to be quite a big model. I wouls say start with the Basis Chassis, suspension, motors and steering layout and just build piece by piece from there. I did the same with my recent model. Once the wheels are there and a rigid structure inbetween holding all the motors, the rest will follow. And a small tip (if not already planned so) Print out the bottom and side view in real size with the stud-grid on it. It helps seeing and placing where everything should fit.
  9. It's a really fun little yellow car. Starting to look nicely like the original
  10. Great, really thanks for the effort of making it in LDD.  :sweet: Unfortunately the link says file is not yet public, could you check? Good observation on the wheel. It was a leftover from my attempt to also place a one-direction movement in hte head, but it didn't work good enough. It indeed is not part of the needed file. Thanks again, Martijn
  11. Oh, would I love to see my latest MOC Chromed up like that (the grill, but maybe even the whole bonnet  ) http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=107262&st=0 Rendering courtesy Jesuskyr
  12. I'm totally overwhelmed by the great responses of you all to this MOC. This really helps motivation on getting a new MOC in the air ASAP.
  13. Jesuskyr, In one word: you leave me speechless. I am more then impressed by the great visualization you made here. WOW    WOW. The model hasn't been published for a week (saturday morning I think) and you already transferred the pdf into a cad-model. I would reaaly like to get a copy of it and hope I can also use it for presentation of the model. Again, beyond my wildest expectations to see it in this state at this points. You immediately got promoted to the background of my desktop!!! Thanks, Martijn P.S. How much time doed this cost you? I would really struggle doing this myself
  14. The last entry I will be making for a while (still need to start on my next project) is about a small Tracked Cube that I designed during a long weekend. The challenge was to make it as compact as possible (but still looking cool and studless and still possible to operate well with the RC. When I posted instructions on Rebrickable I got quite positive responses so I also want to whare it with you. Looks boring at first, but the fun part is seeing it in actions. Due to the closely spaced tracks the turning speed it quite OK. Not my best video (actually my very first, hence the professional editing ) Hope you like it and when you have the parts, just build it :sweet: : http://www.rebrickab...tracked-cube-rc
  15. Agree on the price range. Should be comparable to the Crawler 9398 in part count as well as PF. Unfortunately also agree that large Technic sets dont make a lot of chance, but remember the 41999. Thats a collectors item, so I can't be blamed for not trying...
  16. Great to be here. Nice to see so many enthousiastic people and responses!
  17. Thanks you all for the compliments. As you can see I have published by Rolls Royce on Lego Ideas. Any endorsement would be highly appreciated if you like the model. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/97642
  18. I checked on Lego Ideas, and in general support for great Technic(al) models is quite bad. There should be enough Technic fans out there I would say, but they are not voting. Any ideas on how to reach them better?
  19. There already is a one-way direction wheel in the back that ensures that it does not move back a lot, but an additional one in the front proved difficult. Getting enough friction is tough anyway. DrJB, I woudld be reaaly thrilled if you could build it in LDD, I don't have the patience for that . All segement are very similar, but except 2, all are slightly different, due to the winch mechanism or the drive train. Differences are however small, basic structure is the same.
  20. Agree, always surprised on how bad most Technic(al) models score on Lego Ideas. The F40 is a "good" example. I also want to publish a Technics model soon on ideas, but hopes are low...
  21. The XL motor is already strained to the max at this speed. The gear ratio might be changed, but the whole trick was to match a single rotation of the big gear to the right amount of windings of the winch. This ratio needs to be fixed, but by adding a motor and a gear in front it could run twice as fast, but it is not recommended
  22. I want to share with you a model of a Caterpillar. Not of the yellow colored Machinery Brand but of a more natural kind. I started with the idea of the "wentelteefje" by Escher but as that proved to complex regarding the feet movement, it evolved into a more classic Caterpillar. It is operating autonomous with an XL-motor, a switch and a winch/rope mechanisms to operate it. Best way to see it's real operation it by viewing the youtube video. More information and free instructions on how to build it can be found on rebrickable: http://www.rebrickab...ous-caterpillar Hope you like the model! Martijn
  23. Agree on the tyres. I first wanted to build it using the motorcycle tire ~100mm. but then the model would have been close to 70 cm long and that was way too big. This tire is the only one suitable, but indeed still too wide. I checked it out. That's indeed a great alternative classic car. Too bad the flex angle connectors 32126 don't exist in yellow as far as I know.
  24. I have had more people making the reference to Cruella's car. Funny that the model brings up memories of this classic movie.. http://disney.wikia.com/wiki/Cruella%27s_car
