  1. That is awesome Slyowl, so many great details to take in. Love the candle stand, the cannon and the sea gull - great part usage. Reminds me of ISC "Davey Jones Locker" which is a good thing as it too was a beautiful cabin.
  2. This is a good MOC but with a few small details could be great. I like the Roman style fort, these were carried for place to place by each soldier taking a pole with them. for added realism there should be a ring of poles set at 45 degrees around the out-side of the fort topped with a cone piece or spear to stop an enemy charge. your battering ram is great! but you siege ladders should over hang the wall and be on less of an angle but thats no biggy. For a first MOC I'm very impressed, way better than my early builds and it's not something I've seen done as far as the type of fort. I expect to see some great stuff from you in future Oh and welcome to EB!
  3. Ok I had a crack at that window ....with no great success. Obviously the feathers should be yellow and of different types, but these are all I had (I did try a banana but it was a bit big). The angle can be adjusted with a different hinge but again it's all I had available. I don't know if this image helps but if you like any thing but don't know how it was done let me know. Again good luck.
  4. I'm glad to hear my MOC has had an impact and that you enjoyed it. Nice idea you have there I think using a hull section as a base would improve the over all feel of the vig, but not the sort of part every body has spares of. I hope this is just the start of your pirate mocs as I'd love to see you do a modular pirate house or Imperial fort.
  5. Ah yes I've looked at building this ship, looking good so far. I'll be following this one closely, I'll have a go at designing that window for you if you like? or at least give some inspiration for it. Good luck.
  6. Cheers for all the comments guys! @ Dreamweb: I should take a photo with just the font removed from the house as it's just jumpered to the base of the interior which can also be removed from the large base.... if that makes any sense.
  7. Nice to see an Aussie leading the way, but who else could get you through a desert alive?? Only one question where's Miss Pippin Reed? has Jonny dropped her for this Gail floosy?
  8. Great work on the fleet so far. I totaly agree that the lack of gun ports to break things up makes it hard to get a nice line, plus you are dictated to by the prefab hull as to where the lines are. By building up the hull with brown plates first you can create a more natural line with more even sections, but with so few mid-sections it's hard. Good luck
  9. This was built for Zorro and the Staff/members of Classic-Pirates because without members there would be no CP. I really went all out on this one using all sorts of techniques I had not used before. I only wish that I had more old and dark brown plates to mix it up a bit.
  10. A great Man dies, A legend is born. There will always be a spare seat in the Rum Room for Zorro. Rest in peace mate. For Zorro by Taz-Maniac, on Flickr Please do not comment on this here this tread is for Zorro, I'll post more in the Moc thread for anyone that would like to leave a comment.
  11. White pants all the way! should this be in the "Pirate MOC" section though?
  12. Cheers that's what I needed to hear At least it's not just me
  13. As the sub-title suggests is it just me or has everyone's MOCpages disappeared? All my comp entries have cracked the poos and I'm uploading again to another server Will they come back? I can't see others peoples images on MOCpages either.
  14. Wow good call Iz just had a look though and most are not titled!! I've made a point of putting my title in bold after your post as not to miss out on this great raffle. Cheers LEGO for the chance at owning an unreleased MiniFig!! And to Iz for being a team player
  15. MOCpages is Down .... my Image won't display till they get back on line.....do I have a ticket already? I'm sure I'm not the only one effected.
  16. Title: Four Fat Fish......Fresh!!
  17. well done it has a very "Blackadder " feel to it, looking forward to more .... shame about the dropped ship.
  18. My "A" is now changed! Hope you like
  19. What a great dio! has a real Call of duty feel to it with the cut away walls and floors inside the face of the building looks tops with a real battle damaged look but still in-tact enough to see all the details, plus all that Minifig action going on. Good work to both you and your friends from Polish Lug!
  20. Nice MOC there Robinson, so many nice details to take in like the construction of the little dwelling and the stair case down the cliff face. Not a huge fan of tiled water it tends to be a bit groovy ("Yeah Baby") but that's not a big deal, the colour selection is really good. Keep 'em comin'.
  21. NOOOO! please DO post yours this was a concept MOC and really only an Idea that I quickly put into bricks. I've since reworked it a few times, and would love to see someone elses version. It should have been the "Empire state building" but because I wanted to show the concept I just built a quick generic building.
