  1. It's just a 2x4 tile behind the 1x2 plates....tricky.
  2. Cheers, I'm almost thinking about scraping the Skylanders, and just building an army of these little fellas.
  3. I suppose it could be used for picking teeth but it's just a knife, I would have preferred a spoon or fork but alas I don't have any.
  4. My latest builds have been sculptures, while I'm still finding my feet in this new genre, I thought I'd have a go at a Golbin, medieval style. Let me know what you think, please. Goblins. by Taz-Maniac, on Flickr
  5. Firstly, welcome to EB and GoH. For the most part value is in the eye of the beholder, what I see as great parts and colours, others may see a crappy set and vice versa. I use Bricklink a lot, but I've had time to find my building style, and therefore know which parts appeal to me. It really helps to have a bit of everything but there will be pieces you want in the hundreds or thousands so again it will depend on what and how you plan to build. Summing up: what ever appeals to you. For foliage you have a few options, Bricklink, ebay or PAB (if you're lucky enough to have access to one). They do appear in sets but not at great value. Camera: in one word, budget. How much do you want to spend? For maximum fun go DSLR all the way. I can't help with the selling, I'm a hoarder.
  6. Very well played, your bold choice of colours have payed of big time. The sculpting of the roof is simply awesome, great work.
  7. The statue is great but the overall presentation of the base plate could be lifted with some foliage or some landscaping, but a great starting point nonetheless.
  8. Nice work, I've just started building sculpture type stuff and it's a completely different ball game. These Cubees are spot on. Again nice work.
  9. Cheers, mate. You should have a crack at sculpture, it's different then anything I've done before.
  10. Nice work buddy, keep 'em comin'.
  11. Until I run out of bricks I guess.....not many. :p
