Yeah, I figured as much. It's likely they will be released around Christmas or January in North America like last year, and then released later that month in other countries

Nah, I think that they'd at least try to find a way to fit some functions into the sets. Even if they don't have functions...I'm still super excited about these sets. Finally, Tahu has orange....but I don't like the descriptions of his mask. Gali, Pohatu sound awesome....not sure about Kopaka. Onua sounds ok...and I'm disappointed Lewa's Keetorange is gone.

Ok, I don't necessarily need pictures, but at least a description of the sets or something....I'd love to know what on earth the sets look like, even if they're just described to me

Firstly, the episodes repeat the story so often, there is a 0% chance anybody would be confused about the story. Unless they watch the episode and listen to absolutely nothing being said in a minute and thirty seconds...which I highly doubt. Second, it isn't something completely different...to be continued means that it will be continued at a later time to tie in the end of this skull villain portion of the story with new toa/creatures story. Lastly, I understand that being left in the dark about the story may be frustrating, but this isn't up to you or us fans, this is all lego's plan. It's not an attempt to promote anything, it's meant to keep the audience enticed for months until they see completely new figures being released....they don't know how the skull villain portion ended, but they will be super willing to find out....when the new sets come out. Do remember that the skull villains were released a month ago....they want to sell those sets. You're already proving that the strategy works, you're completely confounded by the possibility that the animations will not conclude the Skull Grinder battle.

I repeat: Also, the fact that people are obsessed with conclusions would be a very logical reason for them to end the episodes there. You don't know what'll happen next, so you gotta buy the book, or graphic novel to find out...or do what I did and go to an Indigo and skip to the end. Also makes the new sets even more desirable.

Why are you so sure that it is not the last episode? It would seem perfectly logical to leave it there and restart in January when the new sets come out. Also, there is a 'to be continued' crawl at the end of ep. 17

Nope, ep 17 will be the last one. If you go back and look at the earlier episodes (season 1 I guess...) they end with the credits as well when the skull warrior breaks out of the earth. Also, if you think about it, it wouldn't be bad to end the series on a cliffhanger....as I said in the spoilers before, I'm pretty sure there would be a reason as to why they'd leave the episodes on a cliffhanger *cough* new products *cough*
