The legs are indeed very cool. The boots are a little too big but there's really no way to make them any smaller. Nice work.

It's hard to create a Lego ball, but you've pulled it off well. Now go out there and catch 'em all!

Nice replica of the game. I suspect it's going to take a while to finish. -

This thread looks like the type of thread you would see over on the Lego Message Boards. Oh wait...... Lego Universe is never coming back. It simply cannot happen. If it was that much of a bust that it couldn't even last two years on its own then I don't see a reason for its return. Bionicle was brought back because, although it started to taper off it later years, the original run was very successful, so successful that it was a large factor in saving the company from bankruptcy. Ninjago was brought back not only because of massive amounts of fans petitioning, but also because the original run was far more profitable then Lego had expected. Petitioning itself only has a slight chance of being effecting in any way, and that's only when the actual petitions start long before the line actually leaves the shelves. LU has been gone for 4 1/2 years now, so it's too late, sorry.

Best years of Lego sets Discussion

Interesting. I haven't heard that until now, thank you. I suspect the Forest monsters will come in January/March and the Sea monsters will come in June/August. Back on topic, I'll second 2008 being a great year. So many great releases. -
I said that because by the looks of it a few of the Ultimates aren't selling particularly well, just as some of the Speedorz didn't sell well for Chima. That says nothing about the rest of the line, but Lego could choose to discontinue them and maybe try something else next year.

Nice. The usage of the frog is especially creative.

Great work. Love the greebling towards the middle of the ship. The photography is also impressive.

2017 looks like it's going to be a step up from this year at least. The Batman Movie sets look good so far, Batman CMF series, Star Wars 8 sets, Maybe POTC 5 sets, another City People Pack, The Ninjago Movie, Nexo Knights Forest Monsters, Series 17, etc. -
Excellent work. The Gatehouse of the castle is particularly impressive.
-
If "they" refers to the Ultimates, then yes. I don't think we'll be seeing Ultimates next year.

2009 was an excellent year. Agents, Castle, Pirates, and Indiana Jones all had great years. Power Miners was introduced (shame it only lasted two years). The Farm sub theme of City was introduced for the first time ever. Medieval Market Village, The Grand Carousel and Tantive IV came out. Fire Brigade is, in my opinion, the best modular to date. One of my personal favorites, the Winter Village line, started. Star Wars had another strong showing. 10/10 year for sure. -

Love the repurposed Nuju MOC, Cook. Will we see the town in its entirety anytime soon? Side note - Back to back posters with Troll avatars now in a Troll-related thread. Coincidence? I think not. -
Good work. I agree with your opinion of the UFO line, it was a really neat concept, revolutionary for its time even. Shame it wasn't fleshed out. The set in question is also pretty cool, I love the figure.

Nice work. I like the chains and spikes you've added, it really makes the mech look more intimidating. A worthy counterpart to any official Blacktron set for sure.
