Might get me a head start in this questing business for instance. Do you not remember your first days as a hero, master em, and how strange and difficult everything seemed, hmm? Perhaps not. Do you have any tips for new and inexperienced heroes by the way?"

Na'im bows not mockingly to the assembled 'fine heroes' "the best eh? Well it seems I have come to the right place then!" Na'im laughs briefly at his own joke before turning back to em: "I am Na'im suladec ne of the Thamir line, cleric of the fourth class and of the air aspect- some call me centaur-friend or lion tamer, but to me I am just, Na'im, a humble Cleric searching for a new start" he says sombrely What combat profession do you specialise in master em? You certainly must be very skilled at your work." OOC: Reference there back to chromeknight's original inventive naming suggestions and keeping in with with the anagram theme!

Entirely understandable and that was kind of my intention. Na'im is a difficult character to read and half of his manner is designed to get a reaction out of people (and it seems he succeeded!). Actually the irony is that na'ims eyesight isn't great anyway! It's good to hear em isn't a predujuced character!

Oh dear, now Em seems to think Na'im is more blind than he looks after asking if their were any quests Of course I'm fairly certain that pitch could only have been set up a maximum of ten hours after posting that I supose it was just a coincidence that Sandy posted directly after me

"Then it seems i have been mistaken master knight" Ta'im responds frostily "As to my knowledge this quest only just appeared here a mere few minutes ago, nonetheless I thank you for your input, and it sems I will take your advice" Na'im darts the knight a thin smile before leaving his seat and approachig the quest board Na'im Thamir signs up for Quest 128 Returning to the table, Ta'im sits down next to the knight "I do not believe I caught your name by the way, good knight, and who are your esteemed companions?" Na'im asks, casting his eyes over Hybros, Boomingham and Nur.

Ta'im was bored. He'd almost forgotten what the sensation felt like. He'd been on the road for a long time and there and there had always been travelling to do, and perhaps preparing food or taking watch. Here he felt...at peace, but he was itching to get up and do something. He lazily cast his eyes around the hall where he found a large group of heroes deep in conversation. Some sort of short demon, a knight with long hair and an eyepatch, a foriegn looking mage with a wide brimmed hat and a large knight with an enormous greatsword. Perfect company. He approached them "I don't supose any of you fine heroes know where I may find the questboard do you? Or have I wandered into the wrong heroica hall? I thourght that was what this organisation did-questing." Of course he knew where the questboard was but he couldn't think of a better way to start a conversation on the spot, and definatly didn't want to appear weak and in search of companionship. It was impossible to tell whether his tone was serious or not. Every word seemed to content a spark of hidden wit and seemed to goad the person he was talking to into retorting angrily back but of course, that was all part of his intentions.

As the heroes in the hall talked about golems and imps and far off places of great promise and importance, it was easy not to notice a new hero slip quietly into the hall. Dressed all in black from his wide brimmed hat down to his robes his very appearance gave nothing away. Every footstep was softly laid down, some would say daintily, and he moved with a simple, elagent grace that suggested he had all the time in the world, every step accompanied by a rythmic tap-tap of his staff on the floor ahead of him. His eyes roamed lazily over the many denizens of the hall before he cast his eyes over the questboard. if he was dissapionted no quests were avaliable he did not show it, merely shrugging his shoulders and finding a quiet corner of the hall in which to sit down and wait

Well, I finally think I got my character posted and the image thing sorted, depite not being the most tech savvy person ever Ha! I'll try not to dissapiont Cutcobra, though you and Heckz really do set a standerd! Thanks for all the welcome messages too guys!

Sounds good sandy! I've read up on the backstory of the game before joining and have always felt the lore on these places should be expanded. I'm sure they will be a great read even if they aren't really for heroes at my level! Thanks for the warm welcome as well

I honestly did think of keeping up the theme from Quarryman and making an anagram but none of them really struck a chord in me so I decided against it. Those are good name suggstions though Pale skinned, red haired dudeds-I'll try and get up a picture by tomorrow

A long time follower of eurobricks, but now I've finally decided to jion! I've always been overwhelmed by the sheer creativity and attention to detail that is present in the MOCs showcased here and I'll admit I've been a bit imtimidated, but seeing how welcoming everyone seems here I've decided I couldn't resist jioning the fun.
