Ok honestly, even if the first wave had that many sets..why would Kopaka be released in the summer along with Melum? I'm pretty sure they'd make a bigger set in the winter wave (if not the biggest). Unless there's some change to the story, I'm pretty sure he'll be included in the winter wave..or hope that he is included.

K, don't delete your opinion. That's not what forums are for...ostracizing someone for a different view. Also, I'd argue the story isn't as simple as you say it is...it's less complicated for children, that is definitely for sure..but there are still some good elements I've seen that change from the original story. First of all, there is no 'Great Spirit' or divine figure in the G2 universe. That was something that always kind of bugged me from G1....it was all centred around Mata Nui and the quest to awaken him or save him. No, this time, we've gotten a much more....practical? approach to the story. Two brothers, mask makers, usual types (in that they look kind of like protectors) are the ones at odds with one another. I'd like to know why Makuta does what he does, other than being jealous...also we have no idea what else there is to say about him. Skull villains...I have not read the books, so I have no idea what's going on with them. The new Toa are more human...which I like. The originals had a bit too much of a superhuman feel to them...these guys feel more like ordinary people who are trying to make a difference...and they have flaws. Kopaka is trying not to look weak; Tahu does things before he thinks, but really courageous; Lewa is a show-off and it gets him into trouble often; Gali is as I remember her...except for the bad jokes part...but I think it's funny; Onua is supposed to be the wisest...though I'm not a fan of his voice in the animation..still, he's the lovable giant; and Pohatu is the most different from his original...he's very rough on the outside, but I have a feeling we'll see deeper into him later on in the series. I like it.

Wait..WHAT? You think G2 is bad??!? Because of the story?!?! I heavily disagree with you on that. G2 is like....LEGO proving how innovative a toy company is. The story isn't as complex as it was before, sure....but there are other things in it which I like a little more than the G1 story (although that one was great). If you don't like the sets...just don't buy them. That's more saddening to hear for me, that someone thinks G2 may be worse than the originals. I totally disagree. I think he means you don't have all those kanohi that you can collect for the Toa this time.

Nope, I'm not either. The only part about the set I really like is Ekimu, I think he's a really spiffy looking protector. Otherwise, skip for me.

Can someone who has recently fimished reading the book quickly summarize it please? Important events and such, I don't want to read it, I'm just very curious. Spoiler tags obviously would be needed.

Hmm yeah ok, I'd totally be down with that...maybe also having....something like a spike lizard or frilled lizard for stone element would be interesting.

I like the Dimetrodon idea very much! I'd actually want that one to be the jungle one though. For fire, phoenix or dragon....love the idea of a new scorpion for stone, maybe a worm-like thing or......a mole wouldn't be bad either for earth. Oooh an octopus for water, wolf would make perfect sense for ice.

So....I guess that's done with then. I refuse to believe that LEGO has gotten rid of the keetorange on Lewa until they release the actual set. Also really disappointed that there may be less transparent coloured pieces...thankfully I bought the first six Toa..so I need only purchase one of two from this next line.

People, this isn't a political forum or any type of constitutional debate from any country, could we just get back to discussing bionicle 2016 and leaving the debate of whether it is bad to leak/why/why not debate behind us? Please?

The other thing with leaks is that they are of preliminary images, so LEGO is still working on the designs and final versions of the sets...if people get pics of these, I assume it downplays the effect of an unveiling of the product. Also, people get the wrong idea of what the final product will be..so it could possibly affect preferences, or demand of an item. Want an incredibly accurate example? I just heard Lewa is getting keetorange shells replaced with apple green. I dislike that and would now likely not plan on using my money to purchase that one set, which obviously doesn't tremendously affect Lego's profit...but imagine that happening multiplied by many other people who share my opinion of a set that hasn't even been revealed yet. I'd likely substitute lewa with...something else that isn't lego. I think the unveiling in October is meant to preview the sets to a select few people (this is likely why in Britain toy fair photography is banned)...I think it's for a toy fair thing. Not 100% sure To add to this, I think that if a clone company were to try and copy this product and sell it as their own after the product's two-month preview or unveiling, the product being officially LEGO's would put them in a nice spot for a lawsuit.

Leaks are bad precisely because competitors, wait not even competitors..maybe clone shops can copy the sets to be made by LEGO....and you'd be extremely surprised just how quickly they can do so. Two weeks could be enough really. I'm not naming countries or anything, just know that they could use harmful substitutes for the LEGO plastic and sell them to people. So yeah, as much as I would love to see leaks, they actually aren't good.

I just hope Pohatu looks super cool...hope they kept the burnt orange shells, trans-lime green pieces...maybe got himself a better build? I'm already disappointed by Lewa becoming completely green. I loved the keetorange on him. I think now he'll look as bland as Gali (IMO), who I like as a figure...but feel that the colour scheme is boring. Onua and Kopaka sound interesting...not sure about Tahu.

Wow I'm very disappointed about lewa losing the keetorange. Ah well, hope to see pics of the sets soon! They still sound really coo!
