  1. Na'im sneers at the Mihnak "You have no idea what you are talking about dwarf" Na'im says for once abandoning the pretext 'master' "You speak of your love gold and then you talk of your duties as a hero! There is nothing heroic in sparing a life dwarf-only necessity dictates when and where slaughter should occur." He pauses for a second his clipped and snide tone vanishing for a second "Perhaps" he says quietly "you should leave the true heroes round here to decide on a course of action and next time think with your head instead of your hand cannon since you clearly seem incapable of seperating business and heroics"
  2. "I wouldn't take anything from that master Germ" replies Na'im in the same cautious tone "it seems to me the doctor is Is in it for the money just as much as we are. With the gold he will net from selling the elixir to desperate red assassins he plans to get rich, and I for one see any trickery there.I would think the doctor knows better than to attempt to double cross our esteemed troupe at any rate" Na'im smiles briefly at this "oh and master Germ I would be wary of that pouch at any rate-as honourable as these red assassin gentlemen may seem, I doubt they are below cursing or booby trapping their valuables"
  3. Na'im glances at Nalguz somewhat surprised at his course of action but decides to let it pass "I'm not entirely convinced at the wisdom of that idea Master Germ. The doctor strikes me as a cunning man and i doubt he would brew any more potion than he needed to at least at this stage" Na'im says carefully
  4. Na'im smirks smugly at Mihnak and Nalguz and makes a show of pocketing the badge Into a fold In his cloak "my thanks master Burehalv" says Na'im sounding pleased He turns to Rhysicz and extends a hand "it has been a pleasure working with you my friend. I hope that someday we shall meet again. Untill then, remember to aim straight and stay well clear of snakes and zealous Druids" says Na'im with a knowing smile. It sounded that despite his original hostility to the hunter he was sorry to see him go
  5. Na'im pulls out a handkerchief and mops his forehead briefly "well gentlemen it seems we pulled through. And" he adds in Nalguz's direction "they had no gold in them" Na'im turns to Boris expectantly clearly waiting for loot division
  6. "Is that really necessary master Germ?" Says Na'im in a bored voice "They shall die when they shall die and by all means if it is painful all the better. Do we really need to 'put them out of their misery'-too many things could go wrong with this plan. No, much simpler to sit back and watch them bleed out' Na'im says staring interestedly at a tree on the opposite side of the clearing
  7. "Dose it hurt my friends?" Na'im says softly "Are you afraid? Death is coming you know-surely you have felt it. Do you have any last words-I can record them If you wish. But then again, I doubt anyone will want to hear them" he smirks Na'im dose nothing from the back row
  8. Na'im smiles grimly glad the battle had clearly turned in the heroes favour. But the moment he had Nalguz patched up, Mhinak got hurt again-Na'im sighs and turns to the dwarf "Dose getting injured seem to please you master Mhinak, for I can think of no other reason why you constantly put yourself in the firing line" he goads, with a trace irritability in his voice Na'im heals Mhinak from the back row
  9. Na'im only laughs at the leaders discomfort "You poor thing. A bit new to babysittnig are you? Petrhaps it would be a better idea not to bring along novices on a critical mission." Na'im nods briefly at Germs suggestion "Well hold master Nalguz-this won't hurt a bit!" Na'im heals Nalguz from the back row Na'im rolls his eyes at the dogs excited barking and gives Warkaboohine a strange look
  10. I would say because there are relatively few elves in the game it should affect half elves as well, purely to make it a more useful and balenced item (in a similar way to how Lind was criticised in quest 118 with those orcish gauntlets for making them to specialised)
  11. OOC:That's good news then If Warkaboofhine gets damaged this round Na'im will heal him instead
  12. Na'im turns to Minhak "Well this situation seems familiar master Minhak-are you always the first to get hit?" Na'im jokes Na'im focuses on healing Minhak from the back row OOC: dose moving between rows cost a turn-I forgot again. Well WBD it seems you got what you wanted-is my current action good or do we need to batter down the smokemaster again?
