Did something like that for one of my projects but without drive. And I'm really not shure, that that gear for drive is not colliding with suspension arms. It really fits? And another thing - steering turning axle is in offset to cv joint -

You are missing now that main interesting function of boom, which Mecalac has. -

I don't care anymore. If I wan't color consitency in MOC, I use parts I have. In fact, for some yellow build, why not to use this.- 5,507 replies

Impressive. In first picture already may attention caught some part, just later realized, that it is just helmet. Interesting use. -
Is closer to 225/45R15 . This will be closer. OK, maybe something closer to 185 for real tire, but I don't think, that those tires will be too fat for this Mazda. When I build, I'm not aming for some perfect scale, I just put picture in scaler.sariel.pl and scale around chosen tire. If that 1:8 is really close, it could be OK to build then everything according to that scale, I think.

Systems tractors and other machinery
Jurss replied to 1gor's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
With this gearing this would be really fastrack. Some 6 years ago I started project building Valtra NX type tractor (with lot of steerign possibilities). And I abondoned that project, as technically it was too hard for me (some 5 steering modes). I thoght about some gearbox at that time, to implement all those steering modes. Now, as there are all those tractor tyres, also powered up hub etc., I thought, that it is time, and I will try to program all those modes. But it seems for me, that in best case I will be able to create just some POC, as I can't just nicely fit some 3 motors (one for drive, two for steering) and that hub in that tractor. OK, if I abondon front swing axle and put hub inside cabin, then maybe.- 625 replies

there can be pretty big delay, slack (?) in that connection between worm gear and that small gear. Not good for steering, especially in fast car. -

For that middle case there is elegant solution with axle/pin + plus the same axlhole(1L bush)/2L pin. Yes, if You need to add axle with 1L distance, then there are "issues".- 5,507 replies

1.No, not legal. 2. What is the case You need something like this? 3. I think, I had cases, when I wanted something like this, but I forgot exactly which cases, and I found legal solutions.- 5,507 replies

You need some mindstorms or boost with some sensor to do switching, or try to find golden gear ration for this. -

Those are 16T gears, as I can count some 7-8 tooth on side. So looks like recolor. -

No. I'm lazy. And I have already too much computer at work, so I try to use it as less as possible at home.
