  1. You need to resize you images to be valid (800x600max). Looks great very NinjaGo! though it would be good if the red dragons mouth opened and closed. Does it open ? Have an interior ? Love'in the little mushrooms in the cave Good luck in the comp.
  2. What good is a musketeer with out a musket ? Musketeer by Taz-Maniac, on Flickr
  3. Yeah It's still getting tweaked, has a proper hole now and I'm trying to round out the side gallery and take some width from the top deck (above the cabin). The sails are going to get the Admiral Croissant treatment. Big thanks again to Admiral Croissant and Captain Green Hair for the feedback and tutorials your opinions mean a lot to me. When it's updated enough I'll re-post it.......... may take some time though.
  4. Very neat. Sadly Megabl ks hold the "Smurf" licence at the moment.......but that may change, lets hope so.
  5. What a great idea and well executed, it's a shame the water is not easy to see........ I know it's water but you know what I mean. a few drops of food colour would probably look cool but I shudder to think what it might do to your bricks. Best of luck in the comp Maniac
  6. S@H Australia has no info on free shipping with this promo.........I hope it does as our postage is a killer
  7. Yes it's a great MOC and worthy of praise, but in future could you express you enjoyment more in words and less emoti-cons please.
  8. Cheers Cutty glad you got a chuckle out of it, That's all I was aiming for.
  9. Firstly your English is great.... better than my Polish despite being a "Wisniewski". Secondly there is no need to excuse your self your creations are beautiful , and I second the sentiment of building something you like rather than conforming to win. Like the song says "You can't please everyone so you gotta please your self" Still wishing you the best of luck mate!
  10. Cheers for the feed back Gabe and Yatkuu. Hmmm only two comments after posting final update does this mean fail?
  11. I'm glad you like it . I should have added the Flickr description : "If they weren't brown this morning they will be now" Though this makes it a bit too obvious
  12. Cheers for the prompt positive feedback guys it goes a long way.
  13. A good day to wear brown pants! Brown Pants Day by Taz-Maniac, on Flickr Special thanks to ISC for being a constant inspiration, and to kris kelvin from LUGPol tall pine design (though I think his look better). Before anyone asks the table is warped not the base of the MOC
  14. Comic Life is the best!!! Great start but it would pay to take a little more time with your photos some are quite blurry and detract from your story. @ Hornbricker isn't "Comic life" only on Mac?
  15. Great entry ! I was waiting for a ship/boat entry and this does not fail to impress. One thing it seems to be missing is Mummies or bad guys , I don't think old Slim is much of a match for that 50 cal machine gun. Again great entry and good luck
  16. "X never marks the spot" Well done! I agree a few book shelves would go a long way but a solid build never the less. What's the go with the stain-glass ? is that a LEGO piece? Where does it come from? Cheers.
  17. Well done TooMuchCaffeine! I've been mulling over this idea for a while as well but in mini fig scale. yours looks great and it's nice to see the Indian camp and the location of the Tiger-Lilly affair but it would have been nice to see the "Pirate port" and the "Ever tree" (it was called something like that) too. Maybe they're on the other side of the island. Great work, Keep them comming
  18. Firstly Great build and perfect for the comp I'm a bit puzzled though is it Leviathan or Colossus ? So you might want to change the multi-ups. Good luck
  19. I see your reading the how to deeplink thread so you should be right now....if you still have trouble just shoot me a PM.

  20. For me it's the Musketeer, love that little guy. A great addition to any Blue coat army If any one wants to swap a few Spartans for Musketeers PM me .
  21. Ok the pics are up, sorry for the low quality photos I faild to get hold of a good camera And yes I Know it's big and the part count is high and I've tiled too much but this is what I want to see from LEGO as far as D2C sets go. Hope you like it even if it's not what you'll vote for.
  22. Awesome work mate can't wait to see the complete build with the gear box installed. Have you made a diff for the model yet? are you doing a locked diff or open ? solid axle or independent rear? I'm very excited about this even though I don't do Technic. Keep us posted please.
  23. Such a beautiful build! Well done, the lighting is very nice as well. Loved your write up too, great stuff
  24. A great idea though I feel it lacks the "wow" factor that the D2C sets tend to have. It's hard to find that fine line between too much ( like my entries) and not enough for a D2C set as well as keeping the official LEGO look. Good luck in the comp, though I think you need to change those multi up photos as per the rules
