Meh, I'm not against stickers. I kinda like them in fact...it reminds me that the thing I'm constructing is a model...makes it pretty fun.

Quick question guys, did we get to see the Toa/protector combos last year when LEGO released official pics of them? I would love to see the creature combos for this year, as that would be a crucial factor in me choosing which sets I'll be buying. Anybody think we'll get to see the combos along with official pics when they are released?

I also really like the Mahiki, Arthron, Iden, and Ruru...really I can't say that any of the other masks excluding the Kaukau Nuva and Volitak are my least favourite. They're all cool. -

I have no opinion on Hero Factory, as I never bought any of those sets, but Bionicle..... My absolute favourite mask of G1 has to be a tie between the Olmak and Miru Nuva. Worst mask from G1....I'd say the mask I disliked the most was Nuparu Mahri's mask..still hate it to this day...never cared for Glatorian, so I have no opinion there. G2: so far, my favourite mask is the mask of stone...least favourite...honestly I like all the masks...so I'd say least favourite is skull spider mask for me -
That's possible, but I would agree more with Logan...you could aim the bow using the waist function. It sounds cool. I was just thinking about this, but...I would be so stoked if Lewa, maybe for version three, could have some kind of a design that pays homage to the jaguar.....I know that's random...but it'd be awesome

I'm hoping they're at least covered from the back...otherwise, buying the creatures will be necessary for all the toa...and I'm afraid that is a possibility.

Yea, I had envisioned him before the reveal. Honestly..I imagined him to be a large robot..not to the scale in which he was revealed...but considering Makuta was a robotic-thing..I just assumed Mata Nui was too. I never actually thought we'd find out...mostly because of how the length of the Bionicle storyline. Wouldn't say disappointed....surprised that he took a toa form, but not disappointed. -
Eh depends on what people want out of the sets. I don't care as long as the figure is really fun to play around with...that doesn't necessarily mean it needs a gear function or swivel function for me

I love the idea of having the toa return for a third time in new forms! I wouldn't have an issue with Bionicle ending then if it did. It'd be sad, but man, we've had such awesome sets released...it's worth it.

Yeah, if there's a netflix series, then it will become more drawn out. LEGO is still working out the final designs of the new sets guaranteed, since they only give the crystal armour as hints to the new sets. I also think the graphic novel will have more on the 2016 story when it comes out (I believe it's coming out in November?)

Ah, so that confirms that their new forms will be evolved versions. So we won't be getting official pics at least until December....:( darn it. Awesome episode though!

Ah that is very true. When I finished building Kopaka, I just knew I liked him the best. I was never originally going to buy him too....would have really missed out on having him.

I agree with the gun being awesome!!! Also, I really liked his '15 incarnation. This new one...again, I love his weapon, his colours, his creature is absolutely one of the best...but the back looks odd...again, I'll judge when we get clearer official pics, but he's definitely not one of the worst Toa of 2016...I just think the other ones are a bit better.

Yeah I know what you mean....he looks super gappy in the prelims...it's unappealing....the other things I dislike about Onua are his mask and those clunky..ugly looking feet...I love the black gorilla-looking feet so much more than those. His colours this time though are amazing.

i mostly agree with you on that...however, I think that Gali was severely downgraded this time around....Onua I'm still not sure about, Tahu is much better than his '15 incarnation, Pohatu is also better than '15...but I'm also slightly unsure about him, Lewa is disappointingly less eye-catching than his '15 version...but imagining his combo model with Uxar makes me think that he remained up there among the greater models..I'm not sure whether that's just me always getting the 'green Bionicles', but Lewa once again is one of the figures I seem to look forward to getting first again. Kopaka I think might be even better than his '15 incarnation, something I did not expect for LEGO to accomplish considering their history with Bionicle (perfect example: Matoro Inike and Matoro Mahri). The weird thing is that I like where they're going with Gali's colours (having more orange is so much better than the bland only blue colours), but they added so little of that orange colour to her that it feels awkward....I don't particularly like her mask either...but again, these are from looking at prelims lol

I think Okoto has an Ekimu problem. The Okoto writing on the rock in front says: "E was here"...that combined with the mask of creation carving seems to infer that Ekimu is not only an artist, but a little troll too.