  13. OOC: don't you think you should put Boris near the end so he can pull off a miricale to maximum effect? If we can't make the smokemaster bleed then it's no big deal really-the others have much better situational drops but it dose make we wonder why cutcobra included it. That said the smokemaster specials look the most dangerous of the lot with all the AOE so are you sure it is a good idea to have so many of us attack him (this is why I suggested using the bombs) .Oh, and cutcobra I should be back to full ether after drinking that tonic :) (sorry about that wall of strategy) Na'im sighs "very well then master Burehalv we shall do it your way in all your infinite wisdom" Na'ims eyes widen when he sees Nalguz skirt over to the enemy party "Abandon us Nalguz and be damned!" Na'im crys Na'im attacks the leader from the front row unless WBD overrules me
  14. Na'im turns complexion darkens as he sees what he had got himself into, but he convinced himself that either way a fight with the assassins would have been inevitable as they would have attacked them anyway when they turned their backs. Na'im knew that this was the toughest fight he had been in for a long time and he would be forced to use every inkling of cunning he had to achieve victory "Rhysicz my friend, I want to make these do-good ers suffer" he declares "perhaps getting Warkaboofhine to attack them from a distance (the back row) will give them a slow and painful death, but alas we do not have the time and I fear we will all have to pull our weight" he glances at Nalguz and Minhak who had wanted to spare the assassins "master Burehalv I feel that dirt bomb you pocess may be the key to taking down the being shrouded in smoke and I think Rhysicz should be the one to take on the cheif if he feels up to it" OOC:To maximise loot I think the best think to do would be to stick to bombs and Lower level hero attacks-Rhysicz is the only one of us who can avoid sudden death but at the same time I would rather not have him knock out some of the enemies and us not to get the best loot possible-on the plus side all of us Phoenix essences so a TPKO is unlikely
  15. "Master Burehalv is quite right-no matter how honourable they are they are still assassins by trade and cannot be trusted-they make a living out of murder and trickery for goodness sake!" Na'im exclaims in an exasperated voice. He was beggining to panic that the party did not see the situation the way he did
  16. Na'im laughs coldly his laughs filling the clearing "oh you don't need to worry my dear Rhysicz these assassins aren't going anywhere- you are assassins by trade you imbeciles, why would we ever trust a word you say-you probably plan to murder us all when we turn and leave! After all, whoever heard of a trustworthy assassin?" Na'im shakes his head at the trio of red assassins "Oh and as for your friend Zug?" His face twists into a sneer "Just an occupational hazard my friends-he should have known the only thing he was signing up for was a life of pain and eventual death. You should know nobody leaves the red assassins" Na'ims hefts the Lucerna Beautus and settles into a low battle ready stance
  17. "I do seem to notice you have avoided mentioning what you will do when combat begins-surely you do not plan to abandon us master Burehalv?" Na'im chuckles "Yet it seems a plausible plan to me." Na'im creeps to where he is needed, making as little noise as possible and nodding in greeting to his allies when he arrives
  18. Na'im smirks "No sense getting into any more trouble master Minak-we came here to get the potion back, nothing more nothing less. And it seems thses are definately our crowd since one of them is bleeding from our efforts, back at master bookeaters study. Perhaps we could send Germ to check out the situation for he can always flee if required, and then we could surprise them from behind?"
  19. Na'im gives a weary smile "Your coinfidence is misplaced my dear Rhysicz, we shall manage-I for one have faced far worse" He sighs "As long as I return with my head still on my shoulders and a bag full of gold, I care little about what the job is, for at the end of the day gold is gold, and gold is eternal, the only thing being more eternal is the simple mindedness of those who still look to the heavens for answers" Na'im becomes pensive and stares into the distance, taking a long draft of a tonic as he did so "Do you have any particular stories to tell about these red asassains or are you just trying to scare us master Rhysicz?" Na'im say plainly
  20. Na'im stares at Minhak for a few seconds, a look of contempt on his face "Interesting-are all your kind as stubborn and quick tempered as yourself as the stories say master Minhak? And as for the hounds treasure I will guard it with my life!" Na'im says, his voice a little too upbeat, giving Warkaboofhine a quick pat on the head
  21. Na'im splutters in outrage and nudges Boris carefully with his staff "master Burehalv it is clear to me that there is a conspiracy between the dwarf and this hound to keep all the treasure between them-we must act before it is too late!" Na' murmurs barely moving his mouth in the process He turns to Rhysicz "there should be some blood stains on the trail we were following unless you were too preoccupied to notice them"
  22. Oh don't worry Cutcobra it definitely worked- I knew I should have waited and joined quest 131... Oh and lelz- where did this nickname come from? I quite like it though.
  23. Na'im flinches as the head of the adder goses flying into the forest behind him. He also draws up his cloak around his nose to block out the stench of the putrid snake corpses He turns to Boris "nicely done" he says simply "What is our plan of action now party leader-we now have a hound and hunter by our side as well to boot" Seeing Warkboofhine deposit the bones by Boris' feet Na'im looks down in confusion "go take your treats somewhere else hound-now what happened to those treasures we were talking about earlier hmm?" He says squatting down next to the dire wolf OOC: if it isn't clear Na'im cannot understand animal talk and so doesn't understand what the bones are doing here
  24. But wasn't Leviathan the Arch-demon of sloth, not gluttony-that was mephisto if I remember
  25. Na'im permits himself a small smile, glad things had finally gone the party's way-he turns to Boris "Care to do the honours, master Burehlav? The beast looks half-dead anyway." he pauses "Or perhaps you are not sure you can handle a little snake?" he says tauntingly If Boris is not going to take the snake on himself, Na'im attacks black adder from the front row OOC: This is just RP on my part and I am partial to whatever WBD things is the best course of action
