  1. Not sure about Minnie, but I agree that Mickey will most likely return. Good point about Donald though, if they're going to include Goofy and Mickey people who missed the last series might be sad to not get Donald to unite the 3 friends. Same could be said about Minnie, but I rather see her in a D2C (which isn't even rumored at the moment, just speculation, before I get people confused). However I'm not sure which variant they could do for Donald, he didn't even had one in the Disney Castle D2C. I can only imagine his classic black and white suite (which would be kinda boring looking next to all the colourful characters) or, just like Millhouse, his superhero variant, the Duck Avenger, but I'm not sure if people even know him outside of Europe. Another possibility is to make the 3 friends into a joined theme, like the 3 musketeers, leaving regular Goofy for a potential D2C. Speaking about a potential D2C, I see most people saying it's going to be another Castle, but I'm not sure if any of the other castles will be as iconic as the one we got that can be seen with literally any movie. I didn't even know it was the Cinderella Castle until lego made it into a set, always just called it the Disney castle. But at the same time I don't know what else they could pick, my wishful thinking says the very iconic Scrooge McDuck money bin, but ofcourse I know that will never happen since it doesn't cover Disney at its whole like the theme park castles do. Main Street maybe? That's very iconic looking and fits beautifully before the castle we got last time. Besides I believe just like every Disney park has a castle, every park has a Main Street. Perhaps even with a small parade. After Ninjago city I can totally see it happening.
  2. Yeah that's also a reason why I excluded the dwarfs, at first I wanted to include only 1 but I didn't know if it should be Dopey or Grumpy since Dopey is clearly the dwarf who shows up most in parks and merchandise but Grumpy is often seen as the more important dwarf of the 7. And most of the time picked when they need a dwarf for their stories as seen in Once Upon a Time for example. So eventually I decided to exclude them both from my list.
  3. I hope the book includes a new version of the *houseless* robes we got in the original sorting hat set back in the day. They'll probably include Harry again but it would be nice if it was Ginny.
  4. Oké so here is my wishlist for series 2. 1. Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey with middle legs and Pluto 2. Goofy with long legs and sports accessory 3. Scrooge McDuck with money bag and number 1 dime 4. Regular Mr Incredible but with the games body piece 5. Frozone 6. Pete with the same body as Mr Incredible or sandwich board mold +extra pair of legs to make Peg Leg Pete 7. Lilo with Doll 8. Winnie the Pooh with Honey 9. Tigger with piglet 10. Jasmine with Abu 11. Jafar with cane and Iago 12. Wreck it Ralph with Mr Incredible body 13. Vaneloppe 14. Cruella De Vil with Puppy 15. Snow White 16. Evil Queen with apple, cloak, hood and double sided face, similar to madeye moody. 17. Woody with Regular head (if the sets go back to molded heads) 18. Jessie with regular head (same case as woody) 19. Warrior Mulan with Mushu 20. Sora with Keyblade (to represent the gaming side of Disney and to promote Kingdom hearts 3) 21.Hercules 22. Hades Honorable mentions: Grumpy and Dopey, I decided if they don't included all 7 dwarfs, they'll probably include no dwarfs at all. Kermit the Frog, he appears in Wreck it Ralph so I thought maybe, but ultimately he's no real Disney character. Anna and Elsa, but I'm not sure if they're that popular for boys, and if they'll do them I rather see them in a incredible like juniors set. Reasons why I chose these characters: I included 16 Disney characters and 6 Pixar characters to mirror the wizarding world series. I included another Mr Incredible to introduce the body piece and to be able to include Frozone who won't work on its own that well (reason why I excluded characters like Mad Hatter). There are 6 characters with a *newish* molded head just like in series 1 (counting micky with wizard head and Pluto) (the green alien was reused so I don't count him as 6th figure) Included more princesses that would work for both boys and girls and/or which come with an interesting villain. Which brings me to the next point, filling the Disney villains roster series 1 started (which got to include Pete). Speaking about Pete and Scrooge, I included them for some playability, children could probably find a lot of ways to make stories around them for their Mickey and friends minifigures.
  5. Omg this is great news. I'm pretty sure they will include Goofy this time around. I wonder if they'll bring back the long legs this time around since they also make a toy story 4 line. Goofy could definitely use it. However since Woody used regular legs in the Incredibles game I'm not too certain we'll ever see that piece again. On a side note, last time we heavily speculated about the inclusion of animal characters, especially Pluto, he didn't get included but since that series Lego stepped up their game with the inclusion of the Dolphin in TLBM and Nagini in WW. Plus Lego started to make more Scooby Doo like dogs now, even changing the body mold so the collar will be molded to the head.
