  1. That's a good idea, but I have 24 blue lions and 3 crownies.
  2. Blue Lions are the good guys from 2013. (Not sure how to embed a photo). Fright Knights......I'm a little bias because I love their castle for some odd reason. I just do. Don't judge
  3. 1. Everything. 2. --------Joke---- - -> - O ^ My head @Eru Magnus Valar Robert8 proposed the thread, although I approve of the idea.
  4. Castle 2013 wasn't awful, but it sure was disappointing. Here I am, waiting for the return of Kingdoms, when I see the prelims and get really annoyed. The reason it's down so low is because all of the other themes ahead of it are better. I guess FK and KKI are a little iffy to be ahead of Castle 2013, but it's my opinion. The second thing you say there is a little unfair: You are fusing 9 or 10 factions into one "super sub theme", I guess, and that would obviously win because the most factions in any real sub theme is 4.
  5. I'm pretty sure that the Lion Knights form '84 are called Crusaders so they aren't confused with the Lion Knights from 2000, 2010, and 2013. Another reason could be that different language Lego magazines called them different things. There is a pretty strong following for the Black Falcons here (and I'm one of them ) but it's about equal to that of Castle 2007.I personally think: (EDIT: by request) 1.Castle 2007 2.Black Falcons 3.Kingdoms 4.Forest men 5.Crusaders 6.Wolfpack 7.Black Knights 8.Classic Castle 9.Fright Knights 10.Dragon Masters 11.Royal Knights 12.KKI 13.Castle 2013 14.KKII 15.Dark Forest 1. Black Falcons 2. Forestmen 3.Crownies 4.Dwarves 5.Green Dragons 6.Crusaders 7.Red Lions 8.Wolfpack 9.Shadow Knights 10.Skeletons 11. Trolls 12. Black Knights 13. Red Dragons 14. Bulls 15. Royal Knights 16.Fright Knights 17. Classic Castle 18.Blue Lions (Hate them) 19.Dark Forest 20. Pants-less mercenaries from 2006 20. King Leo's Gut Wrenchers 21. Jelly Beans, Power Rangers, Rainbow Knights, Perrywinkle dudes KKII Morcia Knights
  6. I agree, Castle should have it's own forum as it's just as big as City and Space, but where would the others be grouped? What forum would contain Ninja, Wild West, and Vikings? Castle being grouped with other themes doesn't concern me much, because pretty soon it will be the only non-discontinued theme in this forum, essentially making this forum 95% Castle.
  7. Castle '07, Black Falcons, and Kingdoms would be in a dead heat at the top.
  8. I just had a thought. Since it worked for me, how about everyone here (who feels like it) goes to their local Lego store and asks the manager about Castle? It could give us new info or a better idea of what's going on. So, who wants to try it out?
  9. KKII was a little......different. I don't consider them a real sub theme, more like a Chima-esque spinoff theme. KKII also had monkeys, so.....
  10. Yeah, I'd expect another Lion, because Lego thinks that good guys are only Lions and bad guys are only Dragons.................................. but this time we'll have something other than Dragon Knights as enemies. That's something to look forward to!
  11. Maybe the knight pictured is based off of some preliminary designs that Lego will release next year? Unlikely, but purple and black is a really enticing and new color scheme for the good guys.
  12. I think the most recent one was the PQ one in 2011. I don't remember there being new ones since then, so it's been awhile. I would like a new raised baseplate, but I would prefer a tower on top, not a castle. It seems cooler to have a majestic tower on a mountain, looming over the kingdom.....
  13. What's wrong?
  14. Well, there aren't any more Hobbit sets, so I don't know how Minas Tirith would affect that. Please look at the discussion on the last page and tell me this thread is on topic. I also don't have a thread. I started it, sure, but that doesn't mean I'm responsible for it. I enjoy reading other's posts to hear there thoughts. This.....not so much.
  15. We probably will, in fact. Lotr and Hobbit have no power over the Castle theme because they are gone. As Deathleech mentioned, Lego now has more freedom to do what they want with their Castle line starting next year. An example would be a model for some Elves (E.x. : a prison wagon) that was never in the Hobbit films. Once again, Lotr and the Hobbit no longer dictate what Lego has to do with the Castle line, and Lego likes that. Oh, BTW, have you checked out Hobbit 2014 recently? Total chaos.
  16. Shouldn't this be locked? Nothing constructive going on here.
  17. I would LOVE that. I like how you put some thought into the sets to make them make sense, and the distribution of buildings and weapons to each faction is well done. I would buy every set idea you listed. Maybe Lego should hire you to the Castle team to make the sets less bland and more incredible?
  18. It's too late. The last four or five pages in this thread consist of gigantic arguments that establish absolutely NOTHING. Nothing is gained from this "debate" /flame war. When this thread, intended to be about the Hobbit 2014 sets, dissolves into people calling each other "lazy" , "Lacking common sense", and "Having a weak opinion", I think this thread has outlived it's purpose. All this thread is is an argument, just like the "Future Lotr Sets?" one, and it's derived from both topics never have anything new to talk about, as both themes have ended. It doesn't really matter much why the themes ended, just know that they did. I am honestly sick of seeing someone post something new in one of these threads only to find out it is adding to this never-ending riot. The one 2 posts above me is a wonderful example. Do you really expect anyone to read that? Any casual reader here (Like me) will find this "conversation" of yours very hard to understand or keep up with. There is nothing more to be said here, as I think I already explained this thread in the paragraphs above. Please post something worthwhile, guys. It's a news thread, not a debate club. I'm trying to make this thread readable and stable again.
  19. I supported this on Ideas, although, like others have said, I don't think the number of figs is realistic. However, rest assured that I'd buy anything with Black Flacons in it, and a set like your Moc would be no exception.
  20. Do you have interior pics? A tower that looks good from the outside always deserves a equally good looking inside!
  21. I'm surprised that Lego hasn't put something like this in one of their official sets. Nice work.
  22. These remakes never cease to impress! To bad you've run out of them, though.
  23. I like the effect the lighting gives this MOC. Nice!
  24. Great work! Very realistic and well proportioned.
  25. +1. Change.org, here we come.
