  1. Yeah, I know. I'm a tad impatient haha...............(pfft a tad?) Also, anybody think that LEGO will have the new figures featured at NYCC Oct 8-11?
  2. Lol still no pics of the 2016 sets..........
  3. This may have already been a topic, but I'd like to just gather some data for personal use about members' preferences regarding the Bionicle sets from this year so far. So, which of the Toa/Protectors/Villains have been your personal favourite? Note Ekimu counts in the Protectors section, and Kulta is in the villain section. My personal favourites from all three categories are: I originally thought Pohatu was my favourite...but after some time, my opinion has shifted and I've decided that Kopaka is truly my favourite of the six Toa. Of the Protectors, I feel that the Protector of Stone is one of my favourites, but Izotor, the protector of Ice is my true favourite, again, for design's sake, play value, etc. Of the villains, I can quite confidently say that Skull Basher is my favourite. I'd love to hear from everyone! Also, if anyone knows the other topic (if one exists) where this question has been posed, I would greatly appreciate it if you could give me the link to it! Toa Pohatu Tahu Gali Onua Kopaka Lewa Protectors Izotor (Ice) Nilkuu (Stone) Vizuna (Jungle) Kivoda (Water) Korgot (Earth) Narmoto (Fire) Villains Lord of Skull Spiders Skull Warrior Skull Slicer Skull Basher Skull Scorpio Skull Grinder (Kulta)
  4. Oooooh these are really cool. For the gold one, which I can only assume is Ekimu, I like the fourth one on the far right. Tahu: 4th, far right. Pohatu: 4th, far right. Lewa: 3rd, right. Onua: 4th, far right. Gali: 2nd, left. Kopaka: 2nd, left. I prefer Kopaka's current design though to that one.
  5. This is awesome.
  6. Oh I realize that. It's ridiculous that a gender swap could generate such unnecessary backlash from some fans. Cool! I very much would have liked a female Takanuva!
  7. I think LEGO could only afford the one male voice actor. That's why her voice is so manly. What annoys me most is that Gali has done...little to nothing in the animations. I think that's worse than her manly voice. Since we are also on this subject, I wonder why there couldn't be more female characters adapted for the six toa....I could very well have seen Lewa and Kopaka as female characters. Anyway, that's just my opinion. I would love them all the same.
  8. Ah, I see. Is there anywhere I can get an ebook version of the island of lost masks? This would be the 5th episode coming up, so I think there would probably be around 4 left after that.
  9. Anybody have a guess as to what will happen in episode 15 of the online animations? We've so far seen....some teamwork from all the Toa. They took down the skull warriors together, but I feel that Lewa was key to that victory. Likewise, we saw a similar display of unity by the Toa against Slicer, with Onua providing the key to victory. Scorpios are after Lewa and Pohatu is out of commission with Kopaka protecting him....which would leave Gali and Tahu as the ones to star in another comeback. I'd bet on Gali being the crucial component in their defeating the Scorpios. Who knows.
  10. As much as I dislike it, I have to agree with your statement. It would be more likely that LEGO would present TFA sets or figures first. Still, I don't think it's too far-fetched to hope that preliminaries may leak, or that LEGO themselves will release pictures soon.
  11. Yeah that's what I was thinking about.
  12. I just want them to come out soon...only because I'm impatient to see what else LEGO's cooking up for the theme. Perhaps some may be certain that leaks are coming out soon because there is a toy fair (?) I believe in October....so LEGO might reveal the figures then. October is only a few weeks away.
  13. Totally agree with your comments regarding Kopaka. The set by itself could be another version of 'Maxilos and Spinax'. Would be awesome to have,.
  14. Hm I'd rather get a bulky Kopaka and a smaller creature that can combine with him to form some awesome big Kopaka thing.
  15. I really do hope lego reveal the new sets soon...
  16. I only have two of them..Slicer and Basher.....I've built only Slicer. The rest ill judge bases on looks and functions. I think I'll like Basher the best, because of his newer design. Slicer I love fiddling around with...I get that he's not as intricate as basher or warrior..but to me he's a ton of fun. Warrior is up there with slicer...he looks pretty cool and I like the asymmetry. I do think his staff weapon is bland though. I would likely buy Scorpio, rather than Grinder we're Grinder a separate set...so I'll say Scorpio would be better than Grinder because he has an innovative function which looks like it'd be super fun to play with. Grinder doesn't do too much for me. I'd only ever consider buying MMvSG for Ekimu himself. That's it;
  17. Well I'll still give em a read :D
  18. Yeah, I'm hoping the mask powers make a return...I feel like they made way more sense than did the elemental masks for this year.
  19. Ahhh very good point
  20. Yeah, I agree with you on that one. Just one more month....ish!!! I'm most looking forward to seeing Kopaka/Pohatu and their respective creatures.
  21. You're not alone. I really want to see the leaks for Bionicle 2016!!! Or at least official unveilings of those sets....I really want to see what they all look like, considering 2015 was a fantastic year for the theme. I think it was, at least.
  22. I don't think anyone explicitly claimed that Kopaka was going to be released in the summer, but I've read suggestions that he might be. I'm just debating those suggestions. I'm mainly hoping for images soon.
