Looks like two ships to me. The third box is too square to be a ship. -

Photonomicon: Historic Minifig Evolution
BrickJagger replied to SirBlake's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Nice idea. I found the King evolution especially interesting. Maybe a line of "Evil Warlords" With Basil, Cedric, Vladek, and the Troll King? -
I wish there was an option for "OT and Clone Wars but not PT", but there isn't, so I guess I'll go with OT. simonjedi - Last active Feb - 07 - 15. Wouldn't be a Star Wars thread without one of your Jar-Jar creations.

Which Themes Deserve a Reboot?
BrickJagger replied to Lancethecat's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I'd like a return of Adventurers as well, but if I had to pick one sub theme to bring back, it would be Amazon. Pharaoh's Quest was fairly recent, Jurassic World just came out last year, and I remember reading that Orient Expedition didn't sell very well, despite it being an excellent theme.- 438 replies

Nice job! I would change the blue elements in the bike shop to green, though. The colors clash a little bit. -
Nice work. I would add another floor.

I agree, although it's pretty clear that Historic has the most full-time members of the three, so part of the reason it seems like there's more negativity in here is simply because there are more posters here. I understand why most of the Historic fans don't like Nexo Knights, but they were the same ones who complained about how "Unusable" and "Childish" the 2013 Castle sets were. A large percentage of this forum often has some gripe with the current theme, no matter what it is. After a theme ends and a new one begins some people here simply move on to voicing their dislike for the replacement. Is Nexo a Castle theme? To the members who say no, Space fans in 2011 didn't consider Alien Conquest a Space theme. For the official designer of the sets to tell you it's a Castle theme should be enough, although that doesn't mean that you have to like it. EB even cast a vote on whether or not NK was a Castle theme, and, by an ever so slim margin, "yes" won. However, I do see a reason to be worried after NK ends. An worst case scenario in my book would be Castle turning into modern day pirates, with one simplistic wave every decade or so. That would be a disaster. NK is not a disaster, even if you don't like it. Many people over the years here have been begging Lego for Lava Monsters, and Lego finally delivered. The monster figures present in NK should be usable for most, if not all, of the fans of Fantasy Era here. Sure, the monsters ride around in tanks and stuff, but at least Jestro's Castle is largely usable for a Historic fan. You can always build your own MOCs, but only Lego can provide the special printing and new pieces. NK is overflowing with new pieces and new possibilities. Many of those parts are not intended for Historic themes purposes, but at least the Sci-Fi board is also getting something new, if you want to look at it that way. Look at Nexo Knights as a one time only thing. It's probably going to run for two more years, maybe a few more after that if it sells well, which it seems to be doing. After that, we could be looking at mediocre Castle themes for the next few years that no one is really a fan of, but at least now it's good that some people are getting what they want.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
BrickJagger replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
The Lowrider is incredible for sure. I like how the Batmobile is a very unorthodox take on the vehicle, it really contrasts well with the Lowrider and adds to the general zany atmosphere of Lego-themed movies. -

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
BrickJagger replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
By the looks of it the Batmobile has some sort of transforming function. Check out the ball joints at the front and the wheels at the back, which also seem to be able to rotate. -
My local TRU has had the same lineup of ten Chima sets (Four Crominous sets, two Mammoth Walker things, two Mammoth fortresses, the Ultimate Phoenix, and Sir Fanger's walker) for the past year. They've literally been sitting on the shelf next to each other in plain sight since last May and the order in which they are arranged hasn't so much as moved. There's actually a thick layer of dust on them now. Yeah, if Lego thought that theme would have successfully replaced Ninjago, they were about as wrong as one can be.

I was just using that as an example of this. I know that the game says to be aware of your surroundings, but that doesn't mean that people will. I've seen countless stories on the news of people walking into bad neighborhoods that they would usually avoid and getting shanked, and of robberies occurring due to the distraction caused by playing the game. I like how the game makes people walk around and actually exercise, but it increases the number of distracted people, including distracted drivers who put their phones on their dashboards in order to play the game.

It has to be in order to fit those huge subwoofers in the back, right?