  6. I'm not sure about that, Lego rarely releases figures based on the devil Anyway I love the sets. Kinda disappointed with the huge Bastion since I rather have minifigure scaled sets, but he still looks cool. I'm so happy they included my main (Pharah) I think she looks awesome. Although I think they better represented watchpoint Gibraltar with Winston's lab. Correct me if I'm wrong but is the Tracer vs Widowmaker the first (licensed) set to only include female characters? That's a pretty big deal. I'm kinda missing Roadhog, he would translate extremely well into a bigfig + a short leg Torbjörn with a turret to place onto the payload xD. I like it how they made 12 different hero minifigures, which would be enough to create 2 full teams of players into the game. Only problem is the lag of healer characters, there's only Mercy (well soldier 76 kinda heals, but he's more of a damage character). We have 3 tanks (Winston, D.Va and Reinhardt) 8 damage heroes and 1 healer. While most teams have 2 tanks, 2 healers and 2 damage heroes, so we're kinda missing 3 healers and 1 tank. But that's just me nitpicking. Overall the sets look great and they are exactly what I hoped for. They couldn't have done the D.Va mech any better and while Reinhardt is a little oversized, at least he does have a regular sized figure inside to compensate. I love them and these gotta be a day 1 buy (well I'm skipping Bastion to save money)
  7. Does anyone know if there will be a promotional polybag or something for cloud city? Since I'm planning on buying the set within a month but I known Lego has the habit of sometimes releasing a promotional figure or something a while after the release date. Don't wanna miss anything.
  8. I'm sorry for the late reaction, but I wouldn't say in-game isn't focused on vehicles. Payload maps are heavily focused on bringing the payload (often some kind of vehicle like in the Hollywood map) to the last checkpoint. There is also the ship that appears in a lot of "capture the point" maps. So I wouldn't be surprised if at least 2 sets are vehicle based + maybe a mech based set for D.Va.
  9. I bricklinked Umbridge old hairpiece (and Filch his cat) and it looks so much better on her than the new piece. That's a pretty good point+maybe the shrieking shack. But I only see this happening if the theme gets evergreened and is around for a couple of waves. Ofcourse all just speculation, nothing confirmed.
  10. Yeah that's true, probably have some lying around somewhere. Luckily the damage on her legs isn't as bad as on Snape's, so if I don't move the legs around too much (which I wasn't planning on doing anyway) she will be fine (I hope). Still I'm pretty dissapointed with the quality of the Bricktober figures lately, they look fine and all but things like this hardly happen to cmf figures or figures in sets. I recall the Batman pack from last year also had some issues. And don't get me started on the way these packs were promoted and distributed this year, but that's probably on Toys R Us.
  11. My Bricktober pack finally arrived. Somehow Snape's legs got assembled backwards, and the connection point to the hips is slightly damaged (it looks slightly white, like when you bend plastic). Same thing for one of Umbridge her legs. The hands also somehow have a very weak clutch power. They don't appear to be damaged but the wands and broom and potion and purse easily fall out of the hands. Still they look great and I probably never have a chance of getting them for a reasonable price again so I'm not going to complain to Toys R Us. Now I'm trying to find a way to get the original Umbridge hair piece because it will look so good on the new one.
  12. I haven't noticed it myself yet, but I've indeed heard more people mention it.
  13. These are made out of already existing pieces, they aren't official. Well kinda, but I'm afraid that can't really be helped. If we ever get a chamber of secrets with in the back a rocky wall to put the castle on (or make it ourselves) I think the similarity in hight will be unnoticeable.
  14. Tbh I'm not sure about that, that's mostly the case with main characters that are unmissable in the scene a set is based on (a Harry Potter, Batman, Luken Skywalker etc) this is not the case with overwatch. There isn't any particular main character (although tracer is kinda the mascotte) and there aren't any scenes, just locations (maps) with gamemodes and a random selection of characters. Ofcourse they have the short cinematic videos and comics and stuff but I doubt they'll focus on this. Ofcourse one could argue that they might be based on the event gamemodes like the uprising event but these are just temporary gamemodes new players can't even play with lesser known/obscure versions of locations and characters (skins).
  15. Well that looks terrible...
  16. I'm getting scared now, my bricktober pack is being shipped from Germany and it takes awfully long
  17. The only reason I can see a CMF series being made for Overwatch are the skins, but I highly doubt they will focus on that aspect of Overwatch. The sets are probably enough to get every hero that's currently in the game in about 2 waves (except for the characters that were added into the game too recently for LEGO to have time translating that character into a lego figure like Wrecking Ball).
  18. Just ordered the Hogwarts Express and added the bricktober pack from the toysRus site in the Netherlands. I was planning on buying the Quidditch set at first but it was €0,01 too less to get the bricktober pack. Can't wait to get my Umbridge.
  19. This is indeed a strange marketing strategy, I hope this isn't going to work against them since I want this theme to be around for a little while (although let's be honest, I think nobody sees this theme getting more than 2 waves)
  20. I also send a mail and its reaction was roughly translated: "The sale for the Bricktober packs will also happen in the Netherlands. You should subscribe to the newsletter to make sure not to miss it." So I assume we'll get an newsletter in an email that shows when each pack will be available similar to last year.
  21. For the Dutch people among us, the Bricktober packs will be available at ToysRUs at a yet unknown date in time. (Could be out soon, could be out late, so stay tuned)
  22. I was pretty close to what it actually was I think, kinda. I'm happy I waited with buying all sets on day 1 now.
  23. Does anyone know where and when to get the Bricktober packs in the Netherlands? Since last year they were released thhe same week as in germany, and since that's next monday this year (I think) I'm slightly worried we don't have any information yet. Our Toys''R'Us doesn't even have the new HP sets and I think we don't even have a B&N, smyths and target.
  24. Come to think of it, now the "leaked" Lando and Boba Fett turn out to be fake (or at least replaced or won't be released by the looks of it) I wonder what that means for the credibility of the leaked Ollivander.
  25. I would say the biggest set is either watchpoint Gibraltar with Winston's laboratory and the oss-7 Aurora or the dropship mv-261 Orca.
