The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
npgcole replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
The Bat Dune Buggy? Odd choice. Ah well, can't wait until we get the Bat Space Shuttle, Bat Train, and Bat Kayak Pumped for Condiment King. -
Hi! I've recently gotten into brickfilming and have been making some short Star Wars videos lately. I still have a lot of skills I need to work on, but hey, it's a start. Unlike my first couple of videos, these focus more on the joke rather than action. Hope you liked them and thanks for watching! Let me know which is your favorite

Several new images from the set and lots of new information, including Benicio Del Toro's and Laura Dern's characters.

Hey, I made a YouTube channel a while ago to show my super-amateur brickfilms. You can check it out if you want. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_9xm35-yVjIjyhmCHhMnmQ

Bricks To Life said we'd be getting two games. "Now, TT Games can go back to putting out two to four high quality, fully developed A+ LEGO games per year. If our sources are correct, this includes a full game based on a major Lego movie title, and a long-awaited follow-up to another hugely popular licensed title from a few years ago." (Link: http://www.brickstolife.com/the-quiet-cancellation-of-lego-dimensions/) I think the second game he's referring to is Marvel 2, and the major LEGO movie title's gotta be The LEGO Ninjago Movie. I think it's still coming. Edit: I just remembered that TLNM releases in September, so this game will likely be released BEFORE Marvel 2. Not sure why they announced that first.

Got the Chase McCain Fun Pack the other day, and let me just say that if you're a fan of LEGO City Undercover, I think you'll like this pack. Sure, the Adventure World is basically a scaled down version of the open world from the original game, but some of the quests just really make it feel like kind of a sequel, which I've been wanting ever since the game first came out! Also, I love that most of the voice actors seem to have returned. I was worried because the characters from Ninjago and Chima, LEGO's other two "in-house" franchises, didn't share any of the same actors as their TV shows. Not to mention Chase has, like, almost ALL the abilities through his different disguises. He's a pretty useful character to own.

LEGO Ninjago 2017 Discussion
npgcole replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Ohh, me like. Ed and Edna are definitely a surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one. I think they're wearing different outfits, but that's fine with me. And that Destiny's Bounty is an absolute BEAUT. Looks like there will be a Juniors set as well. 10739 Shark Attack. Wonder if Lloyd's variant in that will be exclusive. -

I for some reason made a LEGO Robbie Rotten back when We Are Number One was the big meme song. Haven't changed it since

Yeah, the hyperdrive ring is alright, but the starfighter isn't that great for reasons already mentioned. Nice to see young Boba again, but I was hoping he'd have a different hairpiece. I'm not sure what would work better, but his hair is curly, not straight like that.

Sorry if this has already been said, but do we know what set the Rose (Kelly Marie Tran's character) minifig appears in?

Those bad guys look so ridiculous. I love 'em. It's funny that their faces look serious, but their headgear is just silly. Love the Kermit eyes on that octopus dude. And the ninja, as always, are amazing. -
REVIEW: 71018 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 17
npgcole replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks for the review! It's funny how when the series was first revealed, I was only interested in a few, but now after taking a closer look at them, I want almost all of them! Great work as always -
https://ideas.lego.com/blogs/1-blog/post/136 "LEGO Ideas will no longer accept new submissions based on third-party licenses that are active in the LEGO Group’s portfolio." It's about time they came out and said this. It was pretty obvious projects based on licenses LEGO already does were never going to pass review.

Looks like there's a Rebrick contest similar to the one The LEGO Movie had. Make a short stopmotion video and it could be in the movie. https://www.lego.com/en-us/rebrick/contest-page/contests/ninjago-movie Also, here's a good pic of the Ninja in all their gear (except Cole):

I don't know how to feel about this. I mean, I liked Unikitty in The LEGO Movie, but... Well, I guess we'll wait and see how this turns out And man, I HOPE we get sets for this.

"Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2" Hmm. Meh, not nearly long enough of a title. Oh, I just can't wait for Ralph to discover the wonderful world of memes. Yeah, he'll be beggin' to go back.

Upcoming LEGO Worlds images - Classic Space, Dino, and more

Oh wow! This is awesome! Good to know that there's still a lot to look forward to in LEGO Worlds! -
(Spoilers, obviously. If you haven't seen the episode, you probably shouldn't be here.) I've never liked the idea that Maul survived TPM. But after this episode, and looking back on this character from 1999 to now, I think I may be finally able to look past that, even though I don't like it, because let's face it, Maul has been a very interesting character since then. And what a fitting end. His last words were so powerful. I was hoping for a longer fight, and was initially a little dissapointed with how short and sudden it all was. But now I've had time to think about it, and now I think that that was really the best way to go about it, and I am happy with it now. I love how Obi-Wan used Qui-Gon's stance, which caused Maul to try and kill him the way he killed his master. Obviously, Obi-Wan was prepared. Obi-Wan's such a good guy. After he strikes the killing blow, he catches Maul as he falls, and closes his eyes for him when he died. I love the respect he gave to the evil monster that he just killed who took so much from him. This is why Obi-Wan is my favorite Jedi. And that scene when you hear Beru call Luke's name and you see him running along... :') "He will avenge us." And, man, is next week's finale going to be intense.

npgcole replied to Realshow's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I was just thinking about how cool a LEGO Monster Fighters Movie would be. Imagine, it could poke fun at the classic monster movies and horror movie tropes in a fun way. I could imagine Lord Vampyre being a kinda scary, but very funny villain with the LEGO movies' style of humor. (Plus, I'd love to see the line make a comeback, since I mostly missed out on it back in 2012 )- 97 replies
