Hi!
-
Welcome! That's an impressive collection that you have! Good thing you held on to your Lego during your dark age, as some of the sets you own would cost you a large sum to replace.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14 Rumors and Discussion
BrickJagger replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That's what I expected it to be called. I find it very odd that we've only seen 11 of the 16, though. Maybe some non-Halloween monsters? -
Since you happen to be a Lego fan yourself, I suggest you go back and read those 27 other pages next time before posting. Get going! A. Wish-lists are a part of every fanbase ever. "I want a new Harry Potter sequel!" " I want Chrometroopers in Star Wars 7!" and so on. In fact, a lot of wish lists are good because they show that there is still a devoted following of a book, movie, or in this case, Lego theme. It's actually a good thing! However, there aren't nearly enough of those in this thread for your complaint to be legitimate. B. I have official confirmation that this theme is real, however I only got this news recently and can't share my source. I love being and Lego fan, and the people here are almost always respectful, but the one thing some people here lack is patience. Why do you guys expect so much news for a theme slated to come out next year in the middle of April? It almost never happens, and we are lucky that we have heard anything at all at this point! This thread will have "real" conversations eventually, but it won't be for a few months. In order to solve this problem, a good solution would be to stay away from this thread until August.

The uses of unusual parts here are very impressive! Can't wait to see more.

Just in case you guys haven't seen this, here's the Drake's Head Inn on Ideas. Really beautiful MOC. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/18836 It needs over 500 supporters in the next 10 days to make it to the deadline, after which it will receive 180 days to get to 10k. Would you guys like to see this made into a Castle 2016 companion set? I know I would!

That explosion effect is seriously well done! Amazing! -
You might be right. Poor Space fans......

The detail on the walls is fantastic!

I'm assuming that the release date he mentioned was incorrect. No way that happens. Earliest possible would be January 2016. That would make it about one year, but since these themes have been out of the spotlight for several years, Lego might be willing to revamp them all at the same time.

^ It's happened before. 2007-First good Castle theme in awhile. It also went back to the roots of Castle more than the previous two sub themes. 2007-Space comes back for the first time in six years 2009-Pirates comes back for the first time in 12 years It could happen again: 2015-Pirates comes back for the first time in six years 2016-Castle comes back for the first time in three years 2016-Space comes back for the first time in three years It has been awhile since the last Castle and Space sets graced the shelves. 2014 was the first year that there wasn't a new set for Castle or Space. I don't know if it will be a classic return, but we will surely see something new for the theme next year.

What Goes Into Your City From Other Themes?
BrickJagger replied to CrazyDalton777's topic in LEGO Town
I actually used to have Hogwarts in my city, but I've recently moved it out when I re-did my display in favor of the Lego Movie stuff. -
Nice collection? Have you thought about posting this in the town forum?

Welcome aboard!

Welcome!

^^ We'll see something before that.

What? I think this could happen. Considering that Lego is well aware that classic space sets like Benny's SSS sell well and the theme still has a very big following, they could be inclined to bring it back. However, the new line coming out later this year isn't very likely. We probably would have known about it by now, and it wouldn't make sense for it to come out the same time as Star Wars.

^ I honestly don't see any haters here. See the last line of post 4343 for my response. EDIT: Wrong post #. Whoops.

That's a great way to cap off the wave! Will you continue to make new waves?

It's only April! Leak season doesn't usually start until August, so I wouldn't expect too much. I recently learned that the info I got is in fact correct, so it's only a matter of waiting. What would you rather do, wonder if Lego is going to ever make new sets, or just wait a few months for them to come out?
-
^ That would be wonderful!

The roof is wonderful! Great build

They did, but the only fantasy element in that wave of Castle sets was the Wizard and Dragon, and since there was no dragon at the time for Lotr, they got away with it. Next there's sub theme is supposed to have actually fantasy bad guys, so Lotr would be too close in relation.
