Wow, just wow. Where should I start, I'm just going to share my thoughts on all figures first. HP Pyjama Harry looks good, very usable fleshy Pyjama piece. Nice invisibility cloak, good replacement of the old one. Cedric, a real surprise, looks really good and it still fits next to the old tournament Harry his clothes. Older Harry, I like the printing, nothing too spe... wait, is those a new leg mold? Mad Eye Moody is just perfect, 10 times better than the abomination we got last time. I wonder if he has a dubble sides face to reveal Barty Crouch Jr.. Draco is just an easy way to get the Slytherin Quidditch torso, green broom looks kinda odd though. Trelawney is perfect, maybe best figure from the wave, new hair and new cup, this is the treatment McGonagall deserved. Older Hermione is a disappointment, hair doesn't really fit her, print is new but similar to Harry's. Crookshanks is nothing like he should be, looks more like Mrs Norris to me. Dean Thomas my boy, looks just . So happy they didn't skip on him. Finally someone to cheer in the crowd during a Quidditch match. Dobby is oké, the diary is perfect but I like the previous 2 head molds way better, this one is way too big. It reminds me of that weird LEGO ad from years ago saying ''Dobby has come to warn you sir''. Still gonna buy it, might be able to start SPEW with all 3 Dobbys. Flitwick, what could I say about Flitwick, the previous one was perfect, didn't know how they could ever make it look better, but they did it. Luna, very similar to last one, don't know which one I like better (nevermind, just noticed the fabric skirt, new one is a clear winner). Dumbledore, just YAAASSSHHH. He's exactly like I wanted him to be, the beard mold was just made for him (never mind, it's a new mold, even better). Neville looks nice, didn't expect this variant tbh. Really happy with it. Clever use of the headphone hairpiece. +bonus points for mandrake. A Weasley, really don't know which one, Bill? Fred/George? Nah it's Ron, with all joking aside nice torso, hair piece looked strange at first sight, but it grew on me and actually fits really well. The leaked Voldemort, actually happy, I really liked him. Cho Chang, finally Ravenclaw piece. Really happy with how she turned out. FB Newt and Tina are basically updated versions of the Dimension ones, now I don't have to buy those, thank you Lego, you just saved my wallet a little bit. Queenie finally has a more neutral expression. Jacob is in his regular outfit, really happy about this. Credence looks alright, nothing too special, wonder what his newspaper says. And last but not least Percival, with luckily a good faceprint for Grindelwald. There is also this random owl, no idea where he belongs to. So what am I missing. First of all Sprout and Lockhart are noticeably absent. From the students there's also Ginny missing. I hope they're saving them for a future Chamber of Secrets otherwise I'm kinda disappointed, especially since all other main students and all DATDA teachers have been made. Also no Sirius and Pettigrew ):. I also kinda wished for the Dursleys, since I'm not expecting a Privet Drive 4 set, but they were kinda obscure anyway. Oh and where is Ollivander? With that said I think this serie is amazing, perfect mix of HP and FB figures and it really supports the sets in a good way. Gonna collect all of these, I love them.

Perhaps you should switch the Slytherin Common Room and the Task Room around since the Slytherin common room is in the dungeons (with a view inside the lake or something), and the task room can only be located through the third floor (even though you have to fall pretty far down (but there isn't a devil's snare function so that shouldn't be too much of a problem)). Btw I really like what you've done with Dumbledore's office, I gives me 4729 vibes but with a touch of 4842.

I just noticed that in his recent Harry Potter interview (https://www.hellobricks.com/2018/06/interview-mark-stafford-senior-designer-lego-harry-potter/), senior designer Mark Stafford wore a D.Va Button, perhaps hinting at at least her inclusion? Or am I looking too much into this?

I think that if this wave was just focusing on movies 1-3 and the waves after focus on 4-7.2 it still doesn't necessarily mean no COS at all since it also appeared in Deathly Hallows Part 2, ofcourse the characters will be different and the scene wasn't as memorable as the one in COS, but it could happen. At least we now know that a Chamber of Secrets is at least on their mind.

Just speculation atm, could be July, Could be December. I expect something in between but who knows. Would be great, but I think this fits better on the wishlist thread...

I think the minifigures for the D2C Hogwarts will be Dumbledore, Snape, Flitwick, Sprout and McGonagall since in the Shield Helicarier we got Captain America, Black Widow, Maria Hill, Nick Fury and Hawkeye who were at the time of release basically the most important shield members. I think we can see something similar with Hogwarts in which case the most important members are the Heads of the houses and the headmaster.

How exactly does that rule out Voldemort? He could still appear in Hogwarts, or at least in nano-figure form, especially since it apparently includes lestrange as a nanofig. Unless you meant "don't forget Voldemort as our first cmf figure" in which case I have to say that this "leaked" image still isn't confirmed to be real so nothing confirmed here.

Hey I believe I haven't seen this news out here on this forum but another book description (very similar to the one about ''which teacher turns into a werewolf?'') has showed up on the dutch site bol.com. The students appear to be random children, no one specific, which is nice. One of them is definitely Umbridge, the other one could be Lupin or Lockhart. I just hope there won't be any exclusive minifigures included, but I'm kinda scared that the bricktober Umbridge might be put in here instead of the minifigure pack.
